Cassie and Lyssa Alternate Ending 3

I gave a light chuckle. "And you know how I react to people telling me what to do and such, don't you?"

Then I thought for a second for something we could do. I sighed, looking at the floor. "Not much we can do," I muttered. "Well besides talk that is, and I'm sure you don't want to do that."

I smiled at Lyssa. "Yeah I do,"

"I'm with with just talking." I muttered glancing up at her. "I like to talk, you know that." I grinned my eyes twinkling.

I yawned.

"Yeah, I suppose you do," I said. "Well then, rather than talk here or in there," I nodded toward the drawing room, "shall we head to my room where I can flop out on my bed? I'm still somewhat tired."

She nodded and we walked to my room, where I immediately sat down on my bed crossed legged. "Sit somewhere. Not much else to do."

I smiled to myself. Boredom, the number one cure to make you forget there is awar raging outside your house and that your best freind is technecly the enemy.

I smiled and sat down on the floor leaning back onto the wall. I looked around her room, unlike the rest of the house it had actaully changed in the last few years.

"What's got you so smiley?" I asked, a small smile of my own and a raised eyebrow at the look on her face. "Also, why the hell are you sitting on the floor?"

I propped my chin on my elbow, looking at her, when I noticed a small look of disdain when her eyes flickered to my forearm. I looked down. Oh. "Um..." I said feeling sort of awkward all of a sudden. I had forgotten I was even wearing a t-shirt., "is it going to bother you that you can see it?"

I bit my thumbnail a bit.

"The floor is actually quite comfortable weirdly enough."

I shrugged. "Not really, I can live." It didn't actually bother me alot weirdly enough, she hadn't wanted it when she'd gotten it, now actually I wasn't too sure, but I shrugged it off. Now wasn't the time to think about it.

"Ok then. You didn't anwser my first question. Smiley, why?" I said. I looked at her, eyebrow raised.

Then I sighed frustrated. "I've gone and made myself feel all awkward, cuz although you say it doesn't bug you, it does bug me. It just gets rather annoying with the heat and all...."

I frowned slightly. I didn't want to make it all awkward. "I'm weirdly enough enjoying myself." I muttered.

I frowned again when I realised how hungry I was, I hadn't eaten since before the battle at Hogwarts. I didn't remember how long before that it was I had eaten, the battle and argueing with Lyss later had pushed my hunger to a side now it was coming back full force. My head spun slightly and I shut my eyes.

"Well that's an improvement from wanting to hit me I suppose," I muttered.

Then I made a face when Cassie's eyes shut. "Are you ok?" I asked, most assured that she was not ok. But it was the stereotypical question to ask.

"Yeah..maybe...not really." I muttered opening one eye a little then shutting it again, it made me nasues to open my eyes. The longestI had gone before without food was an afternoon and I was famished by then, it had to be more then a day then the last time I had eaten. "Lack of food, sleep and a war don't go well together."

I frowned. "So I'm gathering getting you something to eat would do you some good," I said. I really didn't want to have to call in a house elf, but I had to since I wasn't 'allowed' to leave her alone, and besides if I did she might I don't know pass out from hunger or something and that would be really bad. So I called in a house elf, who nodded when I told her to bring food and disappeared, only to show back up moments later with food, putting the tray she brought it on near Cassie.

"I'm hoping that solves one problem," I said.

"Thanks." I muttered grabbing something off the plate and devouring it in moments. I took something else and opened my eyes, it had stopped spinning well mostly but it wasn't dizzying anymore. "Want something?" I asked Lyssa gesturing to the food. after eating a few more things the spinning stopped altogether. "Well, I feel better now." I muttered.

"Just eat," I muttered when she asked if I wanted anything.

I had since leaned against the pillows at the head of my bed, staring at the ceiling.

"Well good," I said, looking at her when she said she felt better. "I would horribly disappointed if you didn't seeing as that was the purpose of it."

I smiled slightly. "Well whats on the ajenda now?" I asked yawning. "Or shall we just sit here like typical teenages and complain about teenage stuff."

Glancing at my nails I made a face at how long they were. It was weird I hadn't noticed before, long nails bothered me imeansly but maybe it was because I had actually stopped to notice these thigns instead of running about trying to win a war.

"I vote we do typical teenager things, since I'm in no mood to fight with you right now. It's nice being about to relax, you know?" I said quietly. "Even if it's not likely to last long."

I sighed.

"Yeah Relaxing is nice." I agreed and smiled brightly. "Typical teenage thing number one, any ideas?" I asked her. Internally I frowned. Stupid war, stupid Voldemort, it was his bloody fault that our freindship was hanging on by one thread.

I frowned. "No, actually. I have no ideas of what to talk about," I said.

Then I sighed.

"You know what," I said after a moment of silence. "let's just go swimming. We have an indoor pool and stuff."

I smiled brightly. "Brilliant idea, I havn't been swimming in forever."

I stood up and smiled.

We both walked down to the pool.

"I haven't either," I said.

We walked to where the pool was. Once there I stopped and made a face. "I suppose we should find you a swimsuit," I said.

After doing so we got in the pool.

I sat by the edge with my feet dangling in the water. Lyssa sat down next to me. I smiled wickedly grabbed her arm and pushed both of us in, the water was nice and cool, I liked the feeling of water. I choked on some of the water from laughing and swam off to the other side of the pool.

I gave a squeak when Cassie grabbed my arm and I found myself in the water. After shaking it from my eyes, I glared at her, playfully, then swam over to where she was. "What was that about?" I asked laughing a bit, before splashing water at her, "I wasn't quite ready to fall in the water thank you very much."

I thwacked some water back at her laughing. My hair hung wet down onto my shoulders. "Well you'll have to live won't you." My eyes gleamed and I laughed again splashing more water. "Anyway, the water is nice."

I laughed and tried to block the water from hitting my face with my hands, mind you I mostly failed. I splashed her back. "Good or not, it was a rather unwanted rush of cold for a moment there."

I pushed my wet bangs out of my eyes still laughing.

I grinned back at her. "Cold is nice." I dived under water trying to see how far I could last without breathing. I nearly got the whole length before I had to come up for a breath. It reminded me of when I sued to visit or when Lyssa came to my house and we went to the pool. We'd spend half the days in the water just mucking around and playing. Liz would join us sometimes if we were at my house.

I rolled my eyes when Cassie swam away.

I just leaned back on the edge of the pool and kicked my legs about lazily.

Merlin it felt good just to relax and have fun for once.
