Cassie and Lyssa Year Six.

Cassie nodded. "If you say so." She said with a frown as Lyssa continued to work.

"I do," Lyssa said, fighting a yawn as she added another sentence. It was about halfway done now.

Cassie went to bed sometime later.

Lyssa stayed, working on her homework. She managed to fall asleep on her homework again, the third time that week. At least she hadn't yet managed to fall asleep on the drying essays. That would've been embarassing.

Cassie sighed upon waking up the next morning and noticing that Lyssa wasn't in her bed. "Lyssa," She said with a sigh getting into the main room and shaking the girl awake. "Stuff your homework you need to sleep properly."

"Well," Lyssa said in a tired voice, turning her head from her arm to look at Cassie, "I also need to pass my classes, which requires doing homework. I'm just short on time right now... Detention isn't helping any..."

"Lyssa, I can help you with your homework you know that." She said helping the girl pack up her papers. "Come on or we'll be late again and I think defence is first again."

Lyssa shook her head at Cassie as she stretched. "You have your own homework to deal with. You don't need to worry about mine as well. I'm fine."

"No you're not," Cassie said. "And I can help I'm not behind in my homework."

"I am fine, and I'm not that far behind," Lyssa protested, even though she knew she was about four or five assignments behind at the moment. She gave a huge yawn a second later.

"Lyss," Cassie said shaking her head as the two girls set off to class, having been a bit late for breakfast. "I was paying attension to your workload last night you know, you stll have a bit to do."

"Cass," Lyssa said as they walked. "Let it go. I don't want nor do I need your help with anything. I'm just fine on my own."

"Lyssa you're falling asleep on your work, which I classify as need help."

"I don't need help!" Lyssa snapped in a sleepy haze of irritableness. "Now drop it. You're insufferably stubborn sometimes. I'm just a little overworked and pressed for time."

"Fine," Cassie snapped. "Fall asleep in your work again, see if I care."

Lyssa's eyes narrowed. "Well, excuse me for using homework to distract myself from the fact that my brother has to kill Dumbledore!" she snapped, the feeling of tears coming to her eyes. She blinked them away.

The retort that Cassie was going to say died on her lips. She stopped in her tracks looking in shock at Lyssa. "Did I hear that right?" She asked softly shock washing over her.

Lyssa looked at the floor. "Depends. What did you hear?"

Cassie glanced at the floor for a moment and then back up. "Does," Her voice wavered slightly and she shrugged helplessly. "Does..." She looked at Lyss. "Y'know..?" Cassie couldn't remember the last time she was at a loss for words, but it had been a while.

Lyssa frowned, still looking at the floor. "Does what, Cassie? You have to say what you heard or I can't tell you if it's right or not."

Cassie hated not being able to say what she wanted, but she couldn't just outright say. Does he have to kill Dumbledore? Cause well yeah... In the end she pulled out her Gryffindor bravery which had for some reason fled and said softly. "Does he have to.."She winced slightly. "Kill Dumbledore..?" Cassie looked at her feet not sure if she actually wanted an answer.

Lyssa winced a little, hearing the words spoken back to her aloud. She nodded and said softly, "Yeah....he does..."

Cassie's eyes widened. "Oh god," She said softly. "Oh god." Cassie wasn't sure what else to say, she half couldn't process that fact that a) Draco was being forced to kill someone otherwise he and his family wouldbe killed and b) that person was Dumbledore, that was a recipe for desaster. Because even Voldemort hadn't been able to kill him.

"Mum and I know that he won't be able to..." Lyssa muttered next.

Cassie wrapped her arms around her freind and hugged her having no idea what on earth to say.
