Cass and Lyss (The Summer between years one and two)

Lyssa nodded at Cassie, looking at the little blanks. "Vowels first, so a, e, i, o, and u." She looked at the other girl.

Cassie filled in the blanks that needed filling and did a fewlines of the hangman post. Shethen looked at Lyssa again.

Lyssa looked at the remaining blanks, considering frequently used letters in the alphabet. "Erm...s, t, r, m."

Cassie filled in the spaces and added more hangman lines to it.

Lyssa looked at the remaining blanks with a frown. "That looks like...Hogwarts?"

Cassie nodded at her. "It's harder having to do wizarding things." She said with a slight frown. "THough I could just do random words, not for objects or anything." Cassie shrugged again.

Lyssa shrugged. "I'd find wizarding things easier, because I grew up with them, but I can see why you'd have a harder time with them. Maybe this isn't a very good game for us to be playing, since we each know so much that the other person doesn't know."

"Hrm," Cassie said with a slight frown. "I suppose hangman is kind of hard." She sighed pushing the paper to the side with the all of the cards.

Lyssa frowned. "What else is there?"

"Checkers?" Cassie asked paddng around her room lookng for her board, she found it under her bed and pulled it out dumping it on the floor.

"Depends, is it easy?" Lyssa asked. "Because all this learning is making my brain go spinny."

"Easier then chess," Cassie said sitting back down. She set the peices out. "Alright, they move diagon, and to take a peice you need to jump over them. Aim of game to take all of the opositions peices."

Lyssa shrugged. "Sounds easy enough." She watched as Cassie set up the board.

Cassie moved her peice, she wasn't that fond of checkers. It was an alright game but meh.

The game carried on, until Cassie won, although that didn't surprise Lyssa any. She'd managed to confuse herself several times during the game.

Cassie shoved that game to the side also, knowing she'd have a lot to pick up later but right now she did not care. The next game she got out was uno and she explained it to Lyss, as Cj can not be bothered writing her actually explaining it.

Lyssa fell back after Cassie stopped explaining. "Can we skip this one? It sounds really confusing and long and boring."

Cassie sighed. "If you want to, though Uno's fun." She shrugged.

Lyssa shook her head. "No, no, let's skip it." Inwardly, she couldn't help but think all Muggle games were boring, or at least the ones she'd played. It was nothing like wizards chess, or Exploding Snap.

Cassie shrugged. She personally rathered liked snap. She got out another game, explaining the rules. And looked at Lyssa, wondering what she was thinking about the muggle games.
