We'll Never Let You Die.

"I think I remember when I died...Like what happened and stuff like that..."

"Hmm," Cassiesaid telling her to elaboreate.

"I was on one of the upper floors on the castle, where the fighting was less, because I was thinking about which side I really really supported," Lyssa said, looking sort of far off. "And I was walking and muttering to myself when I heard someone behind me. But, I barely had time to turn around before I was getting blasted backwards into the wall on the other side of the freaking corridor. But, unlike people say, that wasn't what killed me. That just looked like it. So, I was laying on the ground in too much pain to move, not sure if I could move actually. And the person walked over to where I was and they killed me. And," she stopped there for a second. "And the last thing I saw...was hair the same color as mine. Avada Kedvra doesn't leave any marks. That's why everyone assumes it was hitting the wall. Because I had the injuries from that."

Cassie's eyes widened and herhead snapped up, making the room spin for a moment. She looked at Lyssa disbelieving. Unable to say anything. After a minute or so she said. "Are you serious?" She asked. "Fricken bastard."

"Excuse my phrasing, but I'm dead serious," Lyssa said. "And the worst part is, I think that if I hadn't reopened my eyes he would have walked away, and I wouldn't be dead."

"Jesus fucking christ," Cassie said. "Jesus christ. Thefucking stupid worthless peice of fucking space."

"Cass, calm down," Lyssa said, not liking the amount that Cassie was swearing.

"Calm down? You're own dad fucking killed you and telling me to calm down?"

Lyssa flinched slightly. "I'm telling you to calm down, yes. Because, I'm over it already. It was bound to happen eventually, and I've expected it for years."

"I don't give a crap if you expected it for years. He fricken murdered you."

"I know what he did, Cassie, but I'm no different than any of the other people, and I don't see you spazzing over them."

"You're my best fricken freind, that's fricken why."

"And I'm glad that you're mine every day, but it's not that big a deal. Really. I shouldn't have even told you. It was a bad move to make."

"It's not a big deal? Did dying knock the sense out of your head? He ruined your fricken life, he broke your mother and your brother's god-damn heart! Of course it's a big deal!"

"Cassie, I swear everything to you that I would make it a big deal if I could reverse it, but I can't, so there's no matter in doing anything about it." Lyssa failed, however, to mention an idea that had just crossed her mind.

"You can do something about it!" Cassie said. "You're a spirit ghost thing. And he can't see you."

"And what does that accomplish, Cassie?"

"Annoying the frick out of him? I don't know!" She shouted the last word. "I'd much rather go and bash him over the head but you wouldn't like that."

"Or we could always go back in time and try to stop him," Lyssa muttered as softly as possible before she thought. Hesitantly, she looked at Cassie.

"How?"

"Timeturner?" Lyssa answered automatically. "I mean, no we're not doing that."

"Where the hell do we get a timeturner?"Cassie mused.

"We don't," Lyssa said. "We're not going to try and stop it."

"Oh yes we are."

"Cassie, really?"
