Some Things Are Easier Said Then Done

Cassie shrugged helplessly at Lyssa. "I have no idea, " She said. "The healers probably got the mixture wrong or it's just not suited to you." The healer came back in and inquired to how the potion had worked.

Lyssa just nodded at Cassie."Yeah, maybe," she agreed, nodding her head. When the healer came back Lyssa answered their question. "It hasn't worked. If anything it made everything worse. I thought it was supposed to lessen things."

"It's meant to lesson that," The healer mused. Cassie rolled her eyes, "Well obviously," She muttered under her breath. the healer frowned slightly. "When you were younger what was your personality like?" He asked.

Lyssa blinked at him. "What does that have to do with anything?" she asked, confused.

"Just answer the question please," He erplied.

Lyssa shrugged. "I dunno," she said. "I was a bit of a brat I guess, but what little kid isn't? Plus, when the only role models you have are your parents and their friends things tend to rub off a little bit." She ran her hand through her hair, wondering where this was going.

"Is that personality like the one that you accasionally slip into now?"

Lyssa frowned and thought for a second. "I think so..." she said, slowly. "Why?"

The healer didn't answer her question but instead asked a new one. "And these slips have been getting less frequent as the years go on?"

Lyssa just nodded. "Now, why do you want to know all of this?" she asked again.

"Becaise, while Im not a hunfred percent sure it is possible that you 'slips' into your other personality is your actual personality. And as the years passed hi personalityhad been created and dominated over you actual personality."

Lyssa just blinked for a moment. "So you're saying that the personality I am right now could be the fake one?"

The Healer nodded. "Yes." Cassie raised an eyebrow and frowned at the healer.

Lyssa just shook her head. "That's...well that's absolutely preposterous. There's no way I could have been living a complete and utter lie the last two and some bit years of my life. There's just no way that is possible."

McGonagall came back later telling Cassie she should go back to the school. Cassie just sat there stubbornly, crossing her arms over her chest. The two argued (quietly as to not annoy the hospital staff) and in the end Cassie won.

Lyssa was annoyed at the healer guy. He'd shown up saying something about trying something else the next day. Lyssa had told him that she wasn't going to try anything and that she wanted to go back to school, only to be rejected.

The next week or so passed, Lyssa getting worse instead of getting better and Cassie and McGonagall had an arguement over Cassie going back to Hogwarts. She refused to go back until Lyssa did. Though Lyssa stopped agreeing to take the medicine.

"You may as well leave," Lyssa said to Cassie. "You don't need to be here. All it's doing is hurting your education."

I dont want to go back," Cassie replied, she sat on a chair working on some essay McGonagall had give her to work on because she was adament about not going back. "My educaion will survive."

"You have no reason to be here," Lyssa said again with a shrug of her shoulders.

"Well if I go back to Hogwarts we'll both be bored so," Cassie shrugged.

"Well, actually, I won't be bored," Lyssa said. "I have a healer coming to bug me every few hours to drink something I neither want or need."

"You'd can still be bored, just becauseyou have something to do doesn't mean your not bored." Cassie frowned as the transfiguration work and tried to remember a spell they had learnt in a previous class.

Lyssa sighed. "They should just let me leave already. They aren't going to get anywhere."

Cassie shrugged. "You should just take the stuff cause once they work out what works you'll probably be able to go back."
