Cassie and Lyssa Alternate Ending 4

"Oh would you just shut the hell up!" I shouted getting up from the chair I was sitting in. "I'm am sick of you lecturing me about these things! I don't need you or anyone else to tell me about myself!"

"Get up!" I snarled, yanking her up by her arm. Then I pushed her back up the stairs and into the sitting room, rebinding her to the chair, somewhat tighter than before.

Then without a word I walked out, slamming the door behind me. I stood in the hallway for a moment, trying to collect myself before I did anything else. I really hated how she could always burrow her way under my skin and get the worst reactions out of me.

Then I walked off, pushing her to the back of my mind.

Lyssa pushed me roughly up the stairs and bound me back into the chair, tighter the before, I could barely move in the chair earlier now I couldn't budge an inch. I cursed under my breath. What I couldn't quite comprhend is that Lyssa was technecly the dark Lord or well Lady, I was older then her, just by about month. I whimpered slightly. I missed my freind, the one who actually gave a freaking damn about me. For the first time in years I started to cry.

A few hours later I had come to the conclusion that I had overreacted. I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair as I had been doing every since I'd come back into my room. With a resign sigh I got off of my bed and left the room.

Sitting at a really odd angle with my head resting on my shoulder I thought over the year, over everything. What had happened? Where had we gone off track? I was still crying and giving myself a headache because of it, but every time I tried to calm myself another thought just set it off again. I'd forgotten where I was, and who could hear me.

Half an hour after I left my room I found myself standing outside where Cassie was. I could hear something from inside, and I bit my lip opening the door slowly. Barely peeking in, I poked my wand through the gap between the door and frame and waved it a bit, releasing Cassie and wincing when I saw that they had left marks. I opened the door more and stood there, unsure.

I winced slightly as the bounds that tied me to the chair were realised, they had dug into me and left a slight mark. I wasn't in the mood to move though however uncomfortable the chair was, but I pulled her legs up and curled into a ball. I didn't care right now why I had been realised. I'd had enough, I just wanted to get home, Mum had had doubts about sending me back to Hogwarts this year but I'd talked her out of it...stupid idea really, but then the ministy would have suspected something if I didn't turn up to school as I'm a halfblood not a muggle born or anything.

Slowly I walked into the room, shutting the door behind me. It was dark inside, with only a little light coming through the curtains that had been closed at some point, so I magically lit some of the candles that were scattered about the room. "Cassie," I said in a voice that was nearly inaudible.

I looked sideways at Lyssa, my vision was blury and I rubbed my eyes with my hand and looked back at her. It vaguely registered in my mind that she'd called me by my first name instead of my last, it had been a while since she'd called my by that, before she had gone all Malfoyish, when it had just been a game. A way to get to the Carrows back.

I fiddled with the chain to my locket and bit my lip when she looked over at me.

"Would it make sense," I started to say, voice a bit louder, "if I said that I was a)sorry, b) a horrible person and c) the most pathetic excuse for a friend all times a googleplex?"

"I don't know." I replied coursly my throat dry. "I have no clue about anything anymore, it's just a blur of thoughts."

I winced slightly at my headache,

"I now hate your house." I muttered.

"Figured you would so um..."I fidgeted slightly moving closer to her. Now in the candle light proper one would notice I had a bag hung over my shoulder. I took it off and handed it to her. "Take and leave. It has everything you'd need in it. I don't care anymore. Oh! And I have the charm that fell off your bracelet if you want it."

I smiled and took the bag, I rumaged through it and pulled out my wand, the first one I had had that had been taken off me when I'd first come to Malfoy Mannor, I presumed my old one was lost somewhere in the great hall. "Course I want it back." I took the charm and clipped it back onto my bracelet. "Thank you," I smiled breifly. "Try not to get yourself killed in war. That wouldn't be pleasent." I turned to leave and turned back. "Yes I realise I am a stupid Gryffindor but I still love you."

"I'll try," I said, "but that's all I can do."

I smiled at her a bit.

Then with a sigh I sat in my chair and propped my head on my hand.

I walked out of the room and out of the mannor keeping an eye alert to see if anyone was going to try and hex me. I got to the edge of the grounds and as soon as I was out of the yard I disapearated to the edge of Hogwarts, I grumbled at the gate, I couldn't get through it because it had been enchanted shut. Sitting down I wondered what to do to catch the attension of anyone in the carstle.
