New RP 1 (Expelled) (yes, fail title, but it makes it obvious)

Lyssa frowned. She didn't like that she would have to wait to know just how Cassie was doing. "Fine," she said begrudgingly. "But I'm not leaving until she's awake." Then Lyssa looked around for a second, spotting a chair nearby. She walked to it and sat down, crossing her arms and daring anyone to try and make her move.

McGonagall smiled softly as she walked out of the room, going to start correcting the work that her fifth year students had given in earlier that day.

Cassie woke sometime later, her body aching all over. Her head pounding and she felt somewhat sick. She opened her eyes but closed them almost a moment later, the bright white of the hospital wing burned her eyes.

Lyssa, who was still in her chair though situated more comfortably now that she'd curled up in it, was looking around the room when she noticed Cassie's eyes do their flicker open then shut thing. She turned her a attention to the girl. "Cass?" she said, tentatively.

Cassie made a noise that didn't really sound like anything but she was tired and didn't feel up to making something coherent. She opened her eyes again gingerly blinking a few times to try and get her eyes used to the light so it wasn't as painful.

Lyssa looked at Cassie, not knowing if she felt relief that she was awake now, or if she felt worried about her condition. It seemed like a nice mixture of both. Noticing that the light seemed to be hurting Cassie's eyes when she opened them, Lyssa used her wand to dim the light a little bit.

(let's just say it's night now so lamps are on)

Cassie was releived when the lights had been dimmed. "Bleck," she mumbled making a face at both how weak her voices sounded and at the pain she still felt.

Lyssa uncurled herself from the chair, standing and stretching her legs. "Be right back," she said, walking over to the nurse's office and knocking on the door. Once she got a reply, she opened it and stuck her head it. "Er...Cassie's awake."

Cassie nodded and soon enough Lyssa and the Mantron came back. "Alright Miss Evans, what hurts?" "Everything." Cassie replied. "That's not very suspific." "But it's true." The Matron sighed and continued asking Cassie questions relating to what the pain felt like and where it was and other stuff like that.

Lyssa settled back into her chair, waiting rather impatiently for the nurse to finish up so that she could know how Cassie was doing and what was going to happen. And then, once the nurse left again Lyssa planned to apologize for what had happened, even if she hadn't personally done it.

The Matron left after giving Cassie something for the pain, which didn't kill it completly but dulled it considerably. Cassie also found out she had a lump on her head which was probably from getting bashed into a wall and the matron said she was probably lucky that she hadn't cracked her skull.

Once the nurse was gone back into her office, Lyssa looked at Cassie. With a deep sigh she said, "I'm sorry."

"Not your fault."Cassie muttered at the roof as she didn't want to move her head. "I was the one who punched him in the face." She sighed .

Lyssa shrugged. "That doesn't matter. The reason he was even here in the first place is because of me. If he hadn't been here, it wouldn't have happened. So, I'm apologizing as is proper. Please don't fight with me about this."

Cassie wanted to continue argueing but it would end up making her headache come back which was not something that she wanted.

Eventually, as it was night by now, Lyssa started to get tired. She yawned a little bit.

Cassie drifted off back to sleep sometime later but awoke a few times in the night because of pain and other random reasons.

Lyssa just ended up falling asleep in the chair, not wanting to bother walking down five flights of stairs to get to her bed.

(I'm using the GB version of Hogwarts. Hospital=Fourth floor)

Cassie woke the next morning feeling somehwat better then the night before but not by an awful lot. She wondered what the heck the spell Lucius had done was, it was painful and she wondered if it had any lasting damage if it was cast for a long time.

When Lyssa woke up the first thing she noticed was that her back, neck, and knees all felt particularly sore and painful from her sleeping in the chair. As Lyssa unbent her knee she frowned as they hurt a little bit. Then standing up she stretched, which succeeded in making her back pop.

Cassie attempted to sit up as she didn't really like looking at the roof. After some trouble the girl managed.

After having worked out a little muscle soreness, Lyssa turned to Cassie. "How are you feeling now?" she asked.

"Been better," Cassie said with a small yawn, she wondered why she was still tired. Having slept through the night and most of the day before. "Been worse too actually, so not too bad."

Lyssa just nodded somewhat unsure of what to say. Fiddling with her school tie, which had come loose during the night, Lyssa said finally, "I don't want to go to classes. What kind of friend would I be if I left you here?"

Cassie shrugged. "You're welcome to stay." She said. "I'm not going anywhere."

"Lovely," Lyssa commented, sitting back down. "Although this place could do with some more comfortable chairs." She got comfortable in the chair and then looked thoughtful for a moment. "Draco's probably wondering where I am...."
