Cassie and Lyssa Alternate Ending 3

"Oh but it's so much fun to get in your way."

"Riding with me as close as before
Whatever happens, I won't ask for more

I snorted. "You would know all about getting in the way."

"Say you know who I am
And what I'm about
Then you'll understand that I feel alone
I live my own life "

"You could try and get people to understand." I noted.

"I'm not sure I'll find words
To cover the hurt
That I see in your eyes
But I gotta try"

I raised an eyebrow. "What hurt?"

Then I shook my head in disdain. "I'm done with this ridiculousness." I turned on my heel and walked from the doorway where I was standing. "Oh and one more thing," I said turning back to her for a moment.

"I wanna lose control, I'm not afraid to lose it all."

Then I turned back and walked up to my room.

"Too late, you're already mad." I called after her and scowled to myself.

Stupid Malfoy, I wanted to cross my arms in annoyance or something of that sort but I couldn't.

"I didn't travel this far
To watch it all fall apart
So give me your hand
And take a chance"

I repeated quietly to myself.

I walked into my room and promptly flopped down on my bed, letting my legs hang off. I stared at my ceiling, frowning. That stupid girl, trying to...I sighed and put an arm over my eyes closing them. What was she trying to do exactly?

I was still singing quietly to myself when I heard the front door open.

Wondering who it was, but not really caring I just continued singing.

"And you're not to blame
When the sky fills with rain"

I felt the spells around the house alert to someone coming in. Interested I got up and walked down the stairs. And there in my doorway was Voldemort. My eyebrows pulled together. He looked right at me. "And how is the...guest?" he said.

"Insufferable," I replied sharply, feeling annoyance at the thought of Cassie.

"I do have ears you know." I shouted grumpily.

I was sick and tired of being held hostage.

It wasn't even thrilling, I wasn't even fearing for my life.

I scowled at her shout. "Example A," I muttered under my breath. Then I crossed my arms over my chest with a huff. It was quiet for a second. Then I said, "You do know, it's quite boring around here, and I mean there's only so many way a person can entertain themselves when their only company is bound to a chair and all," I looked down at my feet. "So um..."

"You're asking me to let her loose?" Voldemort said in a scary calm way.

I nearly paled, I swear it. "Um...no sir, not unless you wanted to. I was merely stating that I was quite bored being alone with only her as company and not being able to do much with said company. It's not good for one's sanity is all."

I looked back up at him. He nodded at me. "If you swear to me you can keep her in your sight at all times I'll let her loose, if soley for your sanity." (because what good is she as a successor if she's mentally insane?)

I was shocked for a moment. "Really?"

He nodded again and began walking to the room where she was. "Don't make me regret it."

I nodded.

As soon as I was let out of the chair I had to refrain from punching someone in the face, that wouldn't have gone down too well and I probably would have been stuck to the chair for another half a day. I crossed my arms and scowled.

I had decided to stay out of the room for the moment, knowing the second I walked in...I waited just outside until Voldemort walked back out. He didn't say anything, just walked passed. And then he was gone. I suppose he was just checking up on things here.

Sighing, I walked a couple steps until I was in the doorway. I stared into the room to see Cassie with her arms crossed and scowling. I found my own arms crossed as well.

I frowned then stepped forward, Lyssa was watching me inquizitivly.

"You." I snarled. "Are the most unsensitive git in the world."

I punched her in the nose.

I felt myself stumble backwards a bit and nearly fall.

Hand over the spot that had been punched, I glared at her.

"What the fuck? I get you freed from the chair and you hit me?!" I said angrily.

"You deserved it." I said casually and gave a nonchalont shrugg. On the insides I was still seething.

"But, you got to admit, it was a pretty good punch." I smiled wickedly, I flexed my wrists and fingers then looked up at Lyssa who looked absolutly furious.

I continued to glare at her, scowling.

"You do know," I said, "I'm the one with a wand right?"

I raised an eyebrow at her.

"Course I do, If I was the one with the wand, I would be out of here already and on my way back to Hogwarts." I said as if stating the obvious which it pretty much was. "Cause as fun as it is sitting herre and talking to you, I do have better things to do with my life."

"I do believe your missing the point to my statement," I replied. "I was merely (and somewhat vaguely) stating that it would be in your best interest not to tick me off, since I do have a wand at the moment."

Which I thought to myself is a lie. I left it in my room.

I rolled my eyes at Lyssa. "Do you think I really care?" I asked her.

Boredly I looked around the room.

The house was quiet.

"Fine, fine, whatever. I'm not in the mood to deal with you," I said, running my fingers through my hair, and pushing some strands from my eyes.

Then with a sigh I said, "This sucks."

"No kidding." I replied. "You know being taken hostage isn't as interesting as it sounds."

I leaned against the wall, I didn't want to sit back down but I didn't want to stay standing either.

"Well being the one responsible for watching the hostage isn't fun either," I muttered, leaning on the opposite wall, since the entrance way narrowed into a hallway and I was close to it from when I stumbled back.

"Then don't watch me, Im sure I can look after myself." I smiled innocently. Even without a wand, I would find a way to get out of this god forsaken house. I streched my foot out in front of me then the other one. "This place was a heck of a lot funner when we were on holiday."

"As much as I would love to leave you to your own devices I have....instructions to watch you," I said, scowling. "Stupid bastard, always bossing people around." My scowl got deeper.

"So," I then said, "in favor of not standing around in the hallway anymore want to I dunno do something that's not standing in the hallway, make this more sufferable?"

"Course he is, he's the idiot who think he can run the world by telling people to shut up and listen to waht he has to say."

I smiled. This reminded me of when we would just talk about random stuff when we were bored and had nothing else to do.

"Yeah, sure. What?"
