Where The Feeling is Criminal

Lani entered the room and tossed something to Taylor. "Lunch," she explained. "Though for you it's probably the first thing you've gotten in a while." She closed and locked the door behind her a moment later.

Taylor grabbed it and bit into it, she was actually feeling somewhat sick and hoped that the little bit of food would make her feel at least margionally better. She finished it off and wiped her hands on her pants.

Lani sighed. "If I made things more accomodating, would you be more willing to cooperate, or am I really going to have to torture information out of you?"

"I'm not going to co-operate," Taylor said. And she was dead-set on not. Despite the fact that something horrible would probably happen to her. She made a face, having a headache was not fun. She presumed it was from dyhdration as she hadn't had anything to drink in the last few days and her throat was also dry and sore.

Lani made a note at how scratchy Taylor's voice was, realizing that the other girl needed not only food, but water as well. Sighing, Lani conjure up a bottle and Aguamenti'd some water in it, so she could toss it to Taylor.

Taylor caught it and drank half of the bottle in one gulp. She swallowed a few times, her throat felt considerably better but not fabolous.

"Curse my inability to be completely heartless," Lani muttered to herself as she conjured up a pallet of blankets and a pillow in the corner of Taylor's side of the room. "There," she said. "I've made your life better before I make it worse."

Taylor grabbed the pillow and held it in her arms, holding it against her chest. She thought Lani was rather odd. Giving her pillows and blankets. She got the blankets and sat on top of them. Not wanting to wrap them aroundher.

"You know, Taylor," Lani said, remembering the girl's name from when they were in school. "You make it really hard to torture. You're like a kid."

"It's funner acting like a kid," Taylor said with a shrug. "Adults are boring." She shrugged again, humming quietly under her breath. She didn't care that people found her nature childish or odd, she enjoyed herself and that was all that really mattered.

"Yes, but I can't torture children, or childish people. It's beyond me. But if I don't learn things, then I'm going to get in trouble, and then things will be a mess, and I won't be the one in charge of learning things from you anymore. Then it'll be someone who has no qualms hurting people at all."

Taylor didn't say anything, she didn't have anything to say to that. She wasn't going to stop acting child-ishly just so someone wouldn't feel so bad about making her feel pain. That was just bizzare.

"Ah! Bugger it all! You're safe for another day!" Then Lani stalked from the room.

Taylor smiled slightly as Lani stalked out, she had the feeling that Lani was going to keep trying and put it off for as long as she could manage. She sighed and leaned back into the wall, curling her feet under her.

Lani returned the next day, to notice that Taylor was asleep on the blankets she'd conjured the day before, and hugging the pillow. This made Lani sigh. It made things so much harder.

Taylor rolled over, blinking grogily a few times. She yawned making a face. Sleeping on the floor (even with a few blankets) was not comfortable, and she woke up feeling considerably sore. She noticed that Lani was in the room and sat up drawing the blanket around her knees.

Lani tossed Taylor breakfast without a word. If she going to do this properly, then she couldn't start up a conversation.

Taylor grabbed it and ate it. Sitting with her knee's pulled up to her chest, the pillow sitting down next to her feet. She yawned and blinked a few times, trying to blink the sleep out of her eyes. She wiped at the sleep with her hand.

"I'm assuming that you aren't going to be cooperative and tell the Order's plans so..." Lani muttered, taking out her wand. "Am I correct in assuming this?"

"I'm not saying anything," Taylor said with another yawn. She eyed the wand warily, not really liking what could possibly come out of it.

"I thought as much," Lani said, and then before her conscious could catch up to her actions she flicked her wand, doing a spell which would cause a semi-painful pressure to start building in Taylor's chest, and could later affect her ability to breathe properly if it built enough. It was something tame like this that was good to start with then get worse, rather than to start completely horrible. This way you could promise that things would get worse.

Taylor gasped slightly at the pain, she pressed her arm into her chest, and then pushed both her arm and chest into her knee. Not really noticing that she was doing, but just as a reflex kind of thing.

Lani watched Taylor. "You can tell me things now, and I'll take it off, or you can sit it out and wait for it to stop on its own which takes 24 hours, in which time it'll become so much that you can barely breathe..."

Taylor gave her a dark look but didn't say anything, using her free arm she curled it around both of her legs and rested her chin on her knees. She made a slight noise of discomfort. She didn't have the best pain threshold either.

Lani conjured up herself a comfortable seat, since she couldn't leave, and got ready for a long wait. Luckily, she'd also conjured a book.
