"Well," Kali muttered, "losing my parents means I basically lose their money, and Aunt Sofia won't be able to help me much cause all she has is what was left of grandpa's money from when he died..."

Addi frowned at that. "That's not good," She said with a frown, wondering what was going to happen to her freind if her parents abandoned her. The sorting finished finally and food appeared on the table. Addi frowned looking at the food and put a small stash of it onto her plate before she started to eat.

Kali shrugged. "I'll be fine for this year and next," she said. "It's after school I'm worried about. Cause getting a good paying job at 18 is hard." She looked at the table as the food appeared, not very hungry anymore.

Dinner passed and soon the two girls were on their way to the dorm. They pulled on their pajama's and after a few quick goodnights they had fallen asleep. Addi was woken the next morning by the sun seeping throuhg the curtain, with a sigh she rolled over and out of bed starting to get ready. "Mornin'," She said to Kal as the other girl woke up.

Kali just narrowed her eyes. She loved Hogwarts, really she did. But she did not like getting up early for classes. With a groan, she flipped over on her bed, burying her face. If anyone wanted her up, they were going to have to drag her.

After some trouble Addi got Kal out of bed and the two of them made their way through the castle to breakfast. While munching on their breakfast McGonagall came down giving them timetables. "I don't do Muggles studies," She said looking at Professor McGonagall. "And I downright refuse to."

Kali looked at her schedule too. "I don't even need it," she said. "I was raised by them." McGonagall frowned. "I'm afraid it's been made compulsory. Everyone has to take it. I'm sorry girls."

"That's just stupid," Adelicia said in an annoyed tone. She looked at the Transfiguration Professor with an eyebrow raised. "I'm not going." "Miss Astrea," She said with a sigh. "Unless you wish to find yourself in a detension and wth a lack of housepoints I suggest you go."

Kal frowned. "Now, Professor McGonagall, that's just cruel. It's a useless class. What's the point of going to it?" She raised an eyebrow at McGonagall, as if challenging her to find a good answer to the question.

"I don't make the rules Miss Larson," She said. "And I need to get these timetabes to the other students." She walked off. Addi frowned after her. "Stupid," She muttered again.

Kali frowned after the Transfiguration teacher. "I don't want to go to some stupid class I have no need for. And everything in it is probably wrong anyways."

"I don't want to go to some class that I don't have a need for either," Addi muttered. "No offense or anything but most of the time I really do not care how Muggles act."

Kali shrugged. "I have no problem with that, seeing as I'm not one," she said. "My parents would have a problem with that however, but they don't really matter."

Addi grumbled he annoyance as the two girls made their way to the Muggle Studies class, Addi did not want to do it and her mood did not improve when she fond out the teacher was one of the new teachers who was most defiently. Addi had had enough of the class after a few words and sighed trying to zone out.

Kali successfullly zoned out about a minute into the class. She wasn't going to listen to something she didn't need, and from the couple of words she did catch she was quite glad that she was wasn't listening.

"This is stupid,"Addi complained under her breath grabbing outsome blank parchment and drawing random squiggles all over it. The class was boring, the Carrows were idiots and it wasn't as if she was going to have a profession that involved knowing about Muggles.

That class ended and both girls walked out of the room complaining about the class, although, Kal's complaints were a bit more angry than Addi's. "What's next?" she asked, hoping it was a good class that would calm her down.

"Defence againt the dark Arts," Addi said having nearly almost memorised her timetable, she was quick with remembering things and well yeah. The two girls made their way to the defence classroom and Addi frowned seeing that one of the Carrows was a teacher. She sighed taking a seat in around the middle of the classroom, the back seats having already been taken and not wanting to be enar the front.

Kal frowned. She'd never been good at practical classes. Upon entering the room, the frown deepened. She walked and sat at the table with Addi, starting at the new teacher. A second Carrow. If this was anything like their sibling then this class was going to be just as bad as the one before it.

Addi raised her eyebrow as the teacher explained what spell they were going to be doing for that lesson."That's illigle," She heard someone say and sure enough it did sound as if it would be. The teacher then told them that with Voldemort it chanrge it no longer was which caused Addi to frown. They were in trouble if some things were no longer illigle.

Kali frowned at the Carrow person. They were stupid for involving themselves with Voldemort. Anyone who involved themselves with him were.

"Miss Astrea," The Carrow said and Addi raised an eyebrow at her woncering why on earth her name was being called. "Care to give the class a demonstration about how the spell works." Addi narrowed her eyes. "Depends." She said. "On what?" "What happens if I decide that I would rather not? And would I be on the casting or the recieving end." "If you accept you would be on the casting end if you decline the receiving." Addi's eyes narrowed furthur.

Kali frowned as the Carrow called on Addi. "That's utterly ridiculous," she said. "You're going to involve a student in a spell that..." She didn't have a word for it. "Do you honestly not care that we're all underage?"

The Carrow ignored Kal looking at Addi who was processing it in her mind. If she declined she would end up hurt, though if she accepted shed have to hurt someone else. Addi had never been the Gryffindor who would take the pain off others if she could help it. "Fine," She said flounched towards the front of the room.

Kali looked at Addi sharply. She wasn't serious, was she? Kali's eyebrows pulled together for a moment as she thought about it.
