New RP 1 (Expelled) (yes, fail title, but it makes it obvious)

"My lack of normal personality? What fricken world are you living on? Where went your normal personality, you're being a stuck-up bitch." Cassie snapped back feeling extreamly frustrated.

Lyssa smirked, amused. "My normal personality?" she said, raising an eyebrow. "This is my normal personality. It's the same personality I had as a child, so how could that not be called normal? And I have every right to act how I want to. Be that stuck-up as you so eloquently put it or not."

"And I have every right not to privledge you with a comeback if I do not want to." Cassie replied back. "And it might have been your normal personality when you were a kid but it wasn't for the last six years which was what I classified as normal."

"Well then, obviously you don't know me half as well as you would like to think," Lyssa said. "If you did, then you would have noticed the small slips, the deviations, the times when I would act just like this, only not on quite a grand scale. This is me. It always has been."

"Oh?" Cassie said tilting her head to the side. "If it was always you then why were you sorted in Gryffindor? Why did you join the DA in fifth year? Why have you been freinds with me since first year?"

Lyssa fought back the urge to roll her eyes. "Like I said before, back then this personality was on a lesser scale. Call it a rebellious period if you'd like to. But now I see that it was nothing more than stupidity."

"Oh alright," Cassie said actually fighting back the urge to cry, she was just frustrated with it all. She pulled her sleeve up showing her charm bracelet. "If it was all merely stupidity, have your fricken charm back." She turned it and pulled, pulling the small red heart off of the bracelet. Throwing the heart at Lyssa's feet she stalked out of the room leaving her belonging on her desk.

Lyssa didn't pay the charm, now on the ground near her, any mind. She just looked at the spot where Cassie had been standing a moment before, face blank. Then she looked at all the students who had stopped working to watch the two bicker. Then she went back to her work, as if nothing had happened.

Cassie wasn't even paying attension to where she was going she just walked, hoping to somehow get lost in the many corriders of Hogwarts which was impossible as the girl knew the place back to front as her first few years she'd hung out with the twins a lot. Her eyes were blurry and she was constantly trying to wipe the tears out of them only for them to reapear moments later.

Lyssa could hear the class muttering around her. Even Draco looked...a little....surprised. He'd known she'd changed, but he'd had no idea how much she had. Lyssa just kept to herself, ignoring all of them. They didn't matter to her right now. No one did. Well, her family did, but most of them weren't around.

Cassie just walked, nearly walking into a few walls in the process. Her head spun and Cassie found that she couldn't walk anymore, having no idea where the hell she was before of the tears clouding her eyes the Gryffindor girl sat down leaning her head against the wall.

The class got back to what it had been doing before in a matter of moments. Some amount of time later, the class ended. The students filed out, Lyssa being one of the last as she packed her stuff neatly back into her bag. She pulled the strap over her shoulder, spying the charm on the ground. Then with a slight shrug to herself, Lyssa got up from her chair and walked out of the room where Draco was waiting for to talk to their next class.

Cassie could hear foot steps and she supposed that the bell had rang but she didn't have the energy to move off of the floor. She sat with her head in her hands, her head facing towards the floor trying to calm herself down and to stop her crying, her head pounded from her crying and the Gryffindor girl was feeling somewhat sick. She wondered why this kept happening, why hadn't Lyssa forseen that she'd go into Malfoy-mode like she had last time? She wondered if she would have been better off if Lyssa had gone into Slytherin and the girls had never met on the train. Were those years of friendship worth the pain that she was feeling now?

The rest of the days classes went by and after classes Lyssa found herself in the library once again, avoiding the Gryffindors. Would she love to be somewhere other than the vast, quiet, book filled room? Yes. She didn't like the library, but there was no place else for her to be. Lyssa looked down at the page in front of her, a letter to her father partial written out. She frowned at it, wrote in a few more sentences, then blew the ink dry. Getting up she walked to the owlery to send off the letter.

Cassie found her way back into the Gryffindor common room sometime later that day, though she didn't stay in the common room she went straight up to her dorm and sat on her bed bringing her knee's up to her chest. Her hand subconiously found her charm bracelet and she played with the charms, it felt somewhat different without the heart charm.

After she sent out the letter with Persephone, Lyssa walked back down from the Owlery, intent on going back to the library for a while longer.

A few days passed and Cassie did her best to act nonchatantly about the whole thing, though failed misrably. The Gryffindor girl sighed stabbing her toast with her fork and hitting the plate on the other side of the toast. She looked up as Lyssa entered the great hall and nearly feel out of her chair as she looked at the girl's uniform. Instead of wearing the Gryffindor colours that Cassie was used to the girl was wearing Slytherin ones. Cassie grabbed her bag and walked right out of the hall passing right by Lyssa, if she'd taken a step to the side they probably would have collided. The Gryffindor girl had to restrain from punching her former best freind in the face, but it was a close thing. She clenched her fist as she stormed out.

