Addi took her wand out of her pocket twirling it around in her hand for a breif moment she looked up at the Carrow with an eyebrow raised. The Carrow had probably expected the girl to refuse, she was a Gryffindor. "You know," Addi said in a bored tone. "I don't thnk i want to stand up here all day."

Kal blinked a couple of times. She'd never expected Addi to agree to do something like casting a harmful spell at someone. She shook her head for a moment.

"Figures," Addi continued in her bored tone. "Your meant to work out what your going to do before you call someone up to the front. In case you didn't know." The Carrow called up some Hufflepuff or other and gestured for Addi to cast the spell. Addi nodded turning her wand on the kid who looked as scared as hell. She flicked her wand casting the spell which apparently broughtsome form of pain and then flicked it to stop. "Well as interesting as that was. Can I go now?"

Kali frowned at the display in the front of the room. She didn't approve. Once Addi came back to sit down she whispered, "Why did you agree to that?"

The Carrow nodded and Adelicia went back to her seat. "Cause I'd rather not have it cast at me." She replied to Kal's question.

"Oh, so you don't care that it was cast at someone else?" Kali asked.

"What's got your hair in a knot?" Addi asked her raising an eyebrow.

Kal shook her head. "Nothing. I'm fine."

"If you say so," Addi said with a sigh wondering when the class was going to end. It was boring and stupid and she really did not care what was getting taught.

Kali didn't say anything else.

The girls next Defence against the dark arts lesson was the first class of the night day. Addi frowned at it as the two girls made their way to the classroom and sat down in their usaull spots. Which was closer to the back then they had been the day before.

Kali frowned as she leaned her head on her hand, elbow sitting on the desk. She hated this class already, and it was only the second lesson of the year. Although, classes involving wands were never her favorites to begin with.

"Miss Larson and Miss Astrea can you come up to the front?" Addi raised an eyebrow at the Carrow though leaving her bag on the floor near her desk she walked up to the front wondering what crap the Carrow had come up with this time.

Kali hesitated in her seat as the Carrrow called her name to come to the front. "I don't think I want to," she said. "Not after what happened at the front of last class."

Addi leaned against the wall as the Carrow and Kal started to bicker. She yawned boredly. "If you don't then you'll get a Detension which will be considerably worse then what is going to happen here."

Kali frowned. "Why not just choose someone else?" she asked. "Why bother with arguing with me when there's a room of other students." But despite that she got up, hesitantly, and walked to the front of the room slowly.

The Carror explained the spell and Adelicia raised her eyebrow. "No way in hell," She said folding her arms across her chest. "Well then I suppose you'll both get a detension." Addi frowned at the Carrow contemplating what to do. She didn't want to hurt Kal, but she didn't want a detension either. She shakily unwound her arms from her chest holding her wand firmly in her right hand.

Kali frowned at the spelll's explanation. She looked over at Addi, who had uncrossed her arms and had her wand out. She wouldn't really...

"No," She said shaking her head. "I can't." "You did yesterday without hesistation." "But that was different." Addi protested not caring how that made her sound.

"And just how was it different?" the Carrow asked.

"Kal's my best freind." Addi muttered quietly. "I don't want to hurt her."

"Fine then," the Carrow said. "Return to your seat then, and I'll demonstrate the spell. And you'll have a detention on top of that for disobedience."

Addi wavered, she really did not want a detension. The Slytherin in her taking over the stubborn Gryffindor she turned to the Carrow. "Fine." She didn't care right then if it made her seem cruel and heartless she just didn't want to get hurt and would do what she had to do to make sure that that didn't happen. Shakily Addi turned her wand on her best freind and muttered the incantation.

"Addi, don't," Kali said as Addi said fine to the Carrow. The other girl raised her wand and muttered the spell, and then Kali felt a sharp sting across her face. She winced a little bit at the feeling, eyes watery.

Addi clamped down on her emotions, she didn't want to feel sorry and guilt so she just tried to stop herself from feeling it. When she was sure her emotions were in check she glanced at the Carrow an eyebrow raised, as it wasn't saying nor doing anything.
