Cassie and Lyssa Year Six.

Lyssa gave Cassie a small smile. "Thanks, but that doesn't solve the detention problem..."

"I suppose you're just going to need to go. I have my last one tonight then you have tonight and two more." Cassie frowned and yawned. "Seeya later don't wanna be late." She rolled her eyes and set off.

Lyssa nodded at Cassie, then sat up slowly, steadying herself with her hand as she swayed. Then she reached the end of her bed and opened her trunk up to get her books out. She wasn't leaving her bed, but she's wasn't going to be lazy either, no matter how much her body wanted to go back to sleep.

"Lyssa Malfoy," Cassie said coming into the common room to check on her freind. "I do not care how much you fon't want my help and say you are fine. You are going to get back into that dorm and go to sleep."

Lyssa frowned at Cassie. "I am fine. What happened yesterday was nothing."

"Oh yes," Cassie said. "Falling in a dead fiant is nothing."

"It was nothing. I was just a little over-tired.." Lyssa muttered, knowing she was going to lose the argument anyway.

"A little?" Cassie asked her. "You slept from ten in the morhning to 7 the next morning."

Lyssa frowned. "Cassie, just let it go? Please? Look, if it happens again then I'll go see the nurse and get her help about it. Sound good?"

"No cause I don't want it to happen again Lyss, you need to stop overworking yourself it isn't helping anyone"

Lyssa sighed. "If I go to her now, will you get off my case about it?"

Cassie nodded at her. "Anyway, I need to get back to class." She made a face.

"Well, you can't expect me to be able to get there on my own, can you?" Lyssa said, raising her eyebrow at Cassie. "It'll get you from class for a little while...?"

Cassie smiled. "Right sorry, come on." She helped Lyssa up and the two of them made their way towards the hospital wing

Upon getting there, the nurse (her name escapes me. it's nearly 3am) came over to them. "What seems to be the problem?" she asked, noting how Cassie was basically supporting Lyssa, who seemed ready to collapse again. Stairs were horrid when you were exhausted.

"Lyss hasn't really been sleeping well and she's kind of exhusted.." Cassie said looking at the Matron. "I need to be getting back to class excuse me." "Wait a minute Miss Evans." Cassie turned back. "Minerva told me you were interested in becoming a healer, do you want to have some training with me?" Cassie nodded. "that would be lovely, thanks." he Mantron nodded and then turned back to lyssa.

Once Cassie was gone, Lyssa was made to lay on one of the beds in the hospital wing, while the nurse lady went to get something. She came back a moment later with some potions. Lyssa looked at them skeptically. "This one," the nurse picked up a blue potion handing it to Lyssa who drank it," is to keep you from dreaming. This one," she picked up a green on, doing the same as before, "is so that you can get a restful sleep. And the last one," the pink potion on the tray," is to help you get to sleep." Lyssa took all the potions and then with a yawn, settled on the pillows, falling asleep quickly, hoping to feel better when she woke back up.

Cassie made her way back to class worried and gleeful. She was worried about Lyssa and hoped that her freind got better soon. Though it would probably mean missing the detension that night which would mean she would have three on her own and gleeful because of the opertunity to learn some healing with the matron which would help her become a healer as that was what Cassie wanted to be.

Lyssa yawned as she woke up. She didn't know if it was the potions are her extended amount of sleep, but she felt way better now. Opening her eyes a little bit, she blinked and looked around. She was still at the hospital wing, and apparently had been all day if the dark sky outside the window was an indication.

Cassie came up and visited Lyssa before her detension but the girl was sleeping so Cassie just let her sleep. Professor Snape told Cassie to tell Lyssa that she had another detension for missing that one. Which mean that she had three on her own now. Cassie sighed as she walked back up to Gryffindor tower, the mantron wouldn't allow her in at this time.

The next day Lyssa was allowed to leave the hospital wing, but not until after classes, so now she was three days behind. She spent the day napping on and off, so as to continue catching up on sleeping. Once she was finally allowed to leave, she headed for the common room, since that was probably where Cassie was at the moment.

"You look better," Cassie noted when Lyssa entered the common room later that day. She looked down at her homework and scribbled an answer for one of the questions, it was probably wrong as she only half read the question.

Lyssa smiled a little bit at Cassie. "I feel a ton better," she said as she sat down on the couch and looked at the clock. She frowned. "I'm going to take a wild guess and say I have detention in about twenty minutes..."

"Yeah," Cassie said with a slight frown. "You probably won't be doing much though." She shrugged giving her homework an irritated look before scrawling an answer that probably didn't make much sense.

Lyssa frowned. "Just how far behind have I fallen in classes?" she asked, watching the clock. It wouldn't do to be late to detention after she'd missed two already.
