New RP 1 (Expelled) (yes, fail title, but it makes it obvious)

"Hang on what?! Cassie half shouted, which earnt her a few looks. "What happened?" She asked her.

"Well, I had snuck into my room to get my stuff out, but Lucius caught me and did that spell that Snape did to you on me, and then he disarmed me and took my wand away saying I had disgraced the family by getting expelled and that he wouldn't allow me to run around with the ability to do magic. Then my parents lectured me for half of today, then I stole some Floo powder and here we are now," Lyssa explained.

Cassie frowned. "That sucks. Now we are both under house arrest. Though this is more castle arrest." Cassie shrugged with another frown. "I'll get a school owl and write to you sometime." Cassie told her. "Though I don't think going out of the dorm would be the best idea for me right now. I might run into Snape."

"Doubt I could write back anyway. I don't have any of my school stuff, so no quill, ink, or paper. And Lucius sure as hell won't be giving me any," Lyssa said with a frown.

"Don't you have any in your room?" Cassie asked. "I could send you a pen with the letter," She half smiled."I have a few of them lying around. Much more convient. Don't need to walk around with things of ink."

"I guess that could work....so long as you sent an extra piece of paper too, for me to write the reply on. The only paper in the house is in Lucius' study and I can't very well go in there and not get caught," Lyssa said. Then she froze when she heard footsteps in the hall.

Cassie nodded and then froze too as Lyssa froze. Both girls were quiet but still the room was full of noise as people in the common room chattered.

Shadows stopped right in front of the door, and Lyssa looked at them, hoping the chatter noises coming through from the common room weren't loud enough to be heard. She watched in apprehension as the feet came closer to the door, and Lyssa heard someone place their hand on the knob.

Cassie was quiet to, though she doubted she would be able to hear anything with the sound that the common room was making. Though she knew that there was something up on the other side because otherwiseLyssa wouldn't have frozen.

The door knob started to turn and Lyssa's breath stopped in her throat as she watched it. Then the door swung open, Lyssa not getting a chance to move from the fireplace, as she was still frozen in place. Unfortunately for her, the door revealed Lucius.

Cassie was anxious to know what was going on on Lyssa's side of the floo, she guessed it wasn't good and that one of her parents. She was guessing Lucius had entered the room.

Lucius looked very angry when he saw Lyssa and realized what she was doing. He walked in the room and pulled her back from the fireplace, cutting off the connection as he did so. "What are you doing?" he asked. "I think that should be obvious," Lyssa answered.

The connection flickered off and Cassie frowned worried and hoping that Lyssa was alright. Knowing Lucius, if it was him, he was going to be livid knowingthat Lyss was flooing her without his permission.

"I don't recall giving you permission to Floo anyone," Lucius said, anger slipping slightly into his tone. "That's because you didn't," Lyssa replied. "And honestly, why do I even need permission? I'm an adult." Lucius narrowed his eyes. "That doesn't matter so long as you're in this house. Here you ask permission to do things."

Cassie frowned and decided that there wasn't really much she could do.

"I'll do whatever the bloody hell I want to. I don't want to be here, so I'm not going to follow you're stupid rules," Lyssa snapped. Lucius didn't reply, instead flicking his wand at her. When Lyssa went to ask him what the hell he did this time no sound came out. Her eyes narrowed at Lucius. "You will learn to follow rules, or you will find yourself with less and less priveledges," Lucius said, then he walked out, leaving a fuming Lyssa behind.

Cassie nicked a thing of ink and some parchment off the nerest table not caring if she was bother the person it belonged to. She scrawled a quick message and set off towards the owlery. She got there without a bother and send the letter off with a brown school owl.

What happened?

Cassie,

Lyssa had walked back to her room, and was sulking on her bed when she heard something at her window. There she saw an owl. Lyssa got up and opened the window, taking the letter from it. Lyssa read it over noticing Cassie had kept her word and added in a pen and extra paper (though Cj forgot to write that in!) for Lyssa to reply on. She wrote fast for fear of getting caught.

Cassie,

Got caught by Lucius. Bastard Silencio-ed me in 'punishment' for Flooing someone without his permission. Have to be careful owling, since I haven't asked (like I can) if I can. Don't want him to cut off my last means of communication.

Lyssa

Cassie was walking down the halls when she jumped hearing footsteps behind her. She swore when she saw that it was Snape. He (quite like Lucius) seemed to turn up at the most inconvient times. "Miss Evans," He drawled. "Forget something earlier?" Cassie looked at him, not in the mood for his stupid batering. "Not that I recall." She said with a feigned frown. "You had a dentesion or did Miss Ignis not tell you." "Or yeah..huh." Cassie said and then her voice hardered and she glowered at the headmaster."Let me tell you something Sir, you are a coward and a bully-"

"I am not a coward," He snarled at her. And Cassie smirked as she seemed to have struck a nerve. "Yes. You are, you have been literally beating up a girl who is less then half your age for standing up for what she believes in. I am not going to play by your rules. I am not going to play your stupid games." She glared defeintly at him as an owl soared through and dropped a letter at Cassie's feet.

Ignoring Snape as he prattled on about something Cassie read Lyssa's letter. "Git," She said in reference to Lucius. She would send a reply once she got back to the common room. "Miss Evans, if you do not report to my office at five tomorrow your punishment will be even more dire then it already is." And with a flourish of his cape he walked off.

He..I can't believe that. I know your father can be strict but..wow.

I just bumped into Snape,pissed him off some and he ave me (another) detension.

Cassie.

Lyssa was incredibly bored now. She grabbed one of the books off her shelf, thankful those hadn't been taken away for whatever reason. About halfway through she saw the owl fly in, as she had left the window open to avoid extra noise from it. After reading the letter, she wrote out her reply.

It's not that he's being super strict. He's apparently trying to teach me to follow rules.

Stupid Snape. What can he really do? We all know you're too stubborn to listen.
