Cj:
"Sorry, sorry." Cassie said still biting her lip. "uarg," She muttered holding her wand. She continued fixing up what she could, hoping that someone wouldn't appear behind them.
Tsuki:
Cassie was apparently doing an okay job, since after a little bit Lyssa could focus on something other than the pain. At least, she could almost breathe properly now. "Cassie," she muttered, voice soft.
Cj:
"Don't talk," Cassie murmured back. "just rest."
Tsuki:
Lyssa closed her eyes and made a small noise. "Hurts," she whimpered. Then she fell quiet, just trying to focus on something other than the hurts she still had.
Cj:
"I know," Cassie said. "I know. I'm doing my best."
Tsuki:
Lyssa, who apparently fails at staying quiet even injured, looked at Cassie for a moment and asked with a slightly stronger voice than before, "How bad is it now?"
Cj:
Cassie looked at Lyssa. "It's..better. Not great, but better."
Tsuki:
"Better is better than nothing," Lyssa muttered, grimacing. "Doesn't hurt as much..."
Cj:
"Okay," Cassie said after a while. "That's all I can do."
Tsuki:
Lyssa gave Cassie a weak smile. "You're amazing," she said. "But, I don't know how I'm going to get from here to somewhere where someone can finish up the job..."
Cj:
"I can levitate you or something, once the fighting stops." Cassie said.
Tsuki:
"Sounds like a plan, I guess..." Lyssa muttered unsure. But, at the same time, she didn't care. She just wanted all the pain gone.
Cj:
"Yeah.." Cassie said.
Tsuki:
And so sometime later the fighting sounds stopped. By then, however, Lyssa had fallen asleep to drown out the pain.
Cj:
Cassie looked at Lyssa. And leviated the girl with her wand, carefully going down the stairs. She knew she'd have to tell her about Lucius sometime soon.
Tsuki:
As soon as she was levitated, Lyssa woke up. "Whazgoinon?" she mumbled.
Cj:
"Taking you down," Cassie said. "To get you healed up." She frowned somewhat. Knowing that the other her would be in there.
Tsuki:
"Ah," Lyssa muttered. "I can sleep more, then?"
Cj:
"If you want yeah, oh, before you nod off again. I'd like to tell you something...I kind of blasted Lucius through the window.." Cassie twirled her hair around her finger.
Tsuki:
"Good," Lyssa muttered to the Lucius comment, shutting her eyes again.
Cj:
Cassie got Lyss downstairs, taking care so she didn't run into herself.
Tsuki:
Lyssa woke up off and on during the journey downstairs and when they reached the Great Hall where everyone was gathered she was quite awake. Although, that made the pain come back.
Cj:
Cassie sat by Lyss, waiting for someone who could heal her to finish with who they were working on.
Tsuki:
Lyssa waited, trying to be patient. Then finally someone got to her and it was like the pain melted away.
Cj:
The person went off to someone else. "Feeling better?" Cassie asked.
Tsuki:
Lyssa nodded, sitting up. "Loads," she answered. "Thank Merlin you showed up when you did...It was almost like you knew to come upstairs. I figured you would be down here dueling."
Cj:
"Uhm," Cassie said. "Well I did know to come upstairs.."
Tsuki:
Lyssa frowned. "What do you mean...?"
Cj:
Cassie bit on her lip, and pulled the time-turner out from under her shirt.
Tsuki:
Lyssa's mouth dropped open. "You....You're from the future!"
Cj:
"Yeah I am..and the other me is around here somewhere, so I ebtter not run into her or everything falls to crap."
Tsuki:
Lyssa was still gaping. "But, why are you here? Shouldn't you be there?"
Cj:
"I came back to save you." Cassie said tucking the timeturner back.
Tsuki:
"Save me...?" Lyssa said, testing the words almost. "What do you mean you came to save me?"
Cj:
"You died.." Cassie said softly looking at Lyssa for a moment before glancing at her feet.
Tsuki:
"I...what? That's crazy. I'm not..." Lyssa stopped. "You mean that Lucius...Oh, Merlin."
Cj:
Cassie nodded slowly. "Yeah," She said. "He did, and would have, if I didn't come back."
Tsuki:
Lyssa blinked a few times. "I think I'm going to faint..."
Cj:
Cassie bit her lip.
Tsuki:
Lyssa looked quite unsteady for a moment, and then she did faint.
Cj:
"Ah bugger," Cassie murmured.
Tsuki:
A few moments later, Lyssa woke back up and looked at Cassie. "This is mad. You know that, right?" she said. "But, I honestly wouldn't put it passed you to do something so foolish as saving me."
Cj:
Cassie shrugged somewhat. "I came back about a week, so I need to survive a week and get to the ministry at the same time I left round-about." She said more thinking to herself.
Tsuki:
"You're mad, you know that," Lyssa commented tolerably.
Cj:
"Yeah I do. Otherwise I wouldn't be here."
Tsuki:
"Thank you, you know, for saving my butt again..."
Cj:
"It's alright. Better then everyone thinking I've lost the plot."
Tsuki:
Lyssa's brow furrowed. "What do you mean by that?"
Cj:
"Uh, well. You somewhat came back as a spirit that only I could see, Then I convinced Draco and my mum that you were there. So they could hear you..and yeah everyone else thought I'd lost it."
Tsuki:
Lyssa looked overwhelmed again. "I came back...?" she asked, leaning on a wall for support. "That's crazy....And I feel faint again. Dammit, Cassie!"
Cj:
"Sorry, I'll stop talking." Cassie said chewing her lip.
Tsuki:
Lyssa just nodded at her, falling silent as well. "Oh crap!" she said, quite suddenly. "Cassie, did Lucius have his wand when you hexed him?"
Cj:
Cassie blinked. And then swore. "He might have. He was holding it when I hexed him." She swore again. And again
Tsuki:
"Well, that's not good. At all."
Cj:
She swore again. "No it's not." Her eyes widened. "What if he bumps into the me that doesn't know she blasted him through a window?"
Tsuki:
"Then that you is in trouble," Lyssa said.
Cj:
"Yeah," Cassie said chewing on her lip. "And if that me dies, I die too."
Tsuki:
"Let's hope she doesn't run into him then..."
Cj:
"Yeah," Cassie said worried.
Tsuki:
And so the time passed by again til there weren't two Cassie's anymore.
