In A Fight With The World

Cassie pressed herself into the wall as a spell flew past her. She swore, thinking she needed a sheild or something to reflect the spells on. "Bloody magic," She muttered diving behind her couch.

Lyssa did a multitude of shield spells, to keep herself safe, while also trying to keep Cassie safe as well. It would be so much easier if they both had a wand, but as it was they only had one. She sent a disarming and stunning spell at the person nearest her and then scurried to pick up their wand, dodging a spell, and then heading to where Cassie was, handing Cassie her wand.

Cassie was narrowly missed being hit by a stunner, the ministry at least weren't using Deathly spells. Cassie sent a spell at t aministry person which mixed and smashed the glass cabeint and what was in it. "Oh bugger shit."

"Cass," Lyssa said, "how are we getting out of this one?"

"I have no bloody clue," Cassie sent a spell at the Ministry person, she followed behind it though and when the ministry person stepped out of the way to a spell that was never going to hit him Cassie threw her fist into his face, she turned pulling her leg under the aurors leg causing him to fall over. Cassie decided this auror was tiny and failed at physical fighting. Cassie then sent a stunner at the guy.

"Hmmm if we can get passed them we could high-tail it for the door and change to animals mid-run and then dart off somewhere."

"Where though?" Cassie flung a spell in the direction of another auror, there was only three in the room now.

"Don't know, and don't really want to say anything with these wackos in the room. They'd just follow us. I have somewhere in mind though."

:okay," the two kept dueling for a bit,

Finally, they hit the last remaining Auror with a stun each at the same time. Lyssa winced as they fell over. "Well, let's get the hell out of here before they wake up."

"Sounds like a plan to me."

So the two of them headed outside. "Just follow me for a while," Lyssa said as she turned into a fox, looking around for any more people.

Cassie nodded turning into her cat.

They ran for a little while, reaching a patch of trees. But, they did not stop. Still too close to the house. As they were going, Lyssa quite suddenly gave a yelp, and stopped running. She lifted up her front right paw, and changed back to a person, examining her hand. There was a gash on her palm. "Ow," she moaned, frowning at it.

Cassie turned back into herself as well. She frowned at the hand. "Want me to try and heal it? It's not that deep or anything."

"Yes," Lyssa said, wincing as her palm stung. "Stupid, sharp, pointy rock."

Cassie got out her wand, pointing it at Lyssa's hand. She scrunched her nose trying to remember the incantation. She murmered it watching Lyssa's hand heal.

"Thanks," Lyssa muttered once the cut was all healed up again. "And I suppose while we're stopped I should tell you where we're going?"

"Yeah," Cassie said with a nod. "Where are we going?"

"Well, sometime before the start of seventh year I figured that I didn't want to live at home once school was over, so I took my part of the family vault and moved it to a private account, and then I changed a good sum of it over to Muggle money and got myself a place to stay. Assuming that my wards and spells are still intact we can hide out there for a while. And even if the Muggle police knew my face, they couldn't see the house, because it's hidden from Muggles, so they wouldn't be around most likely." She shrugged slightly and scuffled her foot on the ground.

Cassie nodded. "That's cool and a good idea." She said, wondering what the minitry people were doing. They had probably followed them into the forrest once they'd gained concousness.

Lyssa smiled slightly. "Now we just have to get there," she said.

Cassie nodded. "And how are we gonna do that?"

"I would say we could apparate, but the ministry might have some way to track that, so it seems like we're walking."

"Yeah," Cassie said with a nod. "How long will it take?"
