Cassie & Lyssa (Year 7. Completed)

I made a face. "Well I suppose I should, so that if it goes well you don't end up hating me for some reason or another."

"Draco came up with the idea for me to agree and then fake it all. Which is all well, because neither of us are dead yet. And then once we can, we get the hell out of here. And then make the plan to kill Voldemort, without anyone getting kidnapped again...Or something like that. I was a tad upset when he told me, so I may have some of it wrong..."

I nodded and picked up my pawn placing it on the square. I didn't care if the peices didnt like getting picked up. It their own bloody fault for not moving.

"Good idea, now I suggest we talk about soemthing else, I think the walls may have ears here."

"Yeah, I guess so," I said.

Then I made a face at her and laughed.

"I just realized you look horrible."

I smiled. "Of coure I do, I was kidnapped for what three months?, then been on the run for I dont know how long, fought and battle at Hogwarts and here I am hostage again."

I smiled.

"Yeah I suppose, but still..." I muttered.

Then I sighed and frowned.

"So we have two, albeit minor, problems right now."

I shrugged. "We'll live."

I frowned at my peices which were whispering ammounst themselves.

"Well, I'm solving my problem before I die of heat exhaustion or something," I said getting up. "Continue the chess. My pieces know how I would move them, so they can move themselves."

With a small smile I left the room.

I ended up taking one of Lyssa's pawns, then her rook took my diagonal one.

"See-" One of the pieces started to say.

I picked it up in my finger. "I do not care what do have to say. Got it?"

I walked up to my room and changed into a t-shirt, which I have to admit was way cooler than the other shirt had been.

I turned to leave, frowning as I caught sight of the mark in the mirror.

Oh well, I wasn't going to overheat for the sake of hiding it. And it wasn't like it was a secret anyways.

I walked back in the room with Cassie, noticing she was fighting with her chess pieces again.

"No, I don't care." I dropped the peice to the board and it quickly waddled over to where it had been.

"Welcome back." I said ignoring the mark on her arm.

"thanks," I said sitting back down.

"So how goes the game?" I asked with a smirk.

I looked at the board.

"Well I took your pawn then your rook took my diagon thing. And then my peice started complaing."

I gave a breif summary.

"Your house is still empty."

"Yeah it is..." I muttered. "I don't like it."

I made to get a piece to move when the door swung open for the second time.

I looked over and grimaced. Voldemort had just walked in.

I noticed Voldemort entered the room but diced to ignor it.

My peices moved without complaining this time. Thankfully.

"Melyssa." Voldemort said.

I sighed exasperated.

"What do you want now?" I asked, annoyed.

And I did so all without looking from the chess game.

"Why has the prisnor been released?" He was angry.

I sighed and moved my peices which seemed to realise I was going to do it my way even if I sucked.

I yawned tiredly.

"Well you see..." I started to say. "She's the one who saved me, so I felt I owed her something and those chairs aren't the most comfortable in the world. And besides, she hasn't even left the room."

I looked up at him almost hesitantly.

My peices finally having enough started playing without me telling them waht to do.

I turned to Voldemort who looked as if he was about to have a fit.

"Exactly." I agreed.

Voldemort glared down at me (I scowled at the thought of his being taller than me since he was standing) with an angry look on his face.

"That is no excuse. She's only half blood. She is below you. You owe her nothing.

"As are you then," I replied. "So really, you shouldn't be bossing me around."

I snickered. Though of course she was right, if Half Bloods were below her then Voldemort was.

I turned to the chess game, the teams were even, Chess peices knew how to play the game pretty well.

I nearly shrank back in my chair when Voldemort's glare intesified.

"Has your little time with the opposite side made you forget who you're talking to?" he asked.

I shook my head slowly.

"Well." I said not taking my eyes away from the chess board. "She does have a point."

An idea hit me. "I vote we play checkers thats I game I do know how to play."

The peices all looked at my confused, "Never mind."

Voldemort turned his glare to her, and cast something to stick her back in the chair again and it would seemed he silenced her as well.

I frowned.

I scowled as I was bound into the chair again. I had also been silenced. Annoying git.

Voldemort was still fumming and I had a feeling he would do soemthing soon.

Something that wouldnt be fun.

I nearly gulped when he pointed his wand at me. The last time that happened he had been trying to kill me.

He flicked it and suddenly my left arm felt like it wa on fire or something, the mark there burninng like mad. I grabbed it and clenched my eyes shut. My hand on that arm curled into a fist and I pulled it close to me.
