Cass and Lyss (The Summer between years one and two)

"Probably"Cassie said a slight frown. "She did seem kind of put off at the start of the year when I found out about Hogwarts.:

"She probably thinks it's not fair that you can do magic, but she can't. After all she is the older one."

"Yeah," Said Cassie with another frown. "I kinda miss being in the same school as her though, even if half the teachers got our names mixed up." Cassie rolled her eyes.

"You two are nothing alike, how did they mix you two up?"

"No idea, though I got used to it." She shook erh head. "It would be a 'Lizzie.' 'Yes? And I'm Cassie.' Kind of thing." She rolled her eyes slightly.

"That sounds like it could get annoying. Thankfully me and Draco are fraternal(?) twins, or I guess that would happen to us more."

"Hrm," Cassie said. The game ended with Cassie getting absolutly slaughtered and Cassie sighed as she looked at the peices. "I suckat chess."

"Or maybe I'm just exceptionanlly good."

Cassie laughed. "No I suck, everyone beats me. Though I did beat one of my little cousins once but he was like five years younger so he doesn't count.."

"Fine, just go and ruin my fun..." Lyssa muttered crossing her arms.

"I will," Cassie told her with a smile.

"So mean..." Lyssa pouted.

Cassie grinned at her.

They played chess a couple of more times, then gave up on it going on to do other things. The next day Lyssa frowned as Cassie suggested they try out some Muggle games. "But I'm going to be dreadful at them," she protested.

"COme on," Cassie said with a smile. "It'll be fun! You'll get to learn new games and that, and they aren't that hard. Easier then chess."

Lyssa frowned at her. "If you say so, although I think you're just looking for a safe excuse to laugh at me later."

Cassie rolled her eyes and went to get her pack of cards off her desk. She dealed Lyssa seven cards, herself seven and spread the rest over the floor inbetween them. "Alright," She said. "THis game is called go fish. You need to get four of each card. When you do you put it down. At the end the person with the most cards putdown wins. The way you get four of a card is, you have a card in your deck and you ask me if I have it. If I do you get my card and get to go again. If I don't I say go fish and you pick up one of the cards in the middle and it's my turn. ANy questions?"

"None that I can think of at the moment," Lyssa answered, "since I'm assuming I can look at my cards, as I have to ask you for them, even though you've neglected to say if I can or not." She shrugged lightly.

Cassie shrugged glancing at her cards. She didnt have any pairs to start off with."Do you have a king?"

Lyssa looked down at the cards she had picked up. "Nope, got a," she looked at the card to find what it was, "5?"

Cassie picked up a card off of the floor making a face as the one she had picked upwas a five. She flicked it at Lyssa, whcih failed as the card did some fancy turn and floated back to her.

Lyssa took the five, and so the game progressed on, until she got bored with it. "This is redundant," she whined.

Cassie smiled slightly pushed the cards off to the side, she'd pick them up later. "Alright, next game." She grabbed a few peices of paper and a pen. "Hangman, you chose a word. and put a line for each letter, I need to guess the letters. If I get a right letter it gets put down on the lines. If I get it wrong you start to build a hangman thing." Cassie drew it. "For every wrong letter or guess of word another section is added. You win by getting the word right and lose if the whole person and hanging thing is drawn."

Lyssa's eyebrows furrowed. "That sounds oddly violent, fake or not." She thought for a moment. "Can you pick a word first, so that I can see how it works completely? And be nice and don't pick Muggle things, because I would never get those, and you very well know it." She ignored the feeling that built up inside her at those words. Lyssa did not like not knowing things, and here she was, looking at these games as curiously and confused as a small child first learning them.

Cassie got the peice of paper and put 8 dashes across the buttom of the age. She looked at Lyssa. "Alright," She said. "Chose a letter. I recomend going through the vowls first."
