New RP 1 (Expelled) (yes, fail title, but it makes it obvious)

It couldn't be anything too bad. He wouldn't make you stay at the school and then

Lyssa jumped as her door knob turned and she quickly shoved the paper and pen under her pillow since she'd been writing on her bed. The one thing she forgot to hide however, was the owl, which was sitting perched on her window sill. And Lucius was standing in her doorway.

Cassie never got a reply to her last letter and she guessed that was because Lucius with his annoying ability to appear out of no-where at the most inconvient tiimes had startled Lyssa and found out about her writing letters. "Miss Evans," Cassie glanced up to see Professor McGonagall standing in front of her, her housemates were glancing at the two of them. The head of house didn't actually enter the common room a lot. "The headmaster would like a word with you." "If he wants a word with me he can bloody come here and tell me himself."

Lyssa had later found herself with her window sealed shut by magic, so that meant no more letters, unless she could figure out another way to send them to Cassie. With a sigh, Lyssa looked at her ceiling, wishing for the millionth time she wasn't stuck in the Manor anymore.

"Miss Evans," McGonagall sighed. "Please." Cassiesighed and stood up. "Fine let's go see what his annoying peice of crap wants this time." Cassie remembered a moment after she said that she she was standing next to Professor McGonagall having momentially forgotten it. "Sorry Professor..." She muttered.

McGonagall led her to Snape's office and then walked off leaving Cassie to enter it, feeling rather annoyed, she had better tings to think about then Snape's fricken detensions. "So nice of you to fianlly join me Miss Evans."

Cassie scowled at him. "I am fricken tired of you. You don't get it do you? I'm not going toshut up and listen to these fricken Death Eaters prat on about-" Cassie stoped midsentence. Or rather she didn't stop, but she was no longer making a sound. Cassie tried talking and found that no noise was eminating.

"I will give your voice back ifyou do. as your. told. Stop skipping classes, stop making distractions, stop wearing those riduclus Muggle outfits. If you do as I say you might get your voice back. You are dismissed."

Cassie stalked out swearing, or at least trying to. Snape and Lucius seemed to have the same ways of punishing people, putting them under house arrest, and stealing thier voices.

Lyssa ended up reading all of the books on her shelf in her boredness. There was nothing else she could, because she had to ask to do just about anything and in her current condition she couldn't ask anything at all.

Cassie decided that not being able to talk was rather an annoying nusence, expecially when she had to ask questions and stuff in class. The Gryffindor was back in her robes and not interupting classes. (like shecould she couldn't even talk)though she did contemplate throwing her book at oneofthe Carrow's once.

A couple weeks passed by and Lyssa was out of books to read. One day, her door opened and Lucius walked in. She looked at him skeptically, wondering if she'd done something that would make him take something else away, but couldn't think of anything she could have done, since she'd secluded herself to her room. "You've behaved surprisingly well in the last couple of weeks," he said. To which Lyssa thought Of course I have. I haven't done anything but read. She hadn't once tried to rebel again Lucius as she didn't want to lose more than she already had. She would get things back before she did that. "In light of your lack of rebellion," Lucius went on, "you get one privledge back." Lyssa mimed writing, hoping he would let her write to Cassie now. "You want to be able to write your friend?" Lyssa nodded at him. "Fine."

And so later, Lyssa sent her letter to Cassie.

Cass,

Lucius has given me permission to write now, which is a good thing, I suppose. But that's all he's allowing me to do. Still can't talk. What's happening at the school?

Lyssa

Cassie was failing her classes, she could not nonverbal to save her life and so couldn't do the spellwork to the dispair of the teachers. The Carrows didn't care though, they found it a good thing that Cassie couldn't talk. Cassie scowled in frustration throwing her bokok against the wall as she tried to cast even the most simpliest spells that she had learnt in their first year. She jumped when she saw an owl soar in and drop and letter on her lap. Cassie opened it seeing that it was from Lyssa and quickly replied.

Lyssa,

Good that you can write now.

Awful, Snape silencioed me (though it's not silencio cause Nix tried to counter it but that didn't work) so now I can't talk. And am just about failing my classes because I still can't do nonverbal spells to save my life. The teachers aren't very happy and I'm pissed.

Snape finally got the colours back to the normal, only the other day actually.

Lyssa quite enjoyed her new ability to write people. It helped her feel not as cut off from the world as she did before.

It took him about two weeks to fix the colors? Wow. I didn't expect it to take that long to fix. I'm impressed with myself.

Sounds like you're having a crappy time of it at Hogwarts, but hey, at least you still have possession of your wand, able to use it or not. I haven't seen or touched mine in weeks. Lucius still has it.

I'm going to take my chances and annoy Snape with something...any ideas?

Cassie was sitting on her bed now, she sent the owl off. The other girls in her dorm had gotten into bed.

I need something ao annoy the the hell out of Snape that doesn't involve spellwork.

Lyssa sighed to herself as she lay on her bed, thinking. Maybe, if she appealed to Lucius' good side (did he have one of those?) she could get out of this mess. Getting an idea, she pulled out two pieces of paper, one to write Cassie, and one to write down a proposition for Lucius, since she couldn't just verbally tell him it. First she wrote Cassie's letter, sending it off with her owl. Then she started to write her note to Lucius. Once it was finished she set off through the Manor to find him.

The twins were in their shop when they got Cassie's letter to them. Reading it over, heads together, they simultaneously grinned. Fred grabbed a page to write on, despite his twin's protests that he should write the letter back to Cassie.

Cassie grinned as she got the letter back from the twins and examined the supplies that she had been sent, she send a letter back thanking them and that if possible she would like to see the potion that changed skin colours, that would be quite amusing and interesting to say the least. She read Lyssa's letter and wrote one back.

Lyssa,
I hope whatever you are planning goes well.
I just got the stuff from the twins and willmost pobably use some of them tomorrow."

Lyssa found Lucius in his study, working on something. She tapped lightly on the open door, to announce that she was in the room. Lucius looked up at her for a moment, and in a look told her to come in. Lyssa walked in, her note clutched in her hand. She bit her lip and held it out to him. Lucius took it and read it over quickly. Lyssa stood there, anxiously waiting for his answer. Finally Lucius spoke, "Let me think it over and write to Severus first. Then you'll have your answer." Lyssa nodded, glad he hadn't just outright refused. She went back to her room to find a letter from Cassie waiting for her.

Cassie owled off her note and with an irritated sigh went outside to aimlessly walk around the grounds. She was getting frustrated that she couldn't talk and her grades were falling misrably, as much as she tried she still could not nonverbal.

Lyssa had spent the rest of the day in her room, wondering what Lucius was thinking and what he was going to do about her proposition. She sighed, reading the small note Cassie had sent and decided there was no need to reply to it.
