Cassie & Lyssa (Year 7. Completed)

I smiled slightly. "It'll be ok, youoi'll see."

"Just because Voldemort has taken over the world doesnt mean he can take over our school."

"Cassie," I said looking up, "not to sound pessimistic, but our school is in the world, so if he takes over that...he kind of will take over our school..."

I sighed. "Sorry I'm acting like such a downer."

I smiled and rolled my eyes. "But Hogwarts is a whole new world completly."

"Come on we have Herbology now, we can talk to Neville. And we'll find Ginny later she can talk to Luna."

I slung my bag over my back and stood up. "Come on Lyss, it's not over yet."

I sighed again and grabbed my bag too, standing. "Let's go..."

We walked from the hall and down the step of the front doors to the greenhouses.

The whole way I was thinking, but the more I thought the worse I felt. I needed some sort of huge distraction and I needed it fast.

"Neville." I called once I saw him. He stopped and looked around,

"We want to start the DA up again." I whispered to him.

His eyes lit up.

"you in?"

He nodded.

"Good," I said. "We just need to get Ginny and Luna in. Not mention recruiting."

I sighed for the millionth time.

"This is all souding like too much trouble, or at least more trouble than it's worth..."

I rolled my eyes at Lyss. "Stop being such a downer Lyss, it's worth it."

I nodded to Neville, "Talk with Ginny and Luna. Ill talk with you more once we're more on track."

The bell rang and we entered the herbology class room thing.

"I'm sorry for being such a downer..." I muttered. "I've just been thinking a lot."

I sat down on one of the tables in the room, moving the plants out of my way to do so.

Then I rested my elbows on my knees and my chin on my hands.

The teacher gave out the instructions and everyone split into groups of two or three.

I grabbed the plant in the middle wodnering what it did.

We spent the lesson observing the boring plant, it had to be one of the most boring Herbology lessons I had ever been in.

I barely paid any attention in Herbology.

When the class was over we all filed out. It had been boring for people as far as I could tell. I realized we had DADA next.

This time though, I wasn't even looking forward to messing with the Carrow.

I noticed Lyss was still in a sober mood, and DADA would probably not help that. I wondered what the Carrows would think if we were quiet for a class.

We entered the class room and took our seats.

I yawned.

I sat in my seat and looked down at my desk. I knew I would at least try to contribute if Cass started something, but else I would keep quiet.

I'm sure Snape and the demon siblings will enjoy us being quiet I thought bitterly.

Then I had another thought. That wasn't allowed to happen. They weren't allowed to be please. I grinned to myself.

I looked at Lyss again who was smiling evily. That was a look I liked.

Carrow started prattling on about some dark magic.

Boring. I thought.

"Hey Cassie," I started to catch her attention.

I had to fight from laughing.

"I think I'm feeling better. Same plan as usual?"

I smirked. "Sure why not."

"Well this is interesting." I said loudly. "Im having so much fun."

I winked at Lyss,

"And here I thought you had learned your lesson and were behaving today," the Carrow said.

"Well that's where you were and always will be wrong," I spoke up. "Nothing can keep up down very long. We have each other's backs and our friends and that's all we need to fight and stand strong."

I smirked. "And I would have thought you have learned your lesson when you realized shouting and hexing us doesn't help you. But I was wrong there,"

The class groaned. "Will you two shut up?" Semus whispered.

"No. We wont."

"You know," I said turning to my classmates. "You're a rather pathetic lot! What ever happened to being in Gryffindor meant being brave too? I'm ashamed to call you housemates anymore. You're just a bunch of cowards! It's no wonder Voldemort's power has grown like it has. You're all to spineless to stop it!"

I smiled. "Yea what did the hat say? "Where dwell the brave at heart their daring nerve and chivally set Gryffindors apart." You guys don't seem to having daring, nerve or chivally. How you got into Gryffindor I have no idea. You'd be better Hufflepuffs." The Hufflepuffs in the room made a noise of indigination. "Well its true."

I felt a small bubble of anger at them. They weren't even defending themselves from us. They just let us trample all over them like...like...Hufflepuffs!

I scowled at them all. "You people sicken me. You talk about how much you hate Snape, and the Carrows, and Voldemort (I was surprised no one had scream or something yet since I'd said it twice already) when they're not there, but when you get faced with them you back down and whimper like little puppies."

Then I grabbed my bag from the floor, and shaking my head in disgust at them all walked towards the door.

I grinned as Lyssa yelled at our housemates then stood up to leave in disgust. The Carrow raised its wand and I pulled out mine.

"Expelliamus." I shouted flicking my wand then smiling with delight as it made the Carrows wand fly out of its hand.

"Don't you dare try curse my freind when her back is turned." I hissed then grinned as I remembered Mad-eye saying somethign along those lines then turning Malfoy into a ferret. Pity Moody wasn't here now.

I turned back as I heard the clatter of a wand hit the floor, only to see that Cassie had disarmed the Carrow, who I assumed was trying to curse me from behind.

My face contorted into rage and I pulled out my own wand, dropping my bag where I stood. I pointed the wand at the still disarmed Carrow, advancing upon him as I shouted, "That was the lowest, most under-handing thing a wizard could do! You never, EVER aim at someone's back unless you want a whole lot of hell when they turn around! Especially from people who have bad, short tempers. Especially from someone like me!" By now I was right up on the Carrow. "And don't you ever attempt to curse me unfairly again or you will regret it!"

I flicked my wand lightly and they stumbled back a bit. "I'm not going to do anything right now," I spat at them, "but do it again and I'll make you wish you hadn't. Do you understand me?"

I snickered Lyss losing her temper was quite amusing to watch (as long as the anger wasn't directed at me.)

I flicked my wand at the wand on the ground again as the Carrow made to go for it.

I rolled my eyes at ,my classmates. "Seriously guys if you got resorted now you would all be Hufflepuffs. Get some backbone."

After my little outburst it felt as though some sort of weight had been lifted from my chest and immediately I felt better. I mearily trapsed back to my bag and picked it up. The classroom was near dead silent. All of them seemed stunned. Why? I wasnt' sure. A person close to me leaned to their friend and whispered something. All I caught was 'Lyssa' 'scary' and 'Malfoy', so I was forced to assume they'd been stunned by aforementioned outburst.

I looked over at Cassie who was making the Carrow skitter after their wand and I laughed. Unfortunately the fun ended, as the bell rang.

Once the bell rang I pocked my wand and walked over to Lyss grabbing my bag.

"Well that was amusing." My eyes lit up.

We walked out of the class room and I smirked as whispers went around us,

"Whats on next?"
