"It's not who their parents are, per se. But it is who their ancestors were. Like the amount of power the family has had over the years and the wealth of that family. And the purity of the magic running through the descendants veins."

Cassie looked at Lyssa with an eyebrow raised. "It all comes down to the same thing though, they think they are better for something they had no say in."

"Who's to say they aren't better?" Lyssa asked. "Who's the judge of it?"

Cassie looked at Lyssa. "What the frick has gotten into you?"

Lyssa looked at Cass confused. "I just asked a simple question."

"You're going all bloody blood sterotypical again."

"I was just asking."

"How does it make them better?' Cassie asked her. "How does it make you better?"

"Me? When the bloody hell did I get pulled into this?" Lyssa asked, eyebrows pulling together as she looked at Cassie.

"When you started acting like it makes you better."

"I've never acted like I was better. If I did I wouldn't be sitting here, talking to you; that's for sure."

"You have sometimes though," Cassie said. "Insulting Muggle borns the other day, and just then with that question."

"What are you talking about? I have not!"

"Whatever," Cassie muttered.

"Cassie, just explain to me what I'm doing. I don't even know what you're talking about, let alone why you're accusing me of insulting people. I haven't done anything."

"The other day, when we were in Diagon Alley, and you kept calling all the muggle borns the insulting way to say it."

"One time, by accident. Then I stopped saying it, and apologized for saying it later," Lyssa defended herself.

"You nearly kept saying it after," Cassie said.

"But I didn't say it after. I stopped myself."

"That's beside the point, the point is that you nearly said it. That you would have if I wasn't there."

"Who's to say that I would have said it if you hadn't been around?" Lyssa challenged. "How do you know I wouldn't have stopped myself then as well?"

"Because you nearly kept saying it in the first place, you would only do that if you were in the habit of saying it."

"But, I'm not in the habit of saying it," Lyssa argued. "When have you ever heard me say it before that day?"

"I don't know, you usaully say things like that cause your used to saying t."

"But, Cass, I don't say things like that and you know that I don't," Lyssa said, sounding like she was getting a little upset that Cassie wasn't believing her.
