Cassie and Lyssa. (First Year)

"Course he is. He's Slytherin." George said. The boys parted.

I smiled slighlty. "I like those two."

We turned around and went on our way to charms.

"Yeah," I agreed with a smile. "They're cool. Especially being third years that'll talk to first years they barely know."

I sighed. "And they're really cute too."

My eyes widened and I slapped my hand over my mouth.

"Yeah. They seem quite amusing people too." I muttered as we walked.

I laughed as she slapped her hand over her mouth. "No need. I agree with you."

I smiled at her as we kept walking.

"Yeah..." I said trailing off.

"Do you happen to know where we're going?" I asked after a moment of walking. "Because I have no clue..."

I looked around.

"Not really..." I muttered looking around. The hall was desserted now.

"None of the other first years seem to be having any problems finding classes..."

I trailed off.

"Well we're just special then," I muttered.

I looked around again.

"'What floor are we even on?"

I shrugged. "I havn't got a clue. Have we even gone up any stairs?"

"Girls, shouldn't you be in class?"

They turned to see Professsor McGonagall.

"We're lost Professor."

"Yeah..." I agreed. "Can you tell us where the Charms room is?"

She nodded.

"It's just up the stairs on the left."

"We knew that." I muttered.

"Thanks Professor."

We made our way to charms.

We walked to the room and entered.

All heads turned to us and Professor Flitwick cleared his throat to ask why we were late.

"Sorry sorry," I said quickly. "We're horrid with directions and got lost...again..."

"This castle is pretty big." I added. "They should give out maps to the first years."

I smiled and the teacher told us to sit before going back into what he was sayng.

That class was all rather boring and soon over.

With a frown we walked to Transfiguration, our last class before lunch.

I neither wanted to go to that class, nor the Great Hall after. This morning was still fresh in my mind.

We followed the rest of the Gryffindors this time instead of randomly waiting for them to disapear before we left.

Professor McGonagall took the roll and talked to us about he standards.

I sighed and my stomache rumbled.

Transfiguration was just as boring if not more than Charms.

Through the whole class I stared off into space, and yet somehow managed to take the notes we had to.

Then it was time for lunch.

"Bor-ing." I said in a slight sing-song voice as we left the classroom. "We havn't even used our wands once today." I complained as we went down to breakfast.

"Well if we did, it's likely someone would explode something or do something equally stupid or dangerous while trying to show off. I think it's best we not using them until we have a better understanding of what we're doing," I replied.

'Yeah well they could teach us instead oftelling us junk no-one cares about."

We got to lunch and I grabbed a meat pie smothering it in tomato sauce.

I took a bite into it then all the meat fell out onto my plate.

"Well," I muttered. "I'm sure it'll be important some day."

We sat at the table and I grabbed food.

I was super hungry, the last two meals having been less than pleasant.

I shrugged. "Suppose."

"How was your first classes girls?" George asked sitting down.

"Well we know about potions." Fred said.

"What else did you have?"

"Charms and Transfig." I muttered.

"Both of which were as entertaining as a sack of potatoes," I commented, eating some potatoes. "And I may have developed carpal tunnel from all the writing."

I flexed my wrist a bit. It was cramping up.

"Well it has its uses in the future." Fred said.

"Yeah well thats the future not now isnt it?"

I grumbled and scooped up my pie with a sspoon.

"That's what I said, but it doesn't mean I have to like it," I muttered, stabbing at something on my plate with my fork.

It flew off my plate and hit Ron in the back of the head as he walked back, causing me to snicker at him.

The twins smiled "You'll like it when it gets to the fun stuff."

"Yeah? When is that?" I replied giving up on my half eaten pie. It just did not want to be eaten.

"Yeah..." I muttered making a face then I looked at the twins.

"Why are you two bothering to talk to us? We're just a couple of first years after all," I said curious, and completely forgetting about the whole school being boring thing.

Fred smiled. "I would say you two are pretty interesting firsties."

I hid my face in my hand as I blushed bright red.

"Thanks." I muttered peeking over my hand.

The twins were laughing.
