Cassie and Lyssa whatever number it is now. (on hold)

Lyssa shrugged. "I don't care either way what he makes us do or who takes over as best of the class. As long as someone blows something up..." She grinned, since that's what she always said about potions. They reached the dungeons and walked in the classroom, sitting at their usual table in the back of the room.

"Pity Snape is no longer teaching the class, I'm in the mood to ruin his day and blowing up potions would do that." She grinned wickedly as they entered the classroom and took a seat in the middle but closer to the back then to the front of the middle. If that makes any sense.

"Oh yes," Lyssa agreed, "that would've been lovely to do. Although, I'm not against exploding them on purpose even though it's only Slughorn. I don't quite like him either as you very well know." She hid a smile as Slughorn came in, planning to do just that.

Cassie's eyes gleamed. "I do quite like your thinking." She smiled. Slughorn came in and told them what they were making. Cassie stood up to get the ingrediants while Lyssa set the caldroen up and the flame and the other stuff. Cassie dumped the ingrediants on their bench and looked over the instructions.

"My thinking is great," Lyss replied as Cassie went to get the ingredients for the potion of the day, while she set up everything else. When Cassie came back she asked quietly so Slughorn wouldn't hear her. "So how to make this explode, and the better question, whose potion to explode?"

Cassie grinned and held out her hand. "Neville stuffed his caldron first lesson of first year putting these in when it was still on the fire. So I vote weuse them." Her eyes gleamed. "I vote an annoying Slytherin or Lavender and Pavati."

"You still remember something from way back in first year?" Lyssa asked shocked, then she grinned. "Lavender and Parvati of course. Would you like the honor of doing it?" she said, looking over at the two girls.

"Course I don't, I wrote it in my potions book if case I needed to come back to it." She smiled again. "Sure," Cassie picked it up and looked around to see where Professor Slughorn was, in the process of telling off one of the Slytherins. Cassie threw it and snickered quietly before starting hr and Lyssa's potion.

Lyssa stared at Cassie. "You are one of the oddest people I have ever met..." she said with a slight laugh. Then she yawned for a second, having not slept all that well the night before. She grabbed something or other and started cutting it for the potion, just waiting for the impending explosion.

Cassie snickered again as she heard a bang and a squeel. "What happened Lavender?" She asked her innocently. "My potions exploded." Came the shrill reply as the girls scrambled back away from their potions. "That's a pity." Cassie muttered holding back her laughter.

Lyssa snickered slightly when the potion exploded and the two girls squealed, moving back from the remains. "That's really unfortunate guys," she commented lightly, fighting not to smile amused in their direction.

Lyssa took the thing, hiding her smile as it grew just a little bigger. She looked around the room for someone's potion to explode. Aha! Pansy! The perfect candidate for an exploding potion. Unfortunately, she was too far away just to chuck it in, but she was on the way to the ingredients cabinet so all Lyss had to do was walk by and drop it in. And if she got caught she could just say she was getting something on from the cabinet. Excellent.

Cassie bit her lip to stop herself laughing when Lyssa walked past Pansy and dropped it in Pansy's potions. Lyssa came back and sat down rivght when the potion exploded and Pansy shriked and jumped back in her seat. "What happened Parkinson?" Cassie taunted. "Don't know how to make asimple potion?"

Pansy turned to glare at Cassie, but it seemed as though she couldn't think of a smart remark and thusly kept her mouth shut as Slughorn walked over to her and started berating her for making the same mistake the other girls had. Lyssa had to fight laughing. "Maybe, back in first year, the twins were right. Mini thems."

Cassie laughed at Pansy then at Lyssa's comment. "Maybe," She grinned. "I can see why they did what they did so, this is so much fun." Professor slughorn came around them and scolded them for having done about nothing on their potion. Cassie shrugged as the Professor walked off. "I'llgo better in the exams, I'm usually quite good at potions." She smied.

"Yeah," Lyssa agreed with her. Then she had to fight smiling when Slughorn went on about them having nothing done with their own potion. Of course they didn't. They were having too much fun messing up other people's. After he walked off she said, "Yeah...but when you get to Transfiguration on the other hand..."

Cassie smiled and mixed her potion. "Yeah well... I guess I'll have to study for that one." She shrugged looking over the instructions and doing the next one. The bell rang shortly after and the girls left to go to recess. They sat outside in the courtyard. "I'm bored..." Cassie muttered staring out into the grounds.

"I am too," Lyssa responded as she pulled herself up into a nearby tree and settled on a wide-ish branch, leaning back on the trunk. Tapping her fingers on her leg while she tried to think of something to do that would cure the boredom she started to hum.

Cassie laughed at her humming best freind. "Do we have Defence today?" She asked her looking up at the tree. "Cause I feel like annoying the Carrows," She shrugged. "Or Snape, but we'd have to annoy the Carrows first to get to Snape..."

"Dunno," Lyss responded. "It's not like I've memorized the schedule yet...I'm not a Ravenclaw...." She smirked. "But yeah, that would be quite a bit of fun to do. Let's see..." She reached for her bag, which was hanging on a smaller branch next to her, nearly falling from the tree as she did so, to look at the schedule. Her eyes scanned over it for a moment. "As it just so happens. We do have Defense today! Right after break is over."

Cassie grinned broadly. "Great, lets annoy the living hell out of the Carrow, and then if the Carrow takes us to Snape, annoy the living hell out of him." She grinned again. "And thats the plan," She winked and climbed up the tree and sat next to Lyssa.

"Wonderful. We have a plan," Lyssa said, with a slight sarcastic note. "Now all we need are details to the plan and then there's the waiting for break to end so we can put it in action." She sighed and made a face, returning the schedule to her bag.

Cassie grinned impishly. "Details aren't important." She said with a wave of her hand. "We're one step ahead then Fred and George they never had a plan but then that was quite awesome of them if they didn't have a plan..." She frowned slightly. "We should write to them sometime." She concluded.
