"Oh Sydney stop crying," Ray's mum Kira shushed opening the fridge, and pulling out some food. "I wan e kitteh," Sydney whined, standing up and waving her arms in the direction of the bench where Cassie had been, but was no longer. "Yes yes yes, Ray get her the cat please." "I'll try," Ray said uncertainly, thinking that catching this cat when it didn't want to be caught was going to be hard. "What was that about a cat?" "Will you lot get out of the kitchen!" "Hi Johnny, and yes a cat. Lesley. I found her today." "Cool, she's kind of cute." "She doesn't want Sydney to pat her though." "I wouldn't either if I was a cat." Cassie looked at Johnny who looked around somewhat the same age she was. "Yeah true, bit Syd won't be quiet and-" "Rachel, just get the cat out of the kitchen. Johnny, get out of the kitchen. And stop disapearing without telling me where you are going." "Yeah Yeah mum," Johnny said trying to help Ray catch Cassie.

Lyssa woke up and stretched sometimes later, blinking sleepily and looking around. She didn't recognize where she was at first and then remembered Emily. She got up from her little bed and walked out of the room. Emily was nowhere to be seen, but there was more food in the bowl and some water now next to it.

Johnny eventually caught Cassie. He took her over to Syd, not letting go of the cat as she struggled. "She's a feisty one," He mused as Syd put out her hand. "I wa'a hol 'er." "No Sydney, you'll hurt her." "Pwease?" "No." Syd scrunches up her nose. "Rach, get the cat stuff and I'll take, Lesley? Up to your room." "Okay," Ray said picking up the cat stuff, and making her way up the stairs, Johnny behind, holding the rather disgruntled Cassie. Who did not like being held. Not being pet, especially being pet by a three year old.

Lyssa ate some of the food and the curled up on the couch, after having located the remote and hit it with her paw. She seemed to have the place to herself, so she figured why not and turned it to something interesting.

Johnny sat down on the bed, letting go off Cassie who darted to the other side of the bed. He took a toy mouse off Ray and waved it at Cassie. Who stared at him, with a look that said. "Are you serious." "Not a playful pus if she?" Johnny mused smiling. "Nope, should probably get her something to eat." Cassie meowed, thinking that was a good idea.

Lyssa had fallen asleep on the couch when she heard the door open and Emily walked in carrying some bags. She had probably gone shopping. She set them on the counter and looked at Lyssa. "Did you turn the tv on?" she asked with a laugh, turning it off again. Then she dug around in one of her bags for something and pulled out a pale pink collar that had red stars on it. Lyssa growled at it, backing away from Emily as the girl moved to put it on her.

Ray emptied a small bag off stuff, it has a cat toy or two, a bowl that was for both food and water. Some dry cat food and a black collar. Cassie hissed at it, no way was that thing going around her neck. "What's her problem?" Johnny asked. "No Idea," Ray said picking up the collar. "Come here Lesley." Cassie hissed, backing into the wall. "Doesn't want her collar apparently." Johnny said amused, trying to pick her up. Cassie scratched at him. "Ow crap. Jesus. Your car scratched me." Cassie darted under the bed, hiding in the corner.

Lyssa growled more at the collar, backing herself into a corner as she did so. "Sshh, Vanna," Emily said. "It won't hurt you. It's just so I can walk you around the city. Wouldn't want you stuck here all the time." Lyssa continued to growl at the collar, but in the end it was around her neck and she was sulking on her bed.

Ray sighed. "Lesley, come on." Cassie hissed. No way in hell. "Well you can't go outside without it." Cassie continued to hiss. That was not going around her neck. No way in hell. "Can you get her Johnny?" "What? And get scratched again. No thank you." "Pleaseee?" "no. Do it yourself." "Don't wanna."

Lyssa spent the good part of an hour, hidden away in the blanket, ignoring Emily as she tried to coax her out.

Ray eventually gave up on trying to get her out. "Theres food out here if you want some Les." Cassie sniffed, not smelling anything that smelt particularly like food. She slunk to the edge of the bed seeing the food bowl filled with cat food. There was no way in hell she was going to be eating that. "Ha, got ya." Johnny said picking her up. "Give me the collar Rach." Ray passed it to him and he put it on a very disgruntled Evans.

Finally, Lyssa had conceded to emerging from her bundle, but only begrudgingly.

A few days or so passed and Mike, Ray's younger brother went to school on Monday telling all of his freinds about their new cat that their sister had found. And that she was black. Mike's freind Axel, went home and in passing told his parents, because he thought it was interesting. Axel's parents were magical, and they knew that the ministry was looking for a girl who could turn into a black cat, and this black cat had only appeared recently, so after some discusion they alerted the Ministry, just to be safe.

Lyssa found herself contenting lounging around for most of the day, as Emily had classes to attend to, and at night she went out a leash -which she hated with a passion, but outside was nice. It felt nice to completely relax again, after so long of not relaxing. Sometimes though, even in the few short days it was, she wished Cassie were around. It got really lonely when Em was gone.

Cassie was sitting on the garden fence, watching the cars go past while the kids were at school, and so she staying out of Syd's reach. She watched as car stopped ouside the house. Her eyes narrowed she jumped up a tree so she was out of reach. Though that movement caught the eye of someone who had just stepped out of the car. "There's something in that tree." He said to his partner.

Lyssa was laying, stretching out, on the little seat that was connected to the windowsill in the living room, lazily watching cars go by when she noticed something a little odd. A car was stopping out from of the house across the way, but all the driveways in the area were out back, so it couldn't be one of the residents.

The other auror nodded coming over, he looked up the tree catching a site of Cassie as she tried to get higher. The auror got a pole thingy out of his car, which he really had conjured into the boot as he walked over. And magically charmed it not to miss. He put the peices together so it was tall enough and walked back over the tree. Knocking Cassie out of it. She gave a startled yelp as she fell to the ground.

Lyssa watched lazily, figuring it was just some animal control people trying to catch a stray that had wondered into some person's yard. She yawned, watching the scene, having seen it on Animal Planet before. Then she noticed what the animal was, and a voice at the back of her mind said that maybe it was Cassie.

Cassie arched her back hissing at the aurors. She backed away as they advanced, with that dude with the pole. That caught her around the middle. Cassie vaguely wonderered what would happen if she turned human, and what someone would think if they strolled down the street.

Lyssa sat up from her flopped over position,watching what was happening across the street with attentive eyes. Something bad was happening. She just felt it.

Cassie growled, pulling on the thing around her neck trying to pull out of it. Which of course was not going to work.

The auror guy with the pole thing pulled it toward the car, toting Cassie with it, even as she struggled against it. All it would take to figure out if it was Evans was getting the cat in the car and then using the spell that changed Animagi back to people. If it wasn't then they would just let the cat out again.

Cassie tried to dig her feet into the ground, she didn't want to get anywhere near that car. But as a cat, she was small and had no choice to be pulled along.

The auror reached the car and lifted the cat in the back of it, shutting the door after removing the pole thing. Then he got in the front seat, pulling out his wand as he did so, readying to use the spell to find out.

Cassie backed off as far back as she could, which wasn't as far enough as she would like.
