Cassie and Lyssa. (First Year)

I bit my lip as I felt my cheeks tinge a light pink.

"Thanks," I said, "but we're really not that awesome. Or interesting."

I looked away.

"But how many firsties would talk to third years?" George smiled.

I looked up again still blushing.

"Well I would imagine most of us would enjoy talking to someone older than us, seeing as we know naught about this school and the older kids do," I replied looking at them. "Would you disagree?"

"but most of them would talk to prefects." Fred replied.

"Suppose..." I muttered getting a sandwhich and biting into it.

"Yes, well most prefects are prats," I muttered with a slight pout. "Who would want to talk to them?"

I arched my eyebrow at them.

Fred snickered. "You should meet Percy." He said with a wink.

"I'm guessing he's a prefect?" I said finishing my sandwhich.

"Yep." Fred and George both said laughing.

"If he's the one from last night that was leading us to the common room I have no desire to meet him again," I said. "He was all proper and pratty."

I scowled and wrinkled my nose.

I snickered slightly pushing away my plate.

"Wouldn't like to be prefect." I muttered. "Headgirl well that would be a different story."

"That would be cool I guess," I muttered.

I poked around on my plate a bit, a frown on my face.

as (un)thrilling as the day was I just wanted it to end. I was bored and tired even though it was the first day.

"What's next?" I asked Lyssa.

I yawned.

I sighed.

"I don't bloody care. I up to skipping anything else today and sleeping," I muttered, scowling down at whatever.

"Great first impression on your other teachers." Fred muttered nodding.

"Shut it Fred." I said scowling at him.

"Hey she knew i was Fred." Fred grinned. "That needs to be a record for someone who isn't family."

"I don't bloody care about the teachers or impressions," I near snapped, scowling.

"And I'd bet anything that was just a fluke," I laughed a bit.

I sighed and laid my head down.

I rolled my eyes at the twins.

The bell rang.

"History of magic." I said looking at my timetable.

"Now that is a class that is more boring then Potions." George said.

"Potions wasn't boring," I said. "Things were blown up in there."

Then I groaned.

"But I hate and am dreadful at any sort of history. Dammit all."

"Better then Geography." I added.

All three looked at me weird.

"Muggle subject about maps and junk."

I raised an eyebrown and scrunched my face.

"That sounds horrible," I commented. "Maps? I don't quite like those. Horrible with them. Make me want to tear my eyes and hair out. I can't read them at all."

"But personaly is beats Religion."

I shrugged and got my bag slinging it over my shoudler.

"Nothing will ever beat History in my books, but that could be because I've never those other two things," I said, getting my bag as well.

"Cassie, any clue where this one is? As we did the other three..."

"Nup." I looked at the twins.

"care to help a few lost firsties?" I asked.

"Sure." Fred said.

"Why not." Added George.

"Excellent," I said, smiling a tad. "You guys are awesome. I can't imagine most of the olders kids being willing to help. It's like they don't remember being a first year themselves or something."

"And if they did, when they were first years they learnt Hogwartsoff by heart in their first weeks." Fred said griining.

"Yeah but only the classes not scret passages." George added.

"Percy? And Secret passages?"

"Ok you two," I said looking at the twins. "On the way to you showing us where the hell we're going," here I made a pout face, not wanting to go, "you are going to elaborate on these secret passages, or else. Got it?"

George laughed. "Fred." He said. "I can see a mini us in the making."

I rolled my eyes at them.

"Come on lets go."

"Mini yous. Are you implying that either one of us are going to be troublemakers?" I said with a stare that said I was joking around a bit. "That's not very nice to say. You could have very well just insulted someone with that comment you know."

I smiled.
