Cassie and Lyssa whatever number it is now. (on hold)

"Well then....at least a backup plan in case the lack of a plan goes horribly horribly wrong, as it might, seeing as we aren't Fred and George," Lyssa replied with a slight frown. "We should most definitely write them. I bet they would love to hear what we're doing, and I miss them anyway."

"Back up plan hrm..." Cassie mused. "Act like Gryffindors? That would annoy Snape." Her eyes glimmered darkly as her smile broadened. "And yes, I vote we write to them after classes today as the bell is going to go soon and I don't think we'd manage to write a letter and get to the owlery before class starts but then we'd be late for defence which might anger the Carrow..." He eyes gleamed again and she pulled parchment and a quill out of her bag.

"Genius you are," Lyssa commented with a stifled yawn. "I'm all for being late, although I would also love to include details of what happens in the letter, so -even though you already have the stuff to write out- I think we should wait."

Cassie shrugged and shoved the stuff back in her bag. "I vote we're late anyway," She grinned. "We can take a step every five seconds and get there like ten minutes late." The bell rang and Cassie yawned. "Or we could loung here for another ten minutes then slowly waltz to class. I vote the latter."

"Yeah," Lyssa nodded, leaning against the trunk of the tree more and closing her eyes lightly, "I agree. Although, why just ten minutes? Why not fifteen? I like fifteen better." She smirked slightly as she listend to the sounds of all the other (lame) people on their way to class.

Cassie laughed loudly and gained some odd looks. "I do quite like your thinking," She smiled broadly and swung her legs. Fifteen minutes later the girls were walking through the empty hallways on their way to Defence against the dark arts. "Ah my shoe is undone." Cassie proclaimed dumping her bag on the floor and doing it up.

"Hm," Lyssa muttered as Cassie tied her shoe, "well I think there's at least another five minutes we'll be late. Don't you think?" They stalled a bit longer, but alas finally reached the classroom. "After you," Lyss said, gesturing for Cassie to go in.

Cassie rolled her eyes smiling amusedly and entered theclassroom. "If you insist." She said shutting the door behind them. "Where have you girls been?" The guy Carrow demanded. "In the school?" Cassie suggested. "On our way to Defence against the Dark arts."

'Which just so happens to be where we are now," Lyssa went on. "See we're late because....well there were extenuating circumstances as to why we're late, but I'm sure you'd rather not stand there and listen to us prattle on about something when you have something you think is important, although in actuality it's not too important. Oh, sorry am I prattling?"

Cassie snickered softly. "It would appear you are Lyss," She said her eyes gleaming as she survayed the class. "Which is really a pity, Becaue you happen to be taking the spotlight from the Professor here when he is trying to teach the class something."

"Oh," Lyssa faked a tad bit of something emotion or another (can't think of it) and looked at her feet, looking as though she felt bad, although really she was hiding her smirk. "Sorry Professor, I didn't mean to steal the spotlight from you as you were trying to teach something."

"It would be a pity really. Oh I do believe I am repeating myself, sorry Sir." She glanced at her feet sheepishly before sneaking a glance at the Carrow who was absolutly fumming. "I recon we've nealy pushed him." She whispered under her breath then added in a stage whisper. "Prehaps we should stop talking Lyss, we seem to be upsetting him and that's the last thing I want to do."

"I agree," Lyssa said at the same volume Cassie had commented with. "I think we should go sit down before we make it any worse." Then she looked up at the Carrow, who looked extremely angry. "Sorry Professor," she said, not bothering to hide her smirk now, which was sure to make him more mad.

Cassie snickered which just brought the Carrow over the edge. "The two of you will accompany me to the Headmasters office now." He said walking to the door. "But that would make you miss more of your lesson," Cassie said in a concerned voice. "We don't want you to miss more of it on our behalf,"

"It's not right of you to deprive the other students from their education on our behalf," Lyssa went on. "That's completely unfair to them, as well as you really, because you're not getting to teach, although now that I think about it that's not such a bad thing."

The Carrow glowered at them. "Now," "If you insist Sir." She said and followed him out of the room flashing a smile at Lyssa as she came too. The Carrow led them to the headmasters office gave the password and led them up.

Lyssa sighed and decided that the walk to the headmaster's office was too quiet so she thought of something to say. "You know...." she started lightly looking at the Carrow, "you, your sister, and Snape have tempers that are way too short." The Carrow shot her a glare, but didn't say anything as they reached the gargoyle in front of the office. The Carrow told it the password and then led them up the stairs to the door.

Cassie snickered softly and sighed as they were led into the office. Snape's eyebrows rose as he saw them. "Didn't think you'd be seeing us so soon did you professor?" Cassie asked with a slight tilt on her head. "We apologise for wasting your time but Carrow here insisted we accompany him to the headmasters office." She shrugged as if to say. Not my fault.

"And in turn Carrow is also wasting his time," Lyssa said. "He has a class to be teaching and is instead here, thus wasting an inexplicably amount of precious time that can never be bought back." She gave Snape a matter-of-fact look.

Cassie held her laughter back as she looked up at the old Potions Professor. They had never really gotten on but that was probably because they were Gryffindors and he was head of Slytherin if anything, now it was because he was a Death Eater and didn't deserve to be Headmaster.

Lyssa smiled to herself and looked over at Cassie. Maybe not having a plan was best. It was certainly turning out for the better, or well for the funner. Snape didn't say anything for a moment, dismissing the Carrow to go back to his class. Then he turned to the two girls who had been brought into the office for the second time in two days.

Cassie smiled innocently up at the headmaster a smirk playing on the edge of her mouth. She chanced a glance around the room more at the Portraits on the walls. The majority of them were sleeping or faking sleep, Cassie noticed that a few opened their eyes an inch and saw Cassie looking at them and quickly shut their eyes again. Cassie rolled her eyes and glanced at Dumbledore, she was afraid of what she would see in his eyes, he looked thoughtful and wasn't looking at her but at Severus as if trying to send him some silent message. She frowned and turned back to the Headmaster.

"Ten points from Gryffindor each for disrupting class," He said sofly his face showing no emotion. "And you will both get a weeks worth of detension." Cassie snorted. "You'd have to drag us there Professor, we've done nothing wrong except be a few minutes late to class and apologise to Professor Carrow that we weredisturning his class. I see no rule breaking in that, do you Professor?"

Snape scowled at her for a moment. Lyssa smirked at Cassie's genius logic. "She does have a very valid point," Lyssa commented. "That's all we were doing. You can't really give us detentions and take points away for us being polite. That's negative reinforcement after all."

"I can and I will," He said annoyance radiating off him. "But it's illogic," Cassie protested feeling slightly like a whining kid. "But then," She shrugged. "Slytherin's never play fair I don't see why their head of house would." She smiled as his eyes flashed angrily.

Snape frowned at the two girls. "You two could do with learning some manners," he said. Lyssa rolled her eyes. "My manners are planty fine," she replied.
