(*insert catchy title here*)

Kali just sort of looked at the floor. "Can I sit down now?" she asked, the stinging feeling still present.

The Carrow nodded and both girls turned to resit. The bell rang (as it was somehow a tiny period..um.) as they were going and so Addi grabbed her bag off of the floor and continued to walk out of the room. She had a free period next so made her way up to the common room.

Kali also had a free period and so followed Addi to the common room. There she asked, "Why did you agree to do that?"

"I'll give you three guesses," Addi said not looking up from the book she had pulled out of her bag. "And the first two don't count."

Kali frowned. "So you would rather hurt your best friend than get a detention? Really?"

"Well considering that I don't think detensions with Carrows will be pleasent. Yeah."

Kali just shook her head in disbelief. "That's nice to know. Lovely to know just how much I mean."

Addi looked up in slight irritation. "Would you just give it a rest? Anyway, I was going you a favour, as I can't cast that spell quie successfully it would have hurt a lot less hen if the Carrow cast it."

"I don't bloody care if the freaking spell hurt worse or less. It hurt more coming from someone I care about. I don't care about the Carrow."

"Then what is the problem if you don't care how much it hurt?"

"I didn't say it didn't hurt. It's just not a physical hurt. And the big deal is that you were willing to do the spell. I know I wouldn't have."

"Well you're not me." Addi replied fed up. She didnt want to argue right now. It was giving her a headache.

"Well that much is obvious I would hope!" Kali said, getting frustrated. "Since I wouldn't hurt my best friend. This." she pointed to the mark still on her face from the spell, "is something I would never do to you, or anyone else." Then she walked up to the dorm and flopped on her bed, arms covering her face.

Addi frowned slightly, even though she was in Gryffindor she had never been particularly brave and usaully just opted for the option that would hurt her less. She shrugged it off picking the book she was reading back up and continued to read.

Kali didn't move from her bed for the rest of the day, missing her classes. She just got up for dinner because she was hungry.

The classes for the rest of the day werent that interesting, as it was only the first few classes of the year the stuff was relativly basic compared to what they were going to be learning later on in the year. She made her way to dinner later that night helping herself to pizza.

Kali walked down to dinner from the common room, after everyone else was already there from their classes. She hadn't realized the time or how hungry she was, having skipped over lunch.

After dinner Addi went back up the common room and into the dorm, no-one else was in the dorm. She sat down on her bed taking her guitar out of it's case and sitting it on her lap. She thrummed random notes for a few moments before readjusting it and starting to play. She hummed along with the tune quietly.

Kali took her time with dinner, and ended up being one of the last people to finish eating. She walked up the stairs, heading back to the common room.

Addi contined to play, ignoring the fact that she had some homework to do and some other junk to finish off.

Kali stayed downstairs, sitting on a couch rather than seeking out Addi. She was rather put out with her at the moment.

Addi decided that she'd do her homework the next night, or at breakfast if any of it was due the next day. She wasn't too sure if she did have any.

Kali finally got tired and decided to go to bed. She walked up the dorm stairs, and got her pajamas from her trunk. After changing she laid down and went to sleep.

Addi stopped playing guitar when she heard people come in. She put it back into it's case and changed, getting into bed. She feel asleep relativly quickly waking up feeling kind of refreshed.

The next morning, Kali was up early oddly enough. She actually the first one up. She got ready and headed down for breakfast, succeeding in not waking anyone else up.
