Cassie and Lyssa whatever number it is now. (on hold)

At breakfast, Lyssa rested her head on her hand, elbow on the table. She really needed another distraction, like what they had done the night before when they talked back to Snape. It helped serve as a huge reminder that she was stronger than that and could fight back no matter what. Mentally shaking her head, she got something to eat.

Cassie finished her breakfast as professor McGonagall came around and gave out the timetables. She scowled as she saw she had Muggle Studies first. that was a Carrow class. It took her a few moments to realise that she didn't study Muggle Studdies. "Professor?" Cassie said. "I don't study Muggle Studies." "It's compulsury to now." Professor McGonagall said bitterly. "But it's seventh year. No classes are compulsury only ones that we are doing to help us study for out professions." "Don't complain to me Miss Evans, I didn't make the rule. The Headmaster did."

Lyssa waited until McGonagall had moved away before commenting on the new compulsory class. "He didn't make that rule. If anything I bet Voldemort did, and Snape is just saying it was him. He going to use the class to shove his view of Muggles on us," she muttered. "Wouldn't you agree, Cass?"

Cassie scowled. "Great that's just great. Newts coming up and I need to spend time I could use revising listening to Death Eaters telling us how crapp Muggles are." The Gryffindor frowned. "Stupid Voldemort. I have better things to do with my time then ugh." She frowned and shoved her timetable into hre bag in annoyance. "Who the hell takes that class anyway? The only people who really need it are the purebloods and alot of them don't really give a damn about Muggles so they don't care."

"Hey, hey, hey leave the purebloods alone. I used to be one of them you know," Lyssa commented lightly. "Back before I was old enough to question everything Lucius told us, and still somewhat even back before I met you."

"That is why I said alot of them not all of them." Cassie smiled slightly then made a face. "No offence but I don't like your dad." She shrugged and swung out of the chair she was sitting on gesturing to Lyssa that they should make their way to Muggle Studies. "Where the hell is that classroom anyway?" She muttered pulling out her timetable again.

Lyssa gave her a weird look. "Why would it offend me that you don't like Lucius. I not all that particularly fond of him either. And I tell him so on a near regular basis." Lyssa stood up from the chair she was sitting on when Cassie made to get up as well. "No clue where it is. You'd think we'd know after having been here so long wouldn't you...?"

"I remember," Cassie said with a smile. "Our first day here, we got so lost we were late for every class and had to ask Fred and George for directions which actaully im surpirsed they took us to the right class knowing them." Her eyes twinkled at the memories and she shook her head. Cassie looked around as if expecting to see a sign saying. Muggle Studies Well there should be, if it was a compulsory class. Half the student body wouldn't have a clue where it was either. "

"Yeah..." Lyssa agreed to Cassie's comment about the twins. Then she shrugged and sighed. "We're horrid with directions. Shall we start looking?" she suggested. "As much as I would love to purposefully be late, I doubt that would end well."

"We'll probably be late purposley or not." She muttered. "And yeah we are, how came we never see any one else looking for there classroom? Not even the firsties." She frowned. "Prehaps we should ask someone?" She suggested. It took the girls a few minutes to find someone who knew and who would tell them, they half walked half ran to the classroom and were still late anyway by like a minute but like with Snape she doubted the Carrow would care how long they were late by. Late was late.

Lyssa sigh and frowned. "We just fail at this," she muttered as they went through the halls. She was walking at a normal pace, while Cassie seemed to be in a hurry to not be late. Would it really matter if they were or not?

They got the the room and Cassie darted a quick smile at Lyssa before opening the door, she would have been content to jsut slip in the back but as any teacher did they always wanted to know why you were late. The idiot of a Carrow babbled on about something that Cassie didn't listen to, it didn't even go in one ear and out the other it just cirlced her head then dicided it wasn't going to get in.

Lyssa had decided right before walking in the room she wasn't going to listen to a word the Carrow said. Instead, while the Carrow babbled on, Lyssa was content to write notes back and forth with Cassie, mostly making fun of the class and how ridiculous it was.

This is worse then Lockart. Cassie scrawled on a peice of paper and pushed it back across the table to Lyssa. The Carrow walked over moments later and Cassie murmered a small spell that made the paper set fire. She looked up at the Carrow smiling innocently at her. The Carrow said something about something or other that Cassie just ignored.

The rest of the class was just as useless as the beginning of it. Lyssa sighed, relieved when the class was over. It was probably one of the biggest wastes of her time ever. As she cnd Cassie walked out she said, "I don't think I'll be able to sit through a whole year of that."

"Either." Cassie said with a groan. "That's even more boring then defence against the dark arts with Lockart." She sighed and pulled on her timetable. "Transfig, well lets hope McGonagall has something interesting to teach us because Im bored stiff." The Gryffindor yawned proving her point as the girls madetheir way to the transfigeration classroom.

Lyssa gave Cassie an exasperated look. "Don't bring up Lockhart," she said. "I hated him oh so much. Like Umbridge…" She wrinkled her nose. They made it to the Transfig room and sat in the back. McGonagall checked over her role and then started the lesson. According to her, they would be attempting to turn a chair into a puppy.

"Oh she was awful." Cassie agreed shaking her head. After getting the intructions from McGonagall Cassie took out her wand and attempted to turn her chair into a puppy. It half succded on the fifth go with a puppy head and legs but a chair seat in the middle. Cassie frowned in frustration. "Stupid chair-dog thing."

"That is the most interesting puppy I've ever seen," Lyssa commented, looking at Cassie's chair-puppy. Her own was in better shape, though still not perfect. She frowned at it and said the incantation again, trying to get rid of the persistent wood on the bottom of the puppy's paws.

"Yeah, you can sit on it." Cassie said smiling wickedly. She murmed the incantation again which succeded in doing nothing what so ever. "I give up." She muttered scowling at the chair. "This stupid dog-chair thing is stubborn. Doens't want to work."

Lyssa checked the bottom of the paws and smiled. The wood was gone. "Well there's that!" she said, feeling pleased with herself over it. Then she looked over at Cassie, who was having no luck. "Major issues?" she asked, petting her puppy.

Scowling Cassie gave up and sat down on the seat on her puppy. "I think I prefer it with a seat." She said irritbly

Lyssa smiled and laughed. "Don't squish the poor thing," she said trying to stop laughing more. "It looks like it's about to collapse. Remember it does have puppy legs..."

Cassie jumped up quickly and looked down at her puppydog thing. She sighed and ran a hand through her hair. The class ended some time later and the girls left the classroom, Cassie stillwaht annoyed at her puppy that didn't want to change into a full puppy.

As they were walking to their third class of the day (Potions) Lyssa was trying to make Cassie not feel so annoyed at not getting the puppy thing to work. "Just practice it?" she suggested once Cassie stopped grumbling on about her puppy thing. "I could help if you'd like...?"
