We'll Never Let You Die.

"You're gonna think I've lost it," Cassie muttered leaning on her mother's shoulder. "But what Lizzie felt, it wasn't me, it was Lyssa." Sam's brow furrowed.

Lyssa waited, holding her breathe, even though she technically didn't need to breathe. It was force of habit now.

Sam looked at Cassie. "Cassie," She said running her fingers through her hair again. Cassie knew this meant that Sam didn't believe her. "I'm not lying," Cassie told her. "Mum, why would I do that?" "I'm not saying you are Cassie, but you could just be thinking that she's there, because you miss her."

Lyssa sighed and frowned. "But I am here, Sam!" she protested. "You could just ask Draco. He's seen me too."

"Draco can see her," Cassie said softly. Cassie knew that Sam had thought both of them had gone crazy. "Cassie, maybe you should go sleep for a bit longer."

Lyssa sighed at Sam, and looked around for some way to convince her. Biting her lip, she wondered if Sam would believe a note in her handwriting...

"I'm not crazy," Cassie muttered. Sam sighed slightly at her daughter.

Lyssa got up and walked over to a little piece of paper, finding a pen on the counter. Then she scratched out a note to Sam. Then she picked it up and set it in front of her. It pretty much just said that Cassie isn't crazy.

Sam looked at the peice of paper. It only caused her to look somewhat more alarmed. Cassie whacked her head on the table. "Mum," She said. "Listen to me. Please. I'm not crazy, I havn't lost it. Lyssa is sitting right there." Cassie waved at her. "You'll be able to feel something if you put your hand there. Please. I'm not making this up."

Lyssa sighed, and decided to say something even though Sam couldn't hear her. "C'mon, Sam," she said, "just believe her for a second and you could hear me."

"Just listen mum, please. Believe me. You'll be able to see that I'm not lying."

"Please please please," Lyssa muttered. "Sam bloody believe her!"

"Ugh," Cassie whacked her head into the table again.

Lyssa frowned. "She's not going to listen..." she muttered.

Cj:

Cassie sighed. And nodded.Looking at her mother pleading, hoping she would just listen.

Tsuki:

Lyssa rested her head on an arm, the other stretched out across the table so that if Sam were to move a little she would probably bump it or something. "Being invisible freaking sucks," Lyssa muttered.

Cj:

Cassie shrugged slightly at Lyss, not wanting to say more less her mum think she'd gone even more crazy. Cassie picked at her food, not that hungry. "Eat it sweetie," She said. Cassie shrugged at her poking it.

Tsuki:

"Cassie," Lyssa said. "Eat. Or else."

Cj:

"I'm not hungry," Cassie muttered poking it again.

Tsuki:

"You haven't eaten since probably yesterday," Lyssa said. "Sam's already worried. Please, do not make me start to worry."

Cj:

Cassie sighed and took a spoonful of the meal.

Tsuki:

Lyssa gave her a faint smile and started tracing shapes on the table, freezing as her arm hit Sam's. "Oops."

Sam pulled her arm back feeling weird as though something cold had touched it. She looked sideways at Cassie who was rather grudgingly eating her sandwhich.

Lyssa noticed the glance at Cassie and scowled. "No. Bad Sam. It's not her."

Cassie sighed somewhat. "I'm going upstairs," She said leaving half of the food in her bowl.

Lyssa didn't move from her chair. She looked at Sam, trying to figure out someway to convince her.

Sam sighed after Cassie, looking at the half eaten food. She picked the bowl up, getting up and taking it over to the sink.

Lyssa was just about ready to bash her head on the table, granted it probably wouldn't have hurt her any. She couldn't think of a single thing she could do that wouldn't be shrugged off as just magic.

Cassie shut her door, going over and sitting on her chair. She pulled her knee's up to her chest, looking out of the window.

Lyssa ran her hand through her hair for a moment, still trying to think of something, anything. Then she got up and -going solid- hugged Sam, burying her face in Sam's shoulder so that the adult could feel her shaking with sobs. This would either make things worse and freak Sam out more, or it would freak Sam out but get her to believe that there really was someone there.

Sam looked somewhat startled, she knew that feeling, from the children when they were younger, or even older and they were having some sort of crisis. She wondered if Cassie's magic was really causing this to happen, or as she said. It was Lyssa. Maybe it is, She thought wondering why only Cassie could see and hear the girl. "Lyssa?" Sam said softly.

"Yes, Sam. I'm right here. I've been here this whole time," Lyssa said, not moving, amazed at long she was staying tangible. "Cassie's not lying and she's not crazy. You have to believe her."
