Pieces of Two Different Puzzles

Azy walked off, going to find Linnie. "Oi Linnie," She said once she found her.

Linnie was sitting about halfway up on a staircase, the leg that was making her limp hurting too much for her to keep going up them, which had also earned her a detention, since she'd had to stop on the way to a class and thus been late. This just wasn't her week. She looked up as Azy called her name. "What?" she asked, still mildly put out with the girl from that morning.

"Where did Terrance hit you?" She asked, her tone softening so it wasn't as cold as it had been when she talked to Terrance.

"I already told you he didn't...." Linnie started to protest, but she figured that Azy wouldn't keep going on about it unless she's confirmed that she was right, meaning she had probably talked to him. "Just about everywhere?"

Azy frowned slightly. "How many bruises do you have?" She asked.

Linnie shrugged which caused her to wince in pain. "It's not like I have an odd habit of counting them."

"I know this sounds weird, but can you count them?"

Linnie gave Azy an odd look. "Why?"

"Because im docking fifteen points for every bruise you've got."

Linnie raised an eyebrow. "That's a tad extreme."

"Well he's going to get the picture that I'm not joking around when I say there will be consequences."

"I suppose so..." Linnie muttered. "Help me up?"

Azy nodded, walking over and holding out her hand. She helped the girl stand up.

Once Linnie was properly on her feet she started off in the direction of the nearest restroom, as all of her bruises were under her clothes and that would awkward to deal with in the middle of a staircase.

Azy helped Linnie to the nearest restroom which was helpfully on the same floor.

Linnie went into the stall of the restroom closest to the door, closing the door behind her. Then she worked her way on counting her bruises, although she couldn't see a few of them as they were on her back.

Azy waited outside the stall door.

Linnie got the bruises covered back up again and walked out. "I counted 12 not counting the ones on my back that I can't see."

"That is 180," Azy said doing some quick math skills. "Not including however many are on your back."

Linnie nodded, although she'd never been good at math. "Although, I don't see how we can go about calculating in the rest, since I can't turn my head 180 degrees like owls can."

Azy nodded. "I'll just round it to two hundred." She said. Which was quite a lot of points to have been taken off. but when adding what the group had gone over the years it all added up.

"Good enough for me," Linnie said, although deep down she knew that the number was probably going to rise by the next day since Terrance would likely be even angrier at her and would probably think she told if he'd been informed she hadn't.

Azy nodded. "And now we are going to find a teacher, come on."

"Why do I have to go? You have it covered well enough on your own."

Azy looked at her. "Because," She said.
