Cassie & Lyssa (Year 7. Completed)

My eyes went super wide as Snape interfered with Voldemort kiling Cassie.

Getting over my shock quickly I sent a spell right at him (not Snape of course, he's dead ).

And luckily for me, it hit him.

I didn't rejister that Lyssa had just killed Voldemort I was too busy thinking about that people were always dying to save me.

I cried.

Quickly I moved over to Cassie, who was crying again.

"Get up," I said. "We have to go. The Death Eaters will be here soon."

I dragged her to her feet.

I stood up shakily.

We half ran out of the house. Disaperating right outside the boundry.

We appearated outside the gates of the school

The second after we landed from Apparating I nearly collapsed onto the ground.

"It's over..." I muttered, not believing it myself.

I looked at Cassie. "How are you doing?"

I was still half crying, "Why do people always die because of me?"

The gate was locked macgically.

I sighed. Great we hadto wait untill someone found us out here.

"Well we happen to be notorious at getting ourselves into sticky situations," I repliied. "They just happen to be there at the wrong (or is it right) time."

Scowling at the school's gate, I flicked my wand at it to open it like I had...was it only the night before?

"C'mon."

We entered the school and walked up to it.

It was errily quiet.

It didnt feel right.

Inside the school was quiet. It still looked like a mess even.

I looked toward the Great Hall. The doors were closed.

I opened one and peeked in. People were in there. I opened it more and we went in.

We walked in and were suddenly flooded my people.

"Voldemorts dead." Lyssa said as id talking about the weather. She seemed to do that alot.

"And Snape." I added sighing.

"What? How?"

Curse these people and their need for details.

"Well Voldemort was going to kill Cassie, because he caught us trying to sneak away, so Snape stopped him, thus dying, and while he was distracted I killed him," I explained.

"Yea what she said." I muttered.
Mcgonagall came over. "Are you guys ok?" She was frantic.

"No."

"Physically, maybe," I said. "Mentally and emotionally, no."

I gave her a sad look.

She looked sad back.

McGonagall sighed. "Why don't you just sit down and rest."

"Good idea." I muttered.

We sat.

"Thanks," I muttered.

After a matter of moments the hall went back to doing what it was before.

I sighed, relieved that it was mostly over, but apprehensive of what was to come.

The crown quickly dispersed and went back to what it was doing. Most of the bodies had been cleared from the hall

"You know." I said suddenly thinking of soemthing.

"They are going to think Snape killed Voldemort at the same time Voldemort killed snape"

"No they won't," I muttered. "He's is not getting credit for that..."

I made an annoyed face.

"And if they try to put it that way well I can do that last spell used thing on my wand and prove he didn't."

I smiled slightly.

"I suppose but they will know Voldemort killed Snape."

I looked around the hall, people were still mourning.

"Well of course," I said, then I made a more annoyed face."Ok, I'm not sitting around. There are things to do. It wouldn't be right. No matter what I've just been through."

I stood up and looked at Cassie.

"Yea kay." I muttered but didnt stand up, I just wanted to stay sitting.

Lyssa walked off to do something and I sighed staring into space.

"Hi." A voice said. I turned and saw Ginny.

"Hi." I muttered.

I walked over to where Madam Pomfrey was still healing people.

"Need any help?" I asked her, biting my lip.

She merely nodded.

"Are you ok?" I asked her.

She nodded.

"I'm sorry about Harry..." I trailed off.

"Its ok." She said. "It's not your fault."

I saw Lyssa helping Madam Pomfree.

"I should probably help, my healing is considerably better then Lyssa's"

But I didn't get up.

All Madam Pomfrey had me doing was healing minor cuts and breaks.

She wouldn't let me do the harder things.

Not that I blamed her. I wasn't all that good at healing.

I sighed and got up.

"Do you need help?" I asked Madam Pomfree.

She noded and told me what to do to what person.

I pulled out my wand and got to work.

I smiled over at Cassie.

She was working with some of the harder to heal things.

Soon all the minor injury people were healed to the best of my abilities.