Lyssa got her replies a few days later, and she wondered whether it should make her feel relieved or sad. She decided that former was more probable since she absolutely could not stand being around the Gryffindors any longer. So the day after getting the letter, Lyssa made her way up to the Headmaster's office before breakfast. She knocked on the door and walked in. Snape was there, and had the Sorting Hat there as well. "Are you sure about this Miss Malfoy?" Lyssa nodded. "One hundred percent." Snape motioned her to the Hat. Lyssa went over and picked it up, placing it on. It started to talk to her. "This is more like what I expected seven years ago when you first tried me on," it said. Lyssa was quiet as the Hat continued. "You definitely belong in Slytherin now, so that's where you go now." Lyssa took off the Hat without a word, and looked at Snape. He looked indifferent at her. There was a tense moment, and an odd feeling. Then Lyssa looked down at her school uniform to see that the colors and the crest had changed. She nodded at them and walked from the office, hungry for breakfast. As she entered the Great Hall to eat, Cassie walked out, going right by her, and looking livid. Lyssa all but ignored her, going to sit by Draco.

Once out of the great hall and into some corrider of another Cassie thwacked her fist into the the brick wall. Not caring that it bruised her knuckles and nearly causing them to bleed she was just so freaking frustrated. She wacked her fist into the wall again and this time droplets of blood appeared on her knuckles. Why? A voice screamed in her head. Why would she do such a thing? Resort herself? Cassie's eyes clouded with tears that ran down her face and she didn't care if anyone walked past and saw her punching the wall. She just wanted to get some of her annoyance out of her. "Miss Evans," A voice said that did not help Cassie's mood in the slightest. She glared at Snape with an expression of outmost loathing. "THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT." She shouted at him nearly actually going up and punching him in the face. "ALL OF YOUR FAULT. YOU STUPID FUCKING BASTARD." Cassie did not care what Snape thought of her, did not care if anyone walked past to witness her screeching. She wasn't thinking at all just shouting, wanting to get away from it all. "YOU DON'T GET IT DO YOU. YOU DON'T FREAKING CARE HOW MUCH YOUR MAKING PEOPLE HURT. YOU TURNED MY FUCKING BEST FREIND AGAINST ME YOU SELFISH GIT. I DON'T WANT TO BE HERE. I WANT TO BE HOME!" She wanted to throw something at him and she did, though the only thing that happened to be in reach was her wand as she'd dropped her books when she punched the wall. Not caring that wands were not meant to be thrown she chucked hers at Snape though in her distressed mood it missed him and thwacked into the wall. Cassie wasn't there to see the impact, she'd already turned and ran tears streaming down her face.

Draco looked up from his breakfast as his sister sat down. Upon seeing the change in her uniform, Draco's eyebrows pulled together. "What-?" he started to ask, but couldn't think of a way to properly phrase his question. "Father got Snape to agree to allowing me to resort, since I was miserable in my old house," Lyssa said, guessing what he was going to say. Draco looked at her oddly. "But what about Evans?" Lyssa shrugged. "What about her?" Draco gave her an incredulous look. "You two have been nearly inseparable the last 7 years, you go home for a while, and come back like this! I put up with it at first, because I chalked it up to over-exposure to Father, but now I'm not letting it slide anymore. You've changed, Lyssa. And not for the better, either." Then he shook his head at her, pushed his plate back, and got up, walking out of the hall. Lyssa looked after him, blinking slightly. She hadn't changed at all. She was exactly who she was supposed to be, who she was always meant to be. She shook her head lightly, looking down at the table to choose herself some food to eat. While doing so, she caught sight of the new green and silver of her uniform. With a shrug, Lyssa reached for something, hungry.

Draco frowned as he walked through the school. Things had completely flipped over lately. And he wasn't sure he liked it. Sure, Lyssa being in Slytherin now would mean he'd get to spend more time with his sister, but it just didn't seem her. It was incredibly odd for Draco to see his sister's uniform as green and silver, rather than the red and gold he'd become accustomed to. It would also be odd, he figured, to see Lyssa hanging around in the green-tinged Slytherin common room, a place she'd never been before. Draco turned the corner, bumping into someone, causing both people to nearly fall over. "Evans?" he said, shocked as he looked at the very distraught looking Gryffindor girl.

(er...*smiles innocently* and now you see why I didn't have time to post before I left for school...)

(Ugh you made me cry dammit)

Cassie nearly fell over as she stumbled into someone she couldn't see. Although she recognised the voice. Rubbing the tears out of her eyes she looked at Draco. "What?" She asked in less of a snap then it would have usually been, she didn't have the energy to snap right now. She was tired and felt positivly sick, yelling at Snape hadn't really acheived anything either, except that now she didn't have her wand on her anymore. Not that she really cared, that stupid twig had brought her enough problems. She rubbed the tears out of her eyes again as they whelled up.

Draco was quiet for a moment, entirely unsure what to say. He wasn't good around upset people. He usually just ended up upsetting them more. The generic thing here would be to ask if she was okay, but that answer was obvious. "Er..." he muttered. "I don't really know. So, I'm just going to say sorry for my sister and be on my way."

"Why the heck would you be sorry?" Cassie asked raising an eyebrow, though she was still sniffling. "You've hated me for years and now your sister is acting like she should be." Cassie made a face at her pounding head, she always seemed to get a headache when she cried which did not help her mood.

Draco shrugged. "Maybe, because I don't like seeing her in green and silver. I've sort of grown accustomed to the red and gold. It suited her better," he explained. "And it just seems appropriate to apologize for her, because she's obviously hurting you."

Cassie just shrugged at him, she heard the bell for classes ring and sighed rubbing her eyes again. she was getting tired of rubbing them but otherwise she couldn't see a thing.
