In A Fight With The World

The guy said the spell.

And Cassie turned human again.

"Well well well," the auror said. "Hello there Miss Evans."

Cassie gave him a very pissed off look, crossing her arms over her chest. "I didn't even do anything," She muttered under her breath.

From her window watching position, Lyssa's eyes went wide as Cassie showed up in the back of the car. She could see her through the window. She pushed the curtain, so that she her head was showing, which made her look like the ordinary type dog, as she watched, hoping that maybe Cassie would look over and notice how close they had been.

The Auror guy raised an eyebrow at Cassie. "You aided an Azkaban escapee, Miss Evans. That is doing something."

"Well she shouldn't have been in Azkaban," Cassie said. "Why was Lyssa in Azkaban? When the rest of her bloody family was pardoned? Huh? Some fair law system you've got there." Cassie muttered sourly.

"Because Miss Malfoy carried on even after the war was over, or do you not recall the days after the last battle where she had you kidnapped and tied to a chair within her family's manor?"

"I'd rather not actually, and besides, her father did a heck of a lot worse than she ever did. He got pardoned. And her mother is the bloody reason we're not all dead!" Cassie scowled feircely at them.

"Neither of them are her, however," the guy said. "If she had stopped fighting when her family did, then things would be different. But she persisted."

"This is ridiculous," Cassie muttered sourly, crossing her arms over her chest and glaring at the guy.

"Is it, Miss Evans?"

"Yes it is. THis is all ridiuclous," She huffed scowling.

"Well, I'm sorry you think so. We are just trying to protect others."

"You are not sorry, and, I am not doing anything that is going to harm anybody. And either is Lyssa at this point."

"Explain that to the aurors from last week."

"Self defence, I am legally entitled to defend myself. They were only stunned, didn't suffer any lasting effects."

"One of them lost their wand."

Cassie whacked herself in the face. "Are you kidding me? They lost their wand, big deal, get another one, it's not that hard.

The auror shrugged. "I'm just doing my job here."

"Well go do it some-place else."

"That would defeat the purpose. Now before we get on our way, do you know where Miss Malfoy is?"

"I don't care if it would defeat the purpose, I shouldn't even be bloody here in the first place. The fricken ministry overreact about all the wrong fricken things. And no. I do not. And if I did. I would not tell you."

"Surprising," the auror muttered. "You two seemed pretty attached at the hip."

Cassie shrugged scowling at him.

The Auror sighed slightly, and flicked his wand to make Cassie's fly to him. Then he turned and started up the car to head back to the ministry.
