Some Things Are Easier Said Then Done

"Pfft," Cassie said. "Like I care, I'd still sue." She sighed.

Lyssa laughed again. "You can try, but I doubt it'll work."

Cassie mock grumbled at the fact.

A couple of more weeks passed by, in which nothing changed, other than the fact that the two girls had started recieving assignments from their professors in order to keep up during their absence. One such day after recieving a new set of assignments, Lyssa was sitting cross-legged on her bed, scribbling something when the healer walked in the room, ready to attempt for the millionth time to get Lyssa to cooperate with him. "No," she said, not even looking up at him before he ever spoke. "Unless I get to be who I want to be, I'm not taking a damned thing you shove at me."

Cassie ignored the healer as she worked on her homework. She was rrather sick of him and would have liked to be back a Hogwars. but she wasn't leaving Lyssa here on her own. The healer sighed frustrated.

"You cannot choose who you want to be, because you are not in your right mind," the healer told Lyssa. She looked up from what she was doing, frowning. "Have you failed to notice that when my personality switches over it wants the same thing that I want?" she asked.

The healer sghed. "Fne, well try go wth the other personalty. But if the concuction shows any side effects we are taking you off. understood?"

Lyssa blinked for a second, wondering if her ears had lied to her. "Seriously?" she asked, not quite believing what was going on. "I get to actually be me?"

Cassie looked up semi startled. "Yes," The Healer said though then stated some crap about how it wasn't her. "Just shut up and let her be the her she wants." Cassie said in an irritated tone. He really did drone on far to much.

The healer left the room to get the potion that would let Lyss be who she wanted to, but surpress the other side. Once he was gone, Lyssa turned to look at Cassie. "I think I've gone into shock," she said. "I never imagined they'd agree to letting me be me."

"The world gone pear shaped." Cassie said looking at where the Healer had left in disbelief. She had never thought that the healer would have given up and let Lyssa do it her way. That was just, amazing really. She'd pegged the guy a Gryffindor and as stubborn as anything.

"I don't really like pears," Lyssa commented, the statement almost sounding random. The healer guy came back with a potion in hand, then first one to enter the room in weeks. Lyssa looked at it, expression blank as she considerred it.

Cassie smiled amused as Lyssa stated that she didn't like pears. "I don't much either," She said with a shrug. "They're not the nicest fruit." She watched as Lyssa contemplated the potion, she didnt really trust the healer not to give her something that would help the Malfoy her but not the her her.

Lyssa hesitantly took the potion as it was handed towards her. She looked at it, now that it was closer, and frowned. It did not look like it was going to taste very pleasant. But then, potions never looked like they would taste very pleasant. "And you promise that this isn't a trick?" she asked looking at the healer.

The healer nodded at her. "And if it is you'll find yourself with a black eye," Cassie thought darkly. Well a black eye probalby would havebeen the least of his worries because Cassie was extreamly protective of Lyssa.

Lyssa bit her lip for a couple of seconds, then took a small drink of the potion. She frowned and made a face at the taste, before finishing it. It was a rather bitter taste. She gave the empty potion flask thing back to the healer a second later, face still scrunched up.

Thea healer left the room saying that it should start to work in about half an hour. Cassie watched him leave, happy to see the back of him and hoped that he wouldnt come bacl.

"That was gross," Lyssa commented once the healer was gone from the room, shaking her head at the dreadful after-taste that it had left behind.

"Medicine always is." Cassie said with a small yawn.

The next day came and the healer was in the room, telling Lyssa that she could finally leave, and to be sure that she drank the potion every morning. She frowned at that, but was glad to be getting back to Hogwarts finally.

Cassie was glad to be getting back to Hogwarts. McGonagall came and collected them and took them back to the school. Cassie wondered how much work they had missed in their absence.

Lyssa had never been quite so happy to see Hogwarts as she was now. Classes were in session when they got there, so they would be starting back up the next day.

The two girls went back to the Gryffindor common room and Cassie sat down on the couch with a sigh.

The next morning came too soon and for the first time in three weeks, Cassie and Lyssa had to wake up early. The two made their way down to eat breakfast yawning. As they walked down the stairs, Lyssa said, "I'll meet you there. I gotta go...ya know..." She frowned.

"Too early," Cassie mumbled sleepily as she trailed down to breakfast. She decided to have waffles for breakfast as she hadn't had them in a while and nodded at Lyssa as she went off. "I'll see you in a bit then." She said.
