In A Fight With The World

Lyssa shrugged and the two started in that direction. "Think it'd be faster to go as animals?" Lyssa asked, noticing there was a forest in the distance.

"And probably safer, we ARE in the middle of just about no-where, two people walking may get somewhat suspicious even if we don't look like ourselves."

Lyssa nodded. "Yeah." She really didn't want to be a fox again, having really just stopped, but in the sake of their not getting caught she would do it.

The two turned into animals and made their way to the forrest.

The forest was dense, and sort of dark so they really had no way to find out what time of day it was.

Cassie didn't like being a cat in the forrest. It made her feel small.

Some time later Lyssa stopped. "We're going in circles, and I'm tired and hungry..." she said, sitting down.

Cassie curled into a cat ball. "I vote sleep time."

"What about food time?" Lyssa muttered as her stomach made a noise.

"What's there to eat?" Cassie said thinking they should have gotten a bag, or stuffed their pockets with food.

Lyssa shook her head, laying down with a sigh. "I don't know."

"The grass looks nice," Cassie said eyeing it with disdain.

"Not to eat," Lyssa said.

Cassie sighed moving her head, so it was lying on her paws.

"This sucks," Lyssa said, rolling on her back.

"Yes, yes it does."

"Why can't anything with us just be normal? I mean, I totally wouldn't mind being in a house with a heater and food right now, not out in the forest as an animal on the run from the government."

"That would be nice," Cassie said with a small cat sigh.

"Do you know anywhere that we could hide out for a while. Like a non-outside place?" Lyssa asked. "Because I don't fancy being a fox."

"Um," Cassie said trying to think. "Oh my god," She said, whacking her head onto the ground. "I am the stupidest person."

Lyssa rolled back over onto her stomach and looked at Cassie. "What?"

"My aunts place, I could have been fricken living there for the last three months." Cassie would have facepalmed if she was human.

"You had a house....and you were living in that little place?" Lyssa said incredulously. "Really? Can we go there now?"

"That little place was nearish work and mums at least," Cassie said. She nodded. "Lets."

"So are we apparating, or what?"
