Cassie & Lyssa (Year 7. Completed)

I took out a peice of parchement and a quill.

To Fred and George.

As you know the Carrows and Snape are taking over the school. We plan to do soemthing like you did in our fifth year but are in a lack of fireworks. We were wo0ndering if we could purchace some.

Lyssa Malfoy and Cassie Evans.

I waited as Cassie wrote out the letter to the twins.

When she had finished and let the ink dry she rolled it up. "Well," I started. "shall I go get Persephone so she can take it to Diagon Alley now, or do you want to wait unilt morning so that we don't have a chance of getting caught being in the corridors after hours?"

I yawned. "Oh I'm sure we can go now."

I stood up and placed the letter in my pocket.

"Hang on."

I sat back down and scrawled out another letter to my parents.

"May as well send it while we'e there and we can say we're sending this if we get caught."

I mulled it over for a moment. "Well actually...it'd be best if only one of us went, seeing as if we were to get caught it would blow our cover and then we'd be nowhere, but in trouble," I said thoughtfully.

I paced a small line back and forth for a short moment. "How about you go, alone unfortunately, and just tell Persephone I'm letting you borrow her so she doesn't peck your fingers off for trying to give her a letter without me being there... It's the safest way."

I nodded. "K. Cya in a minute."

I left the commen room and walked up to the owlery humming quietly to myself.

I got up to the olwery and signaled Persophone to come over.

"Lyss said I could use you, can you take this to fred and George then this to my parent? Don't mix themup."

The owl hooted then flew off into the light.

I turned around then made my way back to the commen room. Thankfully seeing no-one.

I lounged on one of the chairs, waiting for Cass to get back from the Owlery.

When she came in I looked at her grinning. "So did you get away peck-free?" I asked, still grinning.

Over the summer my darling owl had picked up a nasty habit of pecking anyone who came near her with a letter except me, even if I told her it was fine.

I grinned. "Sure did. Hopefully we'll have a reply by morning and fireworks by the next."

I yawned. "I'm off to be night."

I bade her goodnight then went up to bed.

I followed Cassie up the stairs to the dorms. "What do you mean she didn't bite you?" I asked, surprised. "She pecks everyone nowadays except me no matter what. Although it was funny the day she pecked Lucius in the face..."

I smiled at the memory.

I snickered. "That would be funny. But I dont know, she jsut didn't peck me."

I pulled off my robes and got into bed,

"Night Lyss."

"You're lucky then. Maybe she just likes you more than most people," I commented as I got ready for bed.

"Night then Cassie. We do need to be well rested to wreak havoc tomorrow."

"Night. And yes. Shouting at people is lots of fun. Even if it is you."

I yawned and rolled over.

I laughed quietly to myself as I stretched out and got comfortable on my bed.

Then I rolled over and closed my eyes, trying to sleep.

It took forever to manage, but eventually I did sleep.

I woke up the next morning and yawned.

"Morning Lyss."

I dressed quickly and left the room to go down to breakfast we had to leave seperetly anyway.

When I woke up I still felt as tired as I had the night before, having had a fitful sleep.

I barely registered Cassie saying good morning as I rubbed my eyes blearily. And she was gone before I was awake enough to reply.

I slowly got ready and left for breakfast.

I walked down to breakfast humming slightly to myself. I sat next to Neville.

"Hi Cassie." He said.

"Hey Neville whats up?"

"Not much you?"


Ginny came over then.

"Did you write to Fed and George?"

I grinned. "Sure did."

I decided, in order to properly keep the act up, I would sit with Draco again at a meal.

I quickly spotted him at the Slytherin table and walked over, sitting between him and Pansy, whom he was trying to escape again.

"Good morning," I said, smirking at her as she scowled in my direction.

"Got a reply yet?"

"Nup." I took some toast and chewed on it.

Lyssa's owl soared into the hall and thankfully came to me, not Lyss.

I opened the letter.

I watched as Percy flew to Cassie when the post arrived.

Draco's eyebrows pulled together. "Why is your owl over there?" he asked, whispering.

"It's for this thing we have planned," I replied, hiding my smirk.

I read the letter.

To Cassie and Lyssa,
We'd love to help you with your indevor.
We will send you a box either later tonight or tomorrow night. So it doesnt come in the morning post.

The remainder of breakfast was uneventful other than McGonagall still looking at us confused.

Then came time for class. Gryffindors had Charms first thing this morning so I walked to that classroom.

We had the class with Ravenclaw, of whom I knew very few. Since Cassie and I were still "fighting" I sat away from her, near the back again.

I smiled to myself as me and Lyss sat away from each other.

I sat next to Pavati who usually annoyed the daylights out of me.

I yawned sleepily wondering when she was going to start saying something uninteresting.

I took a deep breath and tried to mentally prepare myself for one of worst classes I had ever experienced since my first year. This was going to be tough, but for the sake of the plan I would do it.

I found myself sitting without a partner, but that was fine with me. At least people wouldn't see me freaking out or anything.

Charms was boring, we just did revision, nothing new, nothing flash.

I leaned back in my chai, yawning.

I glanced back at Lyss and had to glower to stop myself from grinning.

I found myself scowling throughout the entire class period, and I took to near glaring at the corner at the front of the room. Revision was not enough to keep me properly distracted. I wanted to put my head down and pout, but that was not Malfoyish behavior. Damn...

Pavatie glanced at me then at Lyss.

"Whats up with you two?" She asked.

I grinned. "Oh not much."

The bell rang and I got my stuff walking to DADA
