Cassie & Lyssa (Year 7. Completed)

Lyss walked straight out of the room and back into the classroom.

"As fun as it was." I said geting to my feet. "I vote that we don't do it again."

I too walked out of the office and back into the classroom, I sat down in my chair attempting to ignore people wondering if I was ok.

As I read, I couldn't help but hear that quite a few people were upset with me for going through with it, but I couldn't bring myself to care what they thought.

I did, however, sneak a glance at Cassie.

My head had already been hurting and these annoying buggering people weren't helping in the slightest.

"Do my a favour and shut up." I moaned.

I glanced over my shoulder at Lyss, she had a look of indifference on her face as if she didn't care.

We had a break next period, hopefully we could talk in the Gryffindor common room then.

I sighed, grateful when the class ended. Maybe now all the wankers would shut up. Well until a rumor was spread throughout the school of what happened.

I put my book in my bag, and stood up, walking out of the room first, seeing as I was sitting in the very back.

When the bell rang I left the class room as fast as I could without my legs giving way underneath me.

I was second out of the room, unsure of how to get Lyssa's attension without seeming to still be freinds with her I kept walking and sighed with relief as she assended up towards the common room.

I walked to the common room, telling the portrait the password, and going in.

I sat on one of the couches in front of the fireplace, putting my bag at my feet.

I ran a hand through my hair, mind whirring through so many different things.

The portrait hole shut before I got there and I gave the password and entered too.

I dumped my bag on the floor and sat down on a couch.

"I now officaly christen Defence against the dark arts, the dark arts." I muttered.

"Well that's unfortunate. I find it informative and interesting," I said, not looking to her, but the fire.

Running my hand through my hair again, and now tapping my nails on the table in front of the couch, I was silent again.

I looked at Lyss weirdly. "Ok, if you find Crucioing your best freind interesting..." I trailed off.

She couldn't find it interesting? Unless she was pulling my leg, but it wasn't a funny thing to pretend to enjoy..

"Did I say that that was what I found interesting?" I snapped. "I was refering to the class as a whole obviously. But it seems you didn't catch that."

I gave her an irritated look.

I scowled seriously confused, why was Lyssa acting like this?

"And how was it informatic?" I asked rolling my eyes. "I could have learnt more reading a children's picture book."

I winced as I put pressure of my arm.

"Right, as if a picture book could tell you how to deal with things, REAL things, going on in the REAL world right now," I said, in a somewhat sarcastic manner.

My irritation just grew.

"Well I prefere to know what the picture book has to say then to learn the cruiatus curse." I snapped back.

Seventh year Gryffindors were entering the common room by this time. They glanced confused at Lyss then at me then back at Lyss.

"Have it your way then, but when you die I don't want your ghost around me, else I would feel the need to say I told you so."

Shaking my head, I gather my bag and walking right through the group that had just entered, I left.

I just sat there looking blankly at the portrait hole.

What had just happened?

It's as our "pretending Lyss is like a typical Malfoy idea" had just turned horribly wrong. Our game turned real.

I stopped a short ways down a corridor, still on the seventh floor.

Pinching the bridge of my nose gently between two fingers I sighed.

What the bloody hell was making me act like this?

I stood up and grabbed my bag walking through the Gryffindors. I heard Lavander whisper soemthing to Pavati but I only picked up a few words. Lyssa, Cassie and weird.

I walked through the portrait hole and down the corriders, I was immeansly confused.

I saw Lyss at the end of the corrider and sighed. "Lyss?" I said hesitantly. "Are you ok?"

I looked back in the direction I came when I heard my name to see Cassie. When will she learn to leave well enough alone?

Rolling my eyes, I snapped, "Yes I'm bloody ok. Why wouldn't I be?"

I sighed. "Lyss." I muttered.

"What's gotten into you? You've gone into Malfoy mode."

It hurt me to see my best freind like this.

"What are you talking about?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. "Have you gone bonkers? There's nothing gotten into me."

I shook my head at her.

I raised my eyebrow back at her. "Lyss, seriously. You're acting strangly." I sighed. "It's like you've gotten stuck in Malfoy mode, your acting more Malfoyish then Draco does. I'm worried."

"More like a Malfoy than Draco?" I raised my eyebrow higher. "That would be my father."

I felt my nose scrunching up at the mere thought of acting like Lucius. It was a horrid thought.

Then I just had to laugh at it.

"Well you are." I said. I was extreamly irritated and this was going no-where.

"I think Dark Arts got you stuck on Malfoy mode Lyss."

I sighed and swore. "Stupid Carrows, Stupid Snape, Stupid Voldemort. Stupid blasted dark arts." I had had enough of Voldemort and his Death Eaters and their Dark Arts, but I couldn't do anything.

"Right, sure. Just believe that," I said, turning to walk away.

Break was over, so I made my way down the stairs to Transfiguration.

When I made it to that floor, I waited outside the door with the congeal members of the class, waiting for Professor McGonagall. While standing there, I spotted Draco.

I will then. I muttered to myself.

I was starting to get worried, I wondered if I should talk to one of the teachers about it, preferably Mcgonaggle.

I sighed and walked down to transfig glowering at whoever I passed.
