Cassie & Lyssa (Year 7. Completed)

Cassie rolled her eyes. Lyssa was jelous. "Don't worry they'll acknowledge you when theyactually realise it happened. I don't think they really believe it yet."

She smiled. Half the wizarding world would have felt the loss if Harry died, if Lyssa or I died maybe only people in this hall and family of us would feel it. Most of the people in the hall didn't know who I was. More would know who Lyss is. She's a Malfoy.

"Stupid lot they are then. Especially when I have solid proof," I muttered.

Stupid lot of Potter fans. Didn't they have any clue what would've happened if I hadn't enter the battle. Namely that the war wouldn't be over like it was. I subconsciously glared at them.

I smiled slightly. "Actually you don't have solid proff Lyss, Don't worry they'll come around."

After afew more minutes of people hugging Harry I cleared my throat.

"I think you guys are being very rude." I said concealing my grin. "Where's Lyssa's hug, she defeated Voldemort you know."

"But I do have proof Cass," I said with a smirk.

Then not really thinking about what I was going to do nex I raised my arm so she could see my forearm. "It's gone. It only shows up when he's around."

I had to bite back a laugh and shock registered over the crouds faces.

"Way to shock everyone to death." I snickered.

I smiled slightlty.

I made a face at her. "I'm trying really really hard not to think about what I just did," I muttered looking away.

My face settled into an annoyed expression.

"Brighten up." I said, it was too dark, too quiet. Voldemort was dead. The mood should be happy.

I looked around the hall and conjured a chair standing up on it.

"Ok." I said. "We need to relax and enjoy ourselves." I said. "George do you have anything to lighten the mood? And I say we need food."

A house elf sped off to the kitchen.

I frowned.

"I still want my hugs for killing Voldmort," I said, pouting.

Then I laughed when I got a couple odd looks. "I'm serious," I said.

I laughed but hugged my freind all the same.

"Seriously guys, she's serious. And before you say it, no she's not mad. You are."

I laughed again when I got odd looks.

"Yay a hug! At least one person appreciates what I did. Ungrateful lot you are."

Then I yawned, which effectively ruined my mock anger at them.

I heard some people laugh.

I grinned and the house elf appeared with food before darting off to get more. I sighed, it seemed happy enough so I said nothing about it.

I took a handful of chips.

"Eat." I said gesturing to the food.

I moved in front of any and al food.

"No one gets any til I get a hug from them."

There were a few skeptical looks.

"Don't think I don't mean it either," I said with a smile.

I snickered and darted behind Lyssa to get another handful of food.

"Hey I hugged her." I said with a shrug and smirked eating the food.

Ginny rolled her eyes and walked up and hugged her before grabbing a handful.

I laughed at them all when people who were hungry enough finally gave in and hugged me just to get food. Oh, well, as long as it worked.

A minute or so later I was tired of the people though, so I just let them all by, especially some of the odder ones.

The whole time I was smiling. It felt good to smile.

I grinned watching.

Taunting the people who hadnt hugged her with food.

Finally she let them past and sat down.

I went to where Cassie was and sat next to her.

"You know...it feels good to be goofing around," I commented. "It's like the good old days."

I smiled a bit.

"Yeah. Like at the begining of the year."

I smiled sadly.

"We need laughter, War takes that away from you."

"Yeah," I agreed. "But I suppose it's because people are so scared of what could happen that that's all they think about and the fun goes away."

I sighed slightly. "Did you happen to use up all the fireworks in Muggle Studies that one time? It would be awesome to put on a show outside."

I shrugged. "I think I did, that I have to say was the most fun I have ever had in Muggle Studies."

George came back into the hall his arms full of boxes.

"Do we have fireworks?" I asked him.

He smiled grinning.

"George you are awesome!" I exclaimed.

"C'mon let's go set it up outside, and then we can get everyone out there."

I bounced up, feeling more energetic than I had when I was a kid.

"Yeah..." His smile faultered.

"Come on George." I said. "Lets give Fred a show from where ever he is now."

We walked outside and me and Lyss managed to get everyone else out there too.

When George looked sad I put a hand on his shoulder, energy level wavering a tad. "I'm here you know."

We got it all set up and people outside. There was a lot of noise and I wanted to say something, so I used my wand to spark one of the fireworks and it went in the air with a loud noise making them all be quiet.

"Ok," I started. "We all know how trying this war has been, but it's over. We've decided to put on this show, not only because it's over, but so that we can remember people lost too. They would want us to be happy, and not mopey all the time. We need to smile again. So here's a show courtesy of WWW. Enjoy."

I nodded to the other two.

I smiled. "We don't mean to forget them though, you can remember people without thinking of them every single minute of everyday."

I sat down on the grass and watched the fireworks flair.

The fireworks lit up the sky, and I'm sure they could be seen even in Hogsmeade.

I looked away from them to all the people watching. Some had tears in their eyes, but they were smiling as they stared at the sky. I allowed myself to smile.

The last firework went up. It was a bright heart shaped one. Exactly as planned, and while we were setting up I had magicked it to have the names of all the fallen from this side on it.
