We'll Never Let You Die.

"They'll be another half an hour or so," Cassie replied getting herself some water.

"Lovely," Lyssa commented. Then she ran her hand through her hair. "This is still incredibly weird...I mean, I don't even know what the hell I am right now, seeing as I can't be a ghost. Since, you know, they haunt where they died and everyone can see them."

"Wouldn't have a clue," Cassie said feeling sad again. She sniffed, rubbing at her eye. Unsure of what to do.

"Sorry," Lyssa said, noticing Cassie's mood change. "Would just rather I not talk about that?"

Cassie shrugged lightly.

Lyssa frowned, and, making her hand solid again, putting a hand on Cassie's shoulder. "Cass, I'm right here," she said softly. "And I don't plan on leaving. Is this really any different than however long ago back before I you know...?"

Cassie shrugged the hand off of her shoulder, she didn't want the feeling as it turned intangible again. "I don't know," She said pulling herself up onto the bench.

Lyssa frowned. "It's not like I want to be dead, Cassie. I'm only 17 years old," she said. "Although, I will admit that being a spirit or whatever is a right bit better than being in hell."

"I don't believe in hell,"Casie said.

"I don't either, but there has to be some difference between what happens to good and bad when they die, otherwise it'd be like rewarding the bad people for being bad."

"It depends on what you believe," Cassie said.

"I guess so, but if it were real I'd be in hell were I not here. I would bet you anything."

"No you wouldn't."

"I'm not going to argue with you about that right now. I've just decided I want to figure out if I can do anything else, plus your mum and sister will be here soon, and it wouldn't do any good for you to be talking to yourself."

"Not talking to myself," Cassie muttered, thinking that this was going to turn into a problem.

"To them you are," Lyssa said, frowning. "Now, I'm going to go up to your room and try stuff out. If you hear any explosions or bouts of swearing....think nothing of them." Then with a quick smile Lyssa bounded off to the stairs.

"Don't blow the place up," Cassie called after her. A few moment later the door opened and Sam and Lizzie entered. "You okay sweetie?" Sam asked entering the kitchen. Cassie nodded and shrugged.

Lyssa went up to Cassie's room, going solid just long enough to grab the door handle and let herself in the room. There she sat on the bed, and thought for a moment. Then she concentrated and tried out different ideas. None of which worked until she got the outlandish idea of telekinesis. She looked around and concentrated on something in the room, which turned out to be an empty glass, and tried to pull it toward her. It worked out well enough, til about halfway when she lost control on it and it crashed to the floor. Lyssa swore as it broke.

Cassie heard faintly noise upstairs and wondered what had happened. "I'm going upstairs," She said, also not wanting to be around her family right then.

Lyssa looked at the glass pieces, vaguely wondering what would happen if she went solid and touched them (like if she accidentally cut open her finger or something). Then she heard the door and looked to see Cassie. Lyssa offered her an apologetic smile.

Cassie looked at the glass on the floor, "Guess I should clean that up," She said.

"Sorry," Lyssa muttered. "I could help?"

"Can you?" Cassie asked her kneeling down and carefully picking up the peices of glass. They had shattered in quite large peices, not tiny shards.

"Well yeah..." Lyssa muttered concentrating and making a glass shard lift in the air a little bit.

They got the glass into the bin.
