Where The Feeling is Criminal

Sometime later Taylor got up and got onto the bed, she put her head on the pillow facing the wall with a sigh. It didn't take her long to drift off to sleep.

The next day, Lani headed back to the room. She saw that Taylor was asleep on the bed and she nearly smiled. Lani put down the food she'd brought, along with a letter she'd recieved from the Order saying how Tay's siblings were doing, on Taylor's side of the room and walked back out, not waking the girl.

Taylor woke the next morning to see food and a letter, she frowned reading eh letter. It was good that her siblings were getting on well but she wanted to get home and see them. She missed them.

Lani did somethings that needed to be done, like shopping, before she ended up called back to Riddle Manor by Voldemort. Apparently, he wanted to know what she'd learned. Upon learning that it was nothing of great value at the moment, he ordered her to use as harsh a method as necessary to get important stuff. She just nodded and walked out, heading up the stairs.

Taylor sighed, she was bored and did not feel like reading. In fact she couldn't read, as she had a headache and reading would just worsen it which was not something she wanted. She ran a hand through her hair making a face, it was icky and oily and needed a wash.

Lani reached the top of the stairs and walked down the hall to Taylor's room. She ran a hand through her hair before opening the door.

Taylor glanced up when Lani entered the room, though she didn't say anything, just sighed and leaned back against the wall.

"He's not happy with me," Lani said, looking at Taylor, who looked miserable. "He wants me to be harsher in my attempts. I'm not sure I can. Just give me one small bit of information, and you can spare yourself a ton of hurt later."

Taylor looked at her. "We've been through this," She said with a frown. "I'm not saying anything."

"Taylor," Lani said, tone somewhat harsh. "You're pushing your luck with me. I've been nicer than I should have been. Just cooperate for one damn second. I don't want to do this to you, but I will if I have to."

"yeah well, I don't want to be here. I don't want to aid people that killed my parents and will use the infomation I give to kill more people. Stuff it if I sound like a fricken Gryffindor but I have morals and im sticking to 'em."

Lani frowned and pulled out her wand. Then she proceeded to vanish the bookshelf and the bed, Taylor still sitting on it, causing the girl to fall to the floor. "Last chance," Lani said, her expression slowly becoming blank. The other girl was quiet. Lani frowned more. "Have it your way then," she said, pointing her wand at Taylor. "Horrendus Somnium."

(The spell causes the target to see their worst nightmares come true but only they see it and the spell causes no damage only what the target causes to themselves. The spell creates an entire illusion in the targets mind replacing everything they see with the illusion. (C) HPH)

The image that Taylor saw wasn't pleasent. It was far from it. She saw her two younger siblings killed and not quick and painless but brutally and at the hands of Death Eaters. Taylor loved her younger siblings with all of her heart and even when one of them got a scrapped knee she was slightly upset. She wasn't aware of it, her mind too wrapped up in the illusion that seemed so real, but she was crying. Tears streaming down her face.

Lani watched Taylor for a moment, but then shut her eyes. She didn't want to see that. She honestly couldn't bear hurting people. It just wasn't her thing. But once a person was in, there was no getting out, so she was stuck. Hating it or not, she was stuck.

(Counter-Curse: None know to date. the spell ends after the targets fear has been fully realized or blood has been drawn which brings the mind back to reality.)

Taylor shut her eyes, trying to get away from the picture, but even shutting her eyes did nothing. The image just played on the inside of her eyelids. She bit down on her lip really hard, causing it to bleed and the image vanished. Though she kept her eyes shut, she was shaking and tears still running down her face.

Lani knew the second that the spell dissipated. The heaviness in the air vanished. "Well," she said to Taylor, voice blank, "that waws just a slight taste of what I can do to you. And actually at some point, if you continue to hold back information, I may just have to bring your siblings into this. And then we shall see what you do." Lani may have hated being a Death Eater, but that didn't mean she wasn't capable of acting like one.

Taylor shook her head, she wanted to shout at her to not bring the twins into it, or something of that sort, but she couldn't. She couldn't get herself to talk or to make any actual noise that didn't include her crying. She didn't want to be here, she wanted to be home.

"Are you going to talk now?" Lani asked. "Well, when you regain the ability to, since it seems like you can't at the moment."

Taylor shook her head again, curling her knees up into her chest, if anything, that had made her want to talk less.

Lani scowled. "You are the stupidest person and most stubborn being I've ever come across," she said. "Guess I'll have to try another spell." Then she raised her wand again. "Concussio," she said, sending a lower level version of the spell at Taylor. If it came to it, she could always up the power. So long as she didn't kill the other girl.

(At lower levels will simply knock the wind out of the target if hit in the chest but the more power the caster puts in to it the stronger the spell becomes becoming able to break bones all the way up to if hit in the chest can shatter rib cage and puncture the lungs or stop the targets heart. The breath was knocked out of Taylor and she gasped, though quite soon she could breath again though she did have some lingering pain in her legs which was semi painful.

Lani looked at Taylor. "You have five seconds to say something before I up the spell. I doubt you want broken bones, so it'd be in your best interest."

Taylor was still crying but she did not care. She knew that keeping silent probably wasn't the smartest thing to do, but she wasn't going to help the Death Eaters, that would be betraying the Order and betraying her parents.

Lani frowned at the other girl, sighing. "Have it your way then." She did the spell again, this time nearly to the level ofbreaking bones, but not quite there.

Taylor let out a short shout as the spell hit her, she wans't cut out for this type of thing. The thing that had pushed her to the Order was because of her parents, because she wanted to stop the same thing happening to other people.
