Cassie and Lyssa Year Six.

Cassie frowned slightly. "That's a good idea I suppose." She shrugged sitting back down on the couch with a frown.

With a heavy sigh, as she had been incredibly comfortable, Lyssa got up to go over to a table and get her homework out.

Cassie worked on hers for a bit but she found that she couldn't really concertrate at her mind kept wandering. She sighed at it shoving it back into her bag, vouching to do it later and leaned back into the chair she was siting in.

Lyssa worked on the essay she'd fallen asleep doing the night before. It was far from finished and she needed to at the very least get one assignment off her plate for now. She sighed and yawned, fighting the want to sleep. She was truly and honestly exhausted, but was fighting it and doing her best not to show it outwardly, lest Cassie notice.

Cassie shut her eyes with a sigh thinking over what had happened in the last hour or so letting the thoughts play acorss her mind and hopefully bring some sense.

Lyssa finished the one assignment, near ready to just pass out on the table from tiredness again. She got up to go back over to the couch, but nearly stumbled as her eyelids drooped. If they had been in class like they were meant to, Lyssa would be sleeping and so wouldn't have this problem, but they weren't.

"Go rest Lyss," Cassie said looking up from the book she had grabeed after offially deceding that she wasn't going to go to classes that day, she wasn't in the mood and could really not be bothered.

"I'm fine," Lyssa protested uselessly, as she fell back into a chair, not entirely of her own doing. She gave Cassie a tired smile, feeling the late nights of the last few weeks catching up to her finally.

Cassie shook. "Lyssa," She said half softly half sternly. "You need to rest and sleep before you fall over."

Lyssa half-glared at Cassie, since her eyes were half-closed. "I said I'm fine," she muttered. "Couldn't sleep properly anyway. Haven't been able to for a while now." Then she frowned, thinking of the nightmares she'd been having since she learned what Draco had to do.

"Lyssa," Cassie said in a dark tone. "Unless you want me to drag you to your room you are going to go up there and rest." She gave Lyssa a look that told her she meant it. "And I don't think those stairs are very soft."

"Cassie, I can't!" Lyssa all but snapped at the other girl.

"Lyssa, your personal health is more important then your fricken schoolwork."

Lyssa frowned at Cassie, getting easily irritable in her tired state. "It has nothing to do with my damned schoolwork!" she half snapped, half yelled. "It's because every time I close my eyes, they just open again from the nightmares!"

"Then get some dreamless potion from the matron," Cassie snapped back exasperated. "You need rest Lyss otherwise you're going to colopse."

"No," Lyssa snapped back. "I'm just fine on my own! I don't need any help!"

"Ugh fine," Cassie snapped grabbing her bag off of the floor. She strolled out of the common room and taking care not to run into any teachers made her way outside.

Lyssa frowned after Cassie, and made to get up to leave the common room as well, since she felt that a walk would calm her irritation down and help her wake up a little bit. She stood from the chair, only the have small dots cloud her vision for a moment. Maybe, Cassie was right? She didn't have time to ponder it as her exhausted body finally decided to hell with her decisions and fell asleep without her consent, causing Lyssa to sway on her feet and then stumble a little, which resulted in her falling to the floor with a light thud.

Cassie came back to the common room sometime later and sighed seeing Lyssa lying on the ground. "Honestly," She said using her wand to levitate the girl up to their dorm and onto the bed.

Lyssa didn't so much as stir until the next morning, her exhaustion finally having gotten the better of her. Upon waking, she noticed she was in her bed for the first time in a while. Then she groaned. Now she was probably even more behind in homework, since she had all of the assignments from the previous day to make up. She had also missed that night's detention...

"Morning," Cassie said upon seeing that Lyssa was awake. "Oh and Snape says you have abother det for missing last nights, not that anything actually happened." The girl shrugged as she got out of bed and started to get ready.

Lyssa yawned and groaned at the same time, rolling over and savorying the feeling of her bed. It was way nicer than the table. Then she ran her hand through her hair, not wanting to get up. She was actually still rather exhausted.

Cassie ran a brush through her hair nd then chucked it back into her case grabbing her shoes.

Lyssa looked up at Cassie from where she was still laying in her bed. "'m not going to class," she mumbled. "I feel half-dead right now..."

"Mkay," Cassie said slidding on her shoe's. "I'll tell the teachers, we don't have Defence today so that's good."
