Cassie and Lyssa Year Six.

Lyssa walked to the library and went inside, walking around the shelves for a while until she spotted who she was looking for. Walking over she said, "How are you doing?" Draco looked up from the book he'd been reading. "Ok," he replied. Lyssa looked over his shoulder for a moment, seeing what he was reading. "Interesting book choice," she commented. Draco shrugged. The two were quiet for a second, until Lyssa spoke. "Remember, you can ask me for help if you need it," she said, getting up from the chair she'd settled in. Draco shook his head at her. "I won't." Lyssa shrugged as she readied to leave. "Then I'll give it without being asked," she said, turning and walking out the library before Draco could argue back. She walked back to the common room and fell back on the couch again.

Cassie mailed the letter off telling the owl to take it to a post office place, she made her way back to the common room with a sigh. She sat down on one of the chairs tilting her head back to look at the roof.

"This year sucks already, and it's only day two," Lyssa commented when Cassie sat down in a chair.

"Yeah.." Cassie said with a frown.

A few weeks went by and Lyssa found herself spending more time around Draco than Cassie, as she tried her best to help him out with what he was doing. It was proving to be more of a hassle than she'd originally anticipated, since Draco was skeptical to accept her help, not wanting to drag her into it.

More often then not Cassie found herself on her own as Lyssa was off somewhere helping Draco do whatever he had to do. She sighed sitting in the Gryffindor common room and looking down at her barely started homework, she had sort of just been doddleing on the side.

Lyssa nearly stormed into the common room that night, flopping very undignantly on the couch in front the fireplace. She pinched the bridge of her nose between her fingers in frustration, muttering under her breath.

Cassie ignored Lyssa as she half stormed into the common room, because while she knew that Lyssa had to help Draco with whatever he was doing she was feeling slightly shoved aside and kind of lonely.

Lyssa sighed and dug in her bag, which she had with her, pulling out a quill and some paper. She then began to write a letter to her mum. She finished it with a sigh and got up to go send it to her.

Cassie sighed and this post fails.

A few more days went by and Lyssa found herself with her first bit of freetime in a long while. She was using it to catch up on her homework, which had drastically been piling up over the last while. Sighing, she sort of wished she was going to Hogsmeade like most of her other classmates.

Cassie was glad once the weekend came for the Hogsmead trip but wished Lyssa was coming too but the other girl had to work on her homework. Cassie sighed as she walked down to the town kicking random rocks as she walked past them.

Lyssa frowned as the last older student walked out of the common room. With a sigh, she reached over and grabbed her potions book from the pile of books next to her, turning to the right page. She might as well do that essay first. It was the longest and was due the soonest.

Cassie got down to Hogsmead and went into the three broom sticks to get herself a butterbeer, she payed for the drink and sat down at one of the tables sipping on her drink. She just aimlessly wandered around the town not really having anything to do but not really wanting to go back to the castle.

Lyssa got a couple of lines into her essay, then stopped and rested her chin on her hand, staring out the window in front of her. She wanted to be anywhere but working on schoolwork. With a sigh, she shook herself out of her daze and looked back down at her homework.

Cassie set off back to the castle once she'd run out of things to procrastinate on. She slowly walked up the path but instead of going up to the common room she sat down under a tree on the grounds, lying back to look up at the sky. She liked looking up at the sky though it was considerably nicer at night when the stars were out.

Lyssa finished her potions essay with a huge yawn. She wanted to take a nap now, having nearly exhausted herself, not getting to bed til well after midnight the last week and a half. But instead, she grabbed the next book, Transfiguration and started on that assignment instead.

Cassie just kind of lay there for a while and then made her way back up to the dorm. Giving the password to the fat lady she entered and sat down on one of the couches.

Lyssa eventually stopped fighting against her drooping eyelids, and surrender to them, putting her head down on her arm, using her Transfiguration book as a pillow. Soon, she had fallen asleep, destined to wake up with a sore neck.

Cassie noticed that Lyssa had fallen asleep and with a sigh the girl went to wake up her freind. "You'll get a sore neck like that," She said shaking the other girl awake.

Lyssa blinked awake as she felt someone shaking her shoulder. She lifted her head up a little, hair falling in her face, as she blinked sleepily. She turned her head a little bit to see Cassie standing next to the chair she was sitting in.

Cassie sat back down on the couch once she saw that Lyssa was at least awake.

With a wide yawn, Lyssa sat up from her book so that she wouldn't fall back asleep no matter how much she wanted to. She looked back at her homework and frowned. "You've been quiet lately," Lyssa said, aiming the words at Cassie as she wrote something down.

"Have I?" Cassie asked though she knew she kind of had been but more so because she didn't really have anything to say and Lyssa always seemed to be with Draco.

Lyssa nodded and said, "Yeah, you have. Is there something wrong? I know I've been busy, but is there anything else?"
