Cassie and Lyssa Alternate Ending 4

I looked over at the Weasleys like Cassie was.

I felt my heart tighten in my chest as I saw Fred, laying there, through a gap in between them all gathered around him. Even after everything I still....bad train of thought.

I frowned. I wanted to go consol them but I had to keep an eye on Lyssa, I have bno clue why McGonagall said that, she's stuck to a bloody chair. What can she do? But Professor Mcgonagall made if perfectly clear...I sighed,

"Er...Evans," I said, drawing her attention. "I bet more than anything you want to go over there, and I also know that not being able to will put you in an upset mood which would make things even more unpleasant for me, so I have a proposition for you."

I raised my eyebrow suspecisouly.

"I'm listening." I told her.

I wondered what she was up to.

"Ok, I know that you've been told to watch over me," I muttered making a face at the mere thought and just reminding myself even more of the helpless position I was in, "and I also know that you want to go to your friends. So here's what I think you could do so that you don't go against what you've been told to do but you still get to go over there. You just have to take me with you."

"I don't think they would aprechaite you being there." I said simply although truth be told, I did quite like the idea. I frowned and looked over at the Weasley's again, again I wondered where Harry was, he should be there supporting them, not because he had to but because of how close he was to that family.

"I know they wouldn't but what choice do you have?" I said, tilting my head to the side. "I know you want to be over there and as it seems I have to go with you so you can. But if you think it's a bad idea then whatever."

I frowned again. "Oh what the heck." I muttered and took out my wand.

"If you so much as take a step in the other direction, I'll stun you." I warned.

I waved my wand, Which let her out of the chair but kept her arms tied behind her back.

I held my wand out in front of me, at her. I wasn't going to take chances.

I nodded and said, "It's almost like you don't trust me."

I stretched a bit after the ropes released me.

I rolled my eyes. "I trust you, but no-one else does, and actually I wouldn't be surpirsed if you tried to run."

We got over to the Wealey's and Molly looked up and glanced at Lyssa with a puzzled look.

"I wanted to se ehow you were." I said with a sad smile. "But McGonagall said I couldn't leave her."

Keeping Lyss in the corner of my eye I hugged her.

I gave Cassie an incredulous look. "And just how far do you think I would get if I did run?"

We went over to the Weasleys.

While Cassie hugged Molly I stood there rather awkwardly.

"At least two steps before I stunned you." I muttered.

"Are you ok?" I asked George bitting on my lip, I was on the verge of tears.

Voldemorts voice rang out stating that Harry was dead and had been killed trying to flee the grounds.

"As if." I scoffed.

He continied saying something about how we all had to go and some other junk yadada.

"Fuck." I scowled.

I was still standing around awkwardly, biting my lip when I heard Voldemort's voice. The hall had gone quiet when it started so it wasn't hard to hear. I could even hear Cassie's comments on what was said which moments before I wouldn't because of all the noise in the hall. I looked over at her for a moment.

"Crap, crap, crap." I repeated running my hand through my hair.

People were shooting other's worried looks.

I frowned. I wasn't going out there to listen to what that mad hatter would tell us to do, not if m life diepend on it, which is probably id.

"Coming Cassie?" Molly asked in a strained voice.

I shook my head. "I'm going t stay here, Im not going to listen to what he is saying."

She shrugged and soon me and Lyssa were the only ones left in the hall.

Sighing slightly, glad that everyone was mostly gone so that the awkwardness had somewhat faded, I sat on the floor, not move a step in any direction. I looked to my right sadly at Fred for a moment.

I frowned and paced slightly. It was oddly quiet in the hall and outside, there was arandom outburst of noise and then it suddenly went quiet again. I spun my wand around in my hand absent-mindedly. When the great hall doors swung open...

"Evans," I said, "stop pacing. It won't help anything."

Sighing, I wished I could run my fingers through my hair like I always did when I was frustrated, or nervous, or any other form of unpleasant emotion. Instead, I conceded to closing my eyes with a sigh. But they just snapped back open again when the door to the hall opened and I stood up from where I had been sitting.

"Erm…Evans…" I said eyeing what was going on.

"Fuck, fuck fuck." I ran my hand through my hair again.

I flicked my wand which kept Lyssa's hands behind her back then threw her her wand.

"Try just use it to save yourself not to injur anyone else. Please?"

I asked her frowning.

I barely caught my wand when she tossed it to me, shocked that she would even do it in the first place.

"Yeah, sure, whatever," I said to her statement, but mostly not meaning it.

I frowned and sighed wondering whether it was a good idea or not.


Probably not, but there wasn't anything I could do now.

The fight has errupted again.

I stood in the same spot I had been standing for a while, wand ready of course, smirking. That wasn't really a smart move for her to have made at and when opportunity came up I would get her back for ruining my fun.

The battle progressed and things happened. Turns out Harry wasn't dead after all too. That's when I saw the opportunity I was waiting for. While everyone was distracted by that I went closer to her and then nonverballed a stunner.

"Merlin." I said when it turns out Harry wasn't dead, he started talking to Voldemort about stuff.

Other fights had started.

I riased my wand to help before everything suddenly went black.

My smirk widened and I walked over to her, no one noticing me at all. I'd decided I would stay about and see how everything turned out so I pulled her into a corner away from everyone and immobilized her in case she came to before it was done. It was her turn to play hostage (again might I add).

In the end Harry killed Voldemort, and everyone thought it was over, or well most everyone. I'm sure some people knew I was supposed to take over. Small frown, not fun. Shaking my head lightly, I snuck (with Cassie who I levitated, cuz really I have magic for a reason) out of the castle.Once I was outside the grounds I Apparated both of us to the Manor.

Going to my own personal sitting room, not too far from my room (because really using the drawing room was old and not me anyway) I bound her to a chair there. Oh how the tables had turned. I sat in my own, much more comfortable chair, and un-immobilized her. Now just to wait.

I opened my eyes slightly groggily, I had a feeling I ad been stunned then fallen asleep. When the room came into focus I cursed noticing that I was back in the mannor, Cursing again I realised I was stuck in a freaking chair, which was digging into my back. I tried to move over a tad but couldn't. I growled then looked up at Lyssa who was smirking.

"Welcome back to the land of the conscious," I said, smirking when looked at me. "How does it feel having the tables turned? Because I can assure you, I'm having fun with it all. Very much fun. And it's only just begun."

I leaned back in my chair, still smirking.
