Cassie & Lyssa (Year 7. Completed)

I smiled as I heard people whispering, but it wasn't the fact that they were whispering that made me smile it was what they were whispering about. It seems that little show convinced a few of them to grow a little backbone. How long it would last was still debatable though.

I laughed gently and muttered, "Transfiguration...what fun! Oh, and Draco will be there too! Wonderful!"

"Well that just made my day." I muttered sarcaticly.

"Hmm I wonder what Mcgonaggle will say to us today?"

We walked towards Transfiguration, I smiled slightly.

"Well seeing as we didn't get Snape pulled from his office today she can't really say much," I replied.

Along the way to class we very nearly actually ran into Draco. "Hey Draco," I said.

"Wha- Oh, hi. You two haven't been causing any trouble now have you?"

I opened my mouth to say something like I had the day before but he stopped me.

"Sorry, it's a brother thing. But really, have you?"

"Well." I said smiling mechiveasly. "Lyssa had a fit at the Gryffindors for acting like Hufflepuffs started to leave the class room. Carrow tryed to hex her, I expelliarmused theCarrow's wand. Carrows wand flew away. Lyssa yelled at Carrow. Carrow went for wand. I flicked wand away. Bell rang. Class ended. Then we bumped into you."

"Wait, what?" Draco said. "Slow down and be less vague please?"

I looked at him funny. "Did you just say please to Cassie?" I asked.

"We must record this down in history. Draco Malfoy is being somewhat civil and polite to Cassie Evans."

I snickered. "I could repeat in a less vague way or I could stand here enjoying you confusion."

I grinned and walked into transfigaration.


Taking a seat in my usual spot.

I turned to Draco who looked peeved at Cassie. "Sorry. I would tell you, except the bell's about to ring and I'm not being late. Cya in a bit."

I walked in and Draco followed just before the bell rang. I sat in my usual spot and propped my chair back as usual.

Mcgonaggle explained that we were going to be transforming large things like chairs and tables.

I smiled. This would be interesting.

"I wonder how this will end." I whispered to Lyss.

"Can't end well..." I whispered back. "This class never does."

McGonagall told the class to each come get a chair, or a coffee table, since average size table wouldn't fit the room at a large scale number.

I took my chair and looked at it.

"Whats the incantaion?" I whispered to Lyss. "I wasn't really listening"

I smiled innocently.

"Erm...to be honest, neither was I," I said, just as lost.

So instead, I sat down in my chair. I looked around the room at the other people. None of them seemed to be accomplishing too much. Just a bit here and there.

"Draco?" I hissed.

he turned around.

"Whats the spell?"

"WHy should I tell you?"

"Becuase you dont want you sister to get in trouble?"

Draco told Cassie, who in turn told me.

I nodded at her and got up from the chair to actually start working on it.

By the end of class the chair I was supposed to be transfiguring into a puppy almost looked like on...If you don't count the fact that it was made of wood....

"At least it looks like a puppy." I said glancing at mine.

Mine finsihed up looking like a demeted puppy with two legs and two chair legs. The head was a square.

"I vote we never do that again."

"I second that vote. But you managed more than Draco if it makes you feel any better," I said, looking at the chair that Draco had managed to give a puppy head. "At least yours is on four legs properly..."

I snickered looking at Draco's chair.

'Well that makes me feel better." I glanced at my chair.

"Come on Lunch."

"I though it would make you feel better. It's why I brought it up to begin with."

We walked to lunch. After sitting at the table I decided to say, "I think we should plan our next big thing to tick off...certain people. I have an idea kinda."

My eyes lit up. "Ticking off people is fun and wahts your plan?"

I asked grinning.

Today was just getting better.

"Well you know how I'm like the opposite of a Malfoy, despite the fact that I am one?" I asked. "I was thinking of acting like your average Malfoy. Big head, egotistical, king/queen of the world. I'm wondering if they 'll think I've gone completely crazy, or something. It would interesting to see their reactions, since every one knows I'm not like that. And this isn't making any sense to me, but you get the idea right?"

I laughed. "That would be halerious."

I grinned. "When do we have Muggle studies? Ohh yay right after Potions which is next."

I bit into my pie.

"Hilarious yes," I replied wrinkling my nose up. "But it shall be somewhat painful for me I think. Since it would be going against my natural personality..."

"Oh well," I sighed. "It'll be worth it in the end I hope."

I smiled. "Oh but you'll have fun in the mean time."

We walked down to potions talking it over.

My eyes lit up.

"You know what? We so should pretend that we like hate each other now. That would be funny" I grinned. "Cause the Carrow in DADA saw that we both still stood up for each other..." I trailed off. "What do you think?"

"That is a brilliant idea, and it will definitely help if I'm acting like a Malfoy. Because seeing as you don't like my brother, if I were to act like he does MOST of the time, then you would seemingly have a reason to hate me. And then the next time they wouldn't be expecting us to act out against them, since they wouldn't think we're a team anymore."

I grinned. This idea was brilliant.

"You are a genoius. So next period that we have with them we then work together with each other and confuse the hell out of everone."

We got in potions and took our spots. Professor Slughorn explained the potion to us and we set to work.

"This will be fun."

"Of course I'm a genius. I'm a Malfoy," I said then scrunched my nose. "Ugh, that was horrible. This is gonna be hard..."

I spent the rest of my time trying to figure out how to act like a Malfoy without making a face after everything I said.
