Cassie and Lyssa Alternitive ending one for Alternitive ending Four.

"Would you just stop?" I said, looking at her. "You're just making it worse!" I bit the inside of my lip and pushed my bangs out of my face. I didn't want to totally breakdown, so I needed to focus my mind on something else. I looked down at the hand I had used to hit the wall to notice that a bit of my knuckles were bleeding a bit. "Well that's not pleasant," I noted.

'I'm sorry." I muttered bitin my lip. "I'm trying to find a way to help. I don't want you to go n front of the Wizengamont and go to Askaban..."I trailed off and sighed still bitting my lip. Life was cruel, insanly cruel.

"I don't want to have to go and, maybe I'm just being pessimistic, but I don't see a way out of this," I replied. "Now shut up about it." I took my hair from the tie and ran my hand through it, sighing and leaning on the wall.

"Well excuse me for trying to help." I muttered leaning my head back on the wall.

I sighed running my hand through my hair again. It wasn't meant to end like this, our childish fun had turned back to bite us.

"I know you're just trying to help, but honestly, it's not helping. It's making this all seem more hopeless, if that's even possible," I said. "I just...I don't really want to think about it right now. You know? Please just talk about something stupid enough to distract me."

I thouhgt wondering what random babble to babble about. My mind had flew out the window and I didn't knowwhat to talk about. "Erm...George told me that Percy wrote another colum for caldron thinkness..." I sighed.

I blinked and raised an eyebrow. "That may have been the most ridiculous thing I think I've ever heard in my life and that includes all the stupid things Draco and I did as children," I muttered. Then I yawned which was followed by a sneeze.

I laughed. "Yeah well, it's Percy isn't it?" I said with a smile.

I was unsure of what else to say, the preasure in the room was very anxious and some other word that I couldn't emember right now. I rolled my eyes at myself.

"That is true. Percy is rather ridiculous," I noted with a nod. Then I yawned again. "What time is it?" I asked staring out randomly into the room. I pushed some hair from my face and brushed through it with my fingers, since it was messed up.

The next few days passed extreamly slowly and before I knew it McGonagall was coming to take Lyssa to the hearing.

"Do I get to come?" I asked once the door was shut behind her.

"Yes," she said. "But only because you're a witness."

Over the next couple of days I easily slipped back into my snappish attitude, the time talking civilally with Cassie near forgotten, because honestly I figured I had a lot of things to be angry about. Although, in truth I think it was just a way to hide how scared I was.

I frowned slightly, wondering if I could somehow use being a witness to my advantage, I could help Lyss...I could also get thrown into Askaban for trying to help Lyss. I bit my lip anxiously.

I finally snapped out of my thoughts, noticing Professor McGonagall, whom I wasn't even aware had been in the room for a couple of minutes talking to Cassie, had shown up. "I'm supposing it's time then?" I muttered looking at her. She nodded at me.

I watched with a slight frown as Lyssa's hands were bound behind her. "How are we getting there?" I asked professor McGonagall. "Apperation." She replied holding onto Lyssa's arm firmly. I took her other arm. "But its not possible in the school." "ButI can turn it well on a off."

"Oh bloody hell, I hate Apparating," I muttered to myself, already feeling dizzy just from the thought of it.

I didn't like appearating either but I really didn't have much of a choice. I frowned again thinking it over in my head, what was I going to tell the ministy. I got an idea and smiled grimly, I also hoped Lyssa wouldn't act like an idea and stuff it up if the chance came.

It was rather sudden, the Apparating. And when it stopped I nearly stumbled, and would have fallen over if McGonagall hadn't had a hold on my arm. I swayed a bit on my feet however, and closed my eyes, trying to stop the dizziness.

I made a face when we stopped spinning, appearation was not my favourite form of travel. uick. Still thinking things over McGonagall marched as to the room where the hearing was going to take palce.

My eyes opened again once I felt McGonagall walking, since it was likely a bad idea to walk with my eyes closed. We walked a bit until we came to a door. I bit the inside of my lip as the door opened.

I felt suddenly nausious and I wasn't even the one that was getting heared? I couldn't think of the word. We entered the room and the dude with the hat at the front said some junk that I wasn't listening to. Lyssa looked as if she was about to be sick, I sent her a worried look. She sat down on the chair in the midldle and I jumped as chains on the side click together chaining her to the chair.

I made an inaudible squeak sound when I got chained to the chair and if I didn't already feel sick and nauseous that did the trick. My heart beat had sped up in my nervousness and fright and I was sure I was shaking now. This was a nightmare. A bloody fucking inescapable nightmare. I bit my lip hard as I looked around the room at the people there.

The ministy asked questions and Lyssa answered them, truthfully of not I wasn't entially sure. But the ministy seemed pleased with her answers anyway. They called me up and I jumped sligthly and walked to the middle of the room anxiously.

"Miss Evans," The guy in charge said. "Do you believe Miss Malfoy here did those things by her own choice."

"No, I don't." I said boldly me anxiously forgotten once I'd been asked the question, I wasn't payed attension to Lyss I wasn't paying attnesion to Professor McGonagall that by the sound of things may have just fallen out of her chair, I was just looking at the guy in the middle.

I answered their questions, keeping the shake out of my voice thankfully, and then they called for Cassie. They asked her the first question and her answer made my eyes go wide for a second before they went back to normal size, and then I just stared at her. What the hell was she doing?

The guy who was in charge (remembering his name would help) looked slightly shocked and glaced suspiciously at me with a look that said. Im not stupid. I gazed back at difeintly as I could. "If Miss Malfoy didn't do it because of her own choice then why would she have done it?" "Imperio?" I suggested feeling the preasure around the room, I sort of wished I could turn invisable butthat wouldn't help anyone except for me and that wasn't why I was here. "And who would have Imperioed her?" "Carrows?" I replied back.

For a second after hearing her answers, my breath seemed to catch in my throat and I realized she was trying to defend or protect me. I was completely shocked that after everything I had done to her she would....But I didn't let it show, or else that would ruin her idea. Instead I just kept looking at her.
