New RP 1 (Expelled) (yes, fail title, but it makes it obvious)

Cassie shrugged again not knowing what to say, though winced at the slight pain that movement brought. She decided that whatever the spell had been that it wasn't pleasent and most definetly dark magic, as it results were still lingering a day or so after.

They were both quiet for a little while, until Lyssa said, "You know, our friendship breaks all sorts of unwritten rules. Ever since...ya know." She motioned vaguley to her tie, which was now laying on the little table by the bed Cassie was on.

"Yeah.." Cassie said with a sigh. "I think I've calmed down enough now." She said completly out of the blue. "I miss being about you."

Lyssa smiled softly. "Well I would hope you'd have calmed down, especially after what you did yesterday," she said. Then she sighed. "I miss being in Gryffindor. The Malfoy me was messed in the head, I think, to want in Slytherin. And I doubt there's a way to switch back..."

Cassie just looked at her. "Wear Gryffindor colours anyway, go back to the common room. Who cares if it's offical? Well officaslly you are a Gryffindor because that's what you were first put it." Her eyes glimmered faintly. "Who cares what Snape has to say about it. He can go to hell for all I care."

Lyssa shrugged a little bit and sighed, leaning her head back to look at the ceiling. "Firstly, none of my stuff in Gryffindor colored anymore. Secondly, it would a pain to move all my stuff back. Thirdly, I dunno but there should be a third one."

"Firstly," Cassie replied almost instantly. "Have my uniform, I never wear it anyway. Secondly, who cares if it's a pain you'd prefer to be in Gryffindor wouldnt you? Thirdly, yeah you're right it sounds better with a thirdly."

"Well if you want to tote my stuff up nine flights of stairs be my guest," Lyssa said. "Because that is way too much work. And besides, you might have forgiven me, but I'm sure not everyone has. And don't say they can deal with it."

"But they can deal with it." Cassie muttered. "I'm lonely," She whined at her freind with a slight pout.

"I want to," Lyssa said. "Really I do, but them being angry is the reason I left in the first place." Then her eyebrows pulled together. "Did I just remember something?"

Cassie sighed and leaned back onto the head of the bed, having been sitting upright for a little while.

A couple of more weeks passed and one day Lyssa bounced (almost literally) over to Cassie. "I remember everything now!" Then she quickly soberred up. "I was so dreadful. I'm sorry."

Cassie who had been out of the Hospital wings for a few days by the time that Lyssa came bouncing up to her. Cassie kind of just shrugged not too sure of what to say exactly, though after anawkward moment of looking at her feet she said. "I forgive you."

Lyssa frowned. "You shouldn't forgive me. You're just too forgiving sometimes. I mean, yeah things have been calm for a while, but now that I know what I did, I don't think things should have. I honestly think that you should hate me, because I did really awful things." Then she stopped for a second. "I'm feeling guilty for things again, aren't I?"

"Lyssa, it's not that I forgive easily. It's more that I get over some things quickly. I've gotten over my annoyance at you so stop being so hard on yourself."

"I can't just stop, Cass. Now that I'm know first-hand what happened, I think I need to feel bad about it for a little while, since that me didn't. Just let me have that. Then I promise, I'll let it go."

A few days or so passed and the two girls were walking down the halls to erm..charms when they noticed Lucius heading in the way of the headmasters office. Which would mean that he'd have to walk past them, and notice them. Cassie frowned.

Lyssa had noticed her father walking, in their general direction at that, and bit her lip. A part of her hoped he noticed the lion pin on her shirt, but another part wasn't ready to piss him off that much. Although, she had a feeling that he would be anyway.

"Hello Lucius, how are you today?" Cassie asked in a pleasent voice as he noticed the two girls. His face darkened considerably and ignoring Cassie he turned to Lyssa. "Melyssa," He said. "I have had enough of your antics, you are coming back to the Manor with me now." "fine," Cassie muttered grumpily under her breath. "Don't reply. I was only being polite."

Lyssa looked at Lucius confused. "What antics?" she asked. "I haven't done anything."

"Your memory charm wasn't quite as succesful as you would have liked." Cassie frowned at this, wondering what memory charm he was talking about. She supposed it had happened when she was unconious.

Lyssa merely shrugged. "It was worth a shot for a spell that I'd never done before in my life. How long did it last per chance?"

After a small bit of bickering Lucius seemed to be running out of pateience. "Come on," He said. "And this is your last chance. If you don't come with me now willingly you are not coming back to Hogwarts at all."

"Why do I need to leave at all?" Lyssa asked, looking at Lucius with curious eyes. "If this is still about my memory, well it's all come back now."

"Because the condition in which I allowed you to come back was that you were acting like a proper Malfoy. Which you have not been."
